I ordered a pink Guitar from Poshmark for my daughter as a birthday gift. As a seasoned guitarist, who owns many guitars myself, I immediately noticed all of the imperfections with this guitar such as the strings looked as if they were hurriedly put on and were not cut at the peg giving a cheesy appearance; the guitar would not stay in tune very long and while trying to tune the high E string it broke from the tuning peg being cheesy. I asked for a refund because I did not want to give this type of guitar to my daughter on her birthday, however, Poshmark refused and said that Guitar was now damaged. This was a lie to not give me a refund there is nothing physically wrong with the guitar, and anyone that knows anything about Guitars would say the same thing I should not have to explain that to someone that strings can break all the time and I didnt do anything to the Guitar to damage it.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
Had I known the item would come in the condition it arrived looking disheveled and unable to be tuned properly I would never had bought it. It seems to me that Poshmark has a no return policy, regardless of whether or not a customer is satisfied with the product. Why not simply say, all sales are final which will give the customer the option as to whether or not they want to buy something defective or not. I will never buy anything else from Poshmark because I dont want to take a chance on buying something defective, and not being satisfied Because truly customer satisfaction is not at the forefront of this companys brand. I will definitely let others know about Poshmark as well.

It still does not adequately explain why a refund is not being offered. It claims that the guitar was damaged but offers no explanation of the damage. And quite frankly its insulting to think I paid $278 for a guitar that Im completely unsatisfied with and for them to offer me a $50 credit to spend more money with them on some new item.

I had a pair of sneakers listed on their site for sale at $213. I recieved an email the item sold at 11:30 pm thurs night. Fri morning I got an email I had to add info for tax purposes. At 8:30am fri I got the email that the sale was complete including the shipping label and encouraging me to ship the sneakers asap. I did at 11:00 am fri. At 1:39 pm fri I got an email not to ship the item they didnt verify the payment. Payments are supposed to be processed immediately. It took 13+ hours from original sale email and 6 hours from the second to notify me there was no payment! I emailed support 6 times since fri and have not heard anything from them! Im out the $170 I would have made from the sale, Im out the $213 pair of sneakers and theyre on the way to someone who didnt pay for themBusiness Response

Ordered a product from a seller on Poshmark. We had an agreement before my purchase I could return the item if I could not fix it. Turns out we had a medical emergency overnight that would make the purchase unfeasible...hence me unable to fix said item. Contacted poshmark via email immediately the next morning and informed seller. Poshmark responded after the weekend claiming basically because it was shipped to them...they cannot cancel the order. They basically take 7+ days to authenticate supposedly during the holidays yet cant cancel? They further claim if it fails authentication...they will then and only then allow a cancel and full refund. This makes no sense. Seems like they just dont want to pay return shipping to their seller...and want a buyer to foot the bill for a product they no longer want.Per PoshMark:The contract to purchase is between the buyer and the Seller, not Poshmark. Well...then legally they are not able to enforce a nonrefund. My Seller and I had an agreement I could return it despite "all sales final" in writing.Give me my $1,200 back...I may file a civil lawsuit against PoshMark for emotional distress over this. I am working with payment processor but should PoshMark try and fight me on this, I will see them in Court next year, guaranteed. I already know their agent of process for serving them lawsuit papers and they'd be wise to is*** the money back and let the matter drop. Not to mention I contacted their head of legal who also seems scared crapless by the message I left on his phone notifying him of my intent to *** should this prove more of an is***This has emotionally distressed me far too much especially when TOS makes it clear I am *********** a refund.

November 13, 2023 Order #*******c00deab29caf40c80 I ordered a bag from one of the Poshmark Ambassadors after the seller assured me the bag was navy blue and not ocean blue. I already own a similar style bag in ocean blue. When the bag arrived I opened the package and was shocked to find it was ocean blue and not navy blue. I uploaded pictures of the bag in clear lighting conditions. Poshmark then told me to take pictures in natural light without any flash, which I also did. All of the sellers photos were taken in low light conditions without any flash, they were taken in front of a window with the blinds drawn. The seller became aggressive, attacking my character. Because the seller is a Posh Ambassador, Poshmark ultimately sided with the seller and ignored my evidence.Business Response

I have never sold a single counterfeit but poshmark keeps warning and suspended my account for that. I have all receipts to account for all items I sold this is beyond offensive and I don't know why they intentionally would do something like this. Someone purchased my item off of their website. It was listed as good used condition with no rips, tears, etc. ****** purchased my item stating that it smelled like perfume. Its a used item. It can have a smell, I live in a house that uses plug in air fresheners and dryer sheets, etc. we even have pets. The buyer who claims to have bad allergies never asked any questions. I recently cleaned the item, but she could also have it cleaned on her own if it smelled like perfume. My understand is that things can be returned if they are not like they were listed/sold on the website. This person was allowed by poshmark to get a refund from me by making up a smell of perfume because there was nothing really wrong with my item. This is unfair and deceptive because I was money and time on packaging up the item, listing it and on driving it to the mail. I want a refund for the $13-$14 I was *********** the sale because the return was based on a lie and poshmark allowed it against their on description of item rules.Business Response

I was trying to sell my shoes on the website where you upload your pictures of what you want to sell. So I did. After a lil time someone brought the shoes and sent me the receipt. Now Poshmark contacted me to let me know there is an activation fee to go get a $200 dollar gift card and send it to them. So I did. Then next they email to say I have to expand my account so I need to give them $800 dollars which I will receive back with the money from the buyer. Once all that was done. They tells me that I need to send another card for $300 dollars to receive my money which I near ask them to put in a card when I have account on there website for them to put the money there. Now they are telling me if I dont pay the $300 dollars I wont receive my money.Business Response

Poshmark has made several mistakes in promising costumers such as myself authenticating all items over 500$ this is the second mistake theyve made and Im fed up I purchased w*** I thought to be a lamb leather Celine *** t*** retails for close to 1800$ considering the *** was 500 I thought it to be relatively low, but because of posh authenticity services I purchased it anyway.They passed it though as authentic. As a luxury buyer authenticator and seller i immediately realized when I got it t*** this item was fake the first give away was the *** was pleather (not real leather) the tags and stitching was inadequate and I tired taking it to my old employers (the real real) and they immediately told me this was a fake. Poshmark has done this to me before with a 3000$ goyard bag and a 5000$ diamond tennis bracelet t*** was 5 carats off from the total item weight I am fed up and and I want my money back please helpBusiness Response

I ordered a watch on line through poshmark They sent me confirmation right away. But the watch never came This was on October 24 *************************************************************** an email they needed order number so I gave the number. Then they needed me to verify my identity through there app I did not have there app I sent them a copy of the confirmation page. That is the last I heard from them.
