We were approved for a merchant account with PayCosmos (Linked2Pay) on September 25, 2025. They sent us login credentials for their CRM, dispute portal, and even the VAR sheet from the processor — meaning our account was fully active and configured.
However, they set up our account under the wrong industry code, failed to correct it for days, and kept assuring us everything was fine. Then, right after saying they fixed it, they closed the account an hour later — claiming it was because our checking account only had $66. That’s absurd since we couldn’t deposit funds because they never allowed us to process payments.
This whole experience has been misleading, unprofessional, and financially damaging. I strongly caution other businesses before working with PayCosmos — this seems to be a pattern of approving accounts and closing them shortly after.

We signed up with Transmodus d/b/a/ Paycosmos for merchant processing services. We were significantly overcharged in multiple months. Eventually Paycosmos conceded that they were overcharging us, but we had to repeatedly follow up to get them to refund the overcharges. Their customer service is slow and typically unhelpful. Disappointing experience.
