I came home on 10/30/2023 to find a package at my door. Upon opening it I discovered it was a dress from POSHMARK, which I had never ordered. I immediately contact POSHMARK and began to investigate. It seems that an order was placed on 10/19/2023 for this $580 dress. I did not order this item on the 10/19 and in fact, was not available that day due to attendance at a conference. The dress is a size XS, listed as a wedding dress. I am not a size XS and have no intention of getting married (I am already married and 66)!I asked the seller for a refund, which was refused. I contacted POSHMARK support.poshmark.com to initiate a refund. The information I am able to find is that there is a 3 day window in which to request a refund. So far I have not received any further correspondence from Poshmark support, other than a form reply asking for the order number, which has been provided to them.I am at a loss as to how this purchase was initiated. Poshmark claims to have buyer protection if there is undisclosed damage or an item is not as described. I purchased an MCM ***** pack and it arrived smelling heavily of cigarette smoke. I was not aware that the item was exposed to constant smoke, nor was this disclosed. I contacted Poshmark for a refund but they said this isnt covered. Why not? It is undisclosed damage to an item that would have changed my decision in purchasing the ***** pack. I was mislead in making a purchase. I am rejecting this response because their response did not address the issue. They sent me an email merely saying that a refund will not be granted. They did not address the fact that the item did not properly disclose the damage (of the cigarette smell). Poshmark said they cannot identify the source of the odor, even though the item had pieces of tobacco in it, and the seller admitted she smokes after that fact by stating "you didn't ask me if I'm a smoker, and that's your fault for not asking." This needs to be reevaluated by Poshmark.All I ask is that Poshmark make this right since the seller sold me a poor quality item that was not described in full, specifically that she smokes and that her items smell like cigarette smoke. I have never returned anything before, nor do I have a history of attempting to make returns. From experience,Im seeing buyers are NOT protected as advertised.
Poshmark is telling me to resell the item. Is it because they dont want to return the sellers commission, and they're pushing me to resell the item to receive yet another commission? Do I withhold the information and not tell buyers that the item smells like smoke?Is that what Poshmark is about now? Being deceitful and just making sales? Consider the situation, the poor quality item I received,this buyer protection that you Poshmark advertises, yet no one from the business can help me..

I listed a Givenchy bag on sale. I purchased the bag about 10 years ago directly from a retailer, so I know it was 100% authentic. Given that it's been so long, I didn't have the receipt or paperwork left and listed the bag for $500, which would go through Poshmark's physical inspection to confirm my the bag's authenticity. On 09/07/2023 a buyer made me an offer purchased the bag for $425. This price was lower than required for Poshmark's inspection, but the buyer knew that when making the offer. Upon receipt, the buyer spoke on the phone with Givenchy and gave them the serial number listed on the bag, and informed me that Givenchy was unable to confirm the bag's authenticity based on the serial number. The buyer asked to return the bag and Poshmark agreed, despite not having actual confirmation that the bag was inauthentic (just an inability to confirm over the phone). Poshmark issued the buyer a return lable, which had the wrong address on it (despite my account being updated with my correct address). The return was delivered to a different state and at this point, Poshmark let me know that they refuse to help me get my bag back because it is counterfeit. They completely stopped responding to messages from both me and the buyer. Thankfully, the buyer was able to help me and I was able to get my bag back after nearly 2 months, and money spent on a shipping label with the correct address. The fact that Poshmark completely disregarded me as a customer and refused to help me because my "bag was counterfeit" despite having ZERO confirmation of this, and never physically or otherwise inspecting the actual bag is outrageous. They have an authentication service for a reason, but if no physical inspection happened, they have no proof that the bag was counterfeit and I expect to be helped as a customer. I came very close to losing the bag, and with it hundreds of dollars, were it not for the goodwill of the buyer.Business Response

Company's platform allowed for scam products to be posted. Due to this, I was unable to find a replacement. I am charging Poshmark not only the refund, but the cost to replace the item they promised me. With the amount of fake profiles that I was able to find within a few minutes, this feels like a scam to collect personal information and credit card information under false pretenses.Business Response

I sold an Hermes luxury bag on Oct 1st, 2023 in Order ID: ************************. I utilized the Poshmark supplied **** priority mail shipping label tracking number ********************** and it was scanned by **** on Oct 2nd, 2023. Tracking number delivery receipt shows buyer received the Hermes bag on 16 Oct 2023. ***** claimed that it took too long for **** to deliver the bag and opened a return case on 17 Oct 2023. Poshmark has no control over ****, shipping and transit delays are not Poshmarks fault, which is understood by most. There still hasnt been a response to the return case but instead, Poshmark cancelled the order on 20 Oct, four days after the buyer had received the bag. The buyer stated she received the bag, yet Poshmark still cancelled the order and my funds were not released to me. This is theft. ***** received my luxury Hermes bag gifted to her by Poshmark for free and Poshmark has stolen the money from me. The buyer was allowed to circumvent the return process and now has my Hermes bag and money was returned to her. Poshmark policy is that the return case is to be approved and a shipping label generated for the buyer to send the item back. Please return my funds to me as the bag was delivered per the Poshmark label tracking number delivery receipt and buyer now has the item. I sold a purse which was delivered on Oct 23. Poshmark is suppose to release payment on 3de day and today is Oct 27 the 4th day, and I still never received my payment for delivered purse. On October 13, 2023, I bought a used ***** Vuitton purse. The advertisement showed an authentic used LV purse with the sewn in ********** number for $705.00. The purse arrived and its an obvious fake brand new purse without a legitimate label or ID number. I immediately reported the purse as fake. Under the POSHMARK PROTECTION, Im *********** a free authentication, the purchaser has to accept the ***************************** holds the money for three days. I did not accept the purse, again I said it was a fake & I wanted a refund. Assuming Id get a refund, I stupidly bought a second ****************** purse for $800 thinking I wouldnt be scammed twice. It was advertised as an authentic ***** Vuitton. A few days later, I took the first purse to Dillards, a reputable dealer of new ***** Vuitton ************* said it was definitely a fake LV, not authentic & I advised POSHMARK of such. In the meantime, I received an email from POSHMARK that they stand by their *********** NOT *********** a refund. *** filed several disputes & continue to send disputes, to no avail. I asked them if they would look at the ************ wont. Ive accused POSHMARK of being in on the scam. I then got an email from @jeffmmr08, a seller on POSHMARK, that the purse was on its way. I jokingly replied that it better not be a fake. He didnt reply & immediately turned to *************************** was paid. I continue to send disputes on both ********** turned in both sellers, ********************** to POSHMARK & have heard nothing. These scammers advertise authentic ***** Vuitton purses & deliver obvious fakes. I only bought the second purse thinking my $$ on the first purse would be refunded. Now I have $1,680 financed through ASSIST @ around $200 a month & two fake purses. Im taking the purses to ****** in ********** to see if they will give me something in writing that they are not authentic. I also filed a dispute with ASSIST. I am rejecting this response because:
I was told by ********, a reputable seller of new ****************** handbags, that the first bag for $705 is definitely counterfeit. They were unable to put it in writing because they didnt sell the bag.When the two bags I purchased are compared with an authentic Louis ******* bag, they are obviously counterfeit. With respect to the second bag for $800, POSHMARK emailed me a return label on 11/01/23. The purse was sent to POSHMARK within 24 hours.
I dont believe I was afforded any of the post-purchase benefits offered by POSHMARK on the first bag. I live in ******, *******, and cant find anyone who authenticates designer handbags. Im *********** a free authentication by POSHMARK since the bag was over $500.
Under the POSHMARK Protection Plan, I was 1) required to accept the bag, which I never did.
2) I am *********** a free authentication since the bag was over $500, and
3) I was not given the three days before the money was funded.I feel the website for POSHMARK, especially with respect to complaints, is very difficult to navigate. My daughter, who is very technically savvy, agreed.

My order number with Poshmark is 6522d7c12b9ba461f3eccc8c. I sold a purse to a lady and when she received the purse, she claimed that it was too small and she couldn't use it, even though I had "mini" in the listing tag. Poshmark decided to let her send me back the purse and refund her the money. When she sent the purse back to me, it went back to her (I think because of a missing letter in the city in my address) and now Poshmark has the money. I have contacted their support email several times with no reply. I tried contacting them through ******** and was told to fill out a form, which required my credit card (I refused to give it). Now, I can't get a hold of anyone and the funds are "pending" and the buyer has my purse. The buyer has not responded in the messages where I am trying to get help. I feel completely screwed by this company.
