Maxon Computer Inc. charged me twice per year for the same software subscription (Universe Plugin Pack) from 2021 to 2024, totaling $848.52 in duplicate charges. I did not authorize or knowingly use two licenses.

I reached out to Maxon support in January 2025 after noticing I’d been charged twice annually—once in March and again in September—for the same product. I communicated with multiple support agents, provided documentation of the charges, and requested a refund.

Despite acknowledging the duplicate subscriptions existed, Maxon refused to refund more than two months of charges, citing an internal policy. I followed up several times, asking them to reconsider or provide documentation supporting the denial. They closed the case, stating it had been reviewed at the “highest level.”

I was told the matter had been escalated to their legal team. I followed up with that team, but received no response whatsoever. Maxon has made no further attempt to address or explain why a duplicate subscription was allowed to continue for years without notification or resolution.
