My husband (REMOVED) and I first met with Enact Systems in August of 2025 to begin the process of solar system (panels, battery, EV charging outlet) installation at our duplex in REMOVED. Enact was recommended to us by QuitCarbon. We signed a contract with Enact and REMOVEDin September. Permitting was completed by early November. REMOVEDwas to install the components of the system and Enact was to provide the software and monitoring. Enact handled all billing. By December 13, we had paid Enact in full ($47,518) based on the request of REMOVED, CEO of REMOVED, who told us they could not install our system by the end of the year without full payment. He also guaranteed installation by end of year (end of tax credit coverage) or we would get our money refunded, "no questions asked."As of February 21, our solar system is still not installed. There is no installation date on the schedule. In addition, the process has been fraught with errors, a lack of communication, and agreements not kept by both Enact and REMOVED. We have lost out on a tax credit of over $14,000. To pay for the system, we removed money from a high yield savings account where it could accrue interest. Dealing with the ineptitude and dishonesty of both companies has also taken valuable time and energy. We ask that we are repaid in full.

We have already contacted the client to resolve the situation. The customer's system was already designed and permitted but not installed and now the customer is not willing to proceed. So this can lead to their solar installer refunding most of their deposits if they choose not to proceed, after adjusting for cancellation fees as laid out in their contract.

As next steps, we will reach out again to push for a final resolution with the solar installer and keep you informed
