I had an order that never shipped so WhatNot SAID they provided me a refund. This is untrue. ****** stated they refunded me by e-check and that it was pending and if I didnt get the money in 5-7 days contact WhatNot. Well, the check did not clear therefore they stole my money. I emailed them about this and never heard a word back. Previous to this, they flagged me as a fraud because there system detected I was asking for too many refunds. I have a shopping problem. I buy several things a day almost all day. The number of refunds given is small in comparison to how much I buy. They let me know each time I needed help for a bad order or didnt receive, they told me after the fraud detection situation, they would no longer be helping me.Since I filed a chargeback with my bank they have disabled my account. Which is fine. I shouldnt be on it for my own good, they have awful customer service, and their practices I believe are illegal.Since they disabled my account I can not see my open orders to make sure I receive them all. I have no way of remembering all I ordered! So basically WhatNot could be stealing my money because how do I know so got all my packages! I want a list of all my orders and tracking numbers.I wish nothing from this other than a copy of all my orders and tracking. I just want to warn others. Hopefully the app someday will get shut down.Initial Complaint

This business (**********) is an independent business that sells bamboo clothing and blankets valued at $15-$50 on a bidding app called Whatnot. The seller makes a cover picture for her sales, saying she is giving away a free wagon valued at $600. She claims this every single show that she has. I bid on a small blanket at the end of her show as she alluded to the fact that this one was the one who would get the wagon also. The wagon had not been given the whole show before this. I, however, only received the blanket, which should not have cost more than $50 max. I paid $177 for it because so many people bid, thinking they were getting the wagon if they won in addition to the blanket. I contacted her several times, and she will not refund me or return the blanket. I also contacted the app support, and they redirected me to Sugar Swan and don't take any responsibility. Again, her shows always claim that someone is getting a free wagon ($600 value). She is baiting people into coming to her shows, bidding high, and buying her items, thinking they are getting a chance at a wagon valued at over $600. No one actually wins the wagon! The company is clearly baiting and switching people with a false giveaway.Initial Complaint

I was charged $220.60 for a transaction May 27. (Interest until it was paid was $223.80)I was in the middle of filing out the buy now to purchase a plant through an Affirm loan through their auction platform. Before I could finish purchasing, someone else purchased it and it therefore sold out. The affirm must have gone through at the same time but the other person won the plant. It did not go on my account and I did not get the plant. I paid the affirm loan so I wouldnt have anything outstanding as I had some extra cash at the time in June. I asked Affirm for a refund and they told me it was something Id have to follow up with Whatnot. I reached out to what not multiple times. They told me there was nothing they could see that was fraudulent. I also asked for a screenshot for that date that showed I made any purchase. Ive yet to hear back from them. Ive let them know I was following up with BBB. Ive always gotten great customer service from ********************** so this is disappointing that they wont provide a refund. Im including photos from my conversation with Affirm showing the whatnot transaction ID, the affirm loan that was paid, and screenshots from whatnot from 5.24-5.28 that shows there were no transactions of that amount. Ive asked them to show me where I made a purchase for that amount without success.Initial Complaint

I purchased 5 separate items altogether totaling $168.00 from one sellers show (KKWHOLESALE). The seller never shipped my items. I submitted a claim within 48 hours when I saw that the seller did not ship my orders. Whatnot sent an email stating they were "researching my claims". It has now been 5 weeks later and Whatnot refuses to process my refunds and there is no alternative method of contacting anyone to resolve this issue and get my money. I consider this theft of behalf of the seller and Whatnot. I have proof the seller never shipped my items and Whatnot has my money. If a customer pays for an item and it was never shipped, much less never received, that is theft of funds. I plan on filing suit against both the seller and Whatnot if this issue isn't resolved by July 5th, 2025 as well as legal recourse with respective authorities.Initial Complaint

I am submitting this complaint regarding a transaction made on the Whatnot platform involving the purchase of two Pop Mart Labubu Macaron collectible figures from the seller @Dripdistrict.Details of the ComplaintUpon delivery of the order, I found that one of the two figures was completely missing. In addition, the figure that was received appears to be counterfeit. The ** code intended for product authentication redirected me to a suspicious and unauthorized domain (*********), rather than Pop Marts official verification sites (***************** or ****************). This deviation strongly indicates the item is not authentic.I paid a total of $114.32 for this order, which includes shipping and taxes. The tracking number for the shipment is: 92055903478427300134097488.Whatnot's ResponseWhen I contacted Whatnot support, they acknowledged the missing item in writing. However, they refused to issue a refund, citing a high rate of refund requests on my account. They also declined to refund the suspected counterfeit item without third-party verification or direct confirmation from the brand, despite strong evidence that the ** scan failed and redirected to a non-official domain. Despite evidence provided to them.Whatnots response is unacceptable and does not align with their own counterfeit protection policy, which promises buyer protection when counterfeit goods are reported within 30 days.Seller History and Community ReportsAfter this experience, I discovered multiple public complaints online, especially on Reddit, warning others about this same seller (@Dripdistrict) for selling fake Labubu figures. These complaints describe a pattern of behavior where scan codes are reused and fakes are shipped to buyers.I respectfully request that the Better Business Bureau help facilitate a resolution to this matter and that Whatnot be held accountable for honoring both their fulfillment and counterfeit protection obligations.Sincerely,******* ******Initial Complaint

Transaction date: June 9 2025. I made a purchase for $599 before taxes on a ***** Crossbody from a seller on Whatnot. The Seller said that the crossbody was in excellent condition with no call outs, no defects or issues. They also promised to provide a Certificate of Authenticity(***) because the purchase price was $599 or more. I received the bag on June 20, 2025 and the snap is very loose barely stays closed and pops open very easily (snap is defective). The bag also did not include the *** as promised and I cannot verify that this is actually an authentic ***** bag because I was not provided with the proper paperwork as promised. I contacted Whatnot as soon as I received the bag to let them know my issues and they said my account is flagged for receiving too many refunds. This is not true because I made over 50 purchases, and I only received approximately no more than 4 to 5 refunds and that was only due to the fact that the seller took too long to ship the item out or I was overcharged for shipping fees. I have proof of all my purchases and refunds, and I should not be flagged at all for any refunds received. I shop a lot and should be fully covered under their so-called buyer protection policy. There should be no cap on refunds if the seller doesn't ship in time, or over charges for shipping, or an item is not as described. I don't understand why they would limit refunds for valid reasons. Whatnot told me to prove that this item is not authentic and send them paperwork. I refuse to pay for authentication on this bag because it should have come to me with a *** as told and the snap is defective. Why should I have to pay extra money to get this bag authenticated when I was told it's authentic and they would send proof with my purchase? Also, the other issue is the loose snap. I cannot fix that issue. I want a refund. This bag was not as described in the live stream and did not include *** paperwork. I have no idea if it's real or fake.Initial Complaint

I am filing a formal complaint regarding a seller on the Whatnot, **** platform named designerden (*****). 06/17/25, I purchased a ************* Monogram Case from this seller during a live auction. The item I received was completely misrepresented. It arrived in unusable, poor condition and emitted a highly toxic odor that made it impossible to keep in my home. I suffer from breathing issues and use a CPAP machine, so this presented an immediate health risk. Seller did not provide the promised Certificate of Authenticity. Contacted seller and Whatnot support immediately, offering to return the item in its original packaging. Whatnot denied my refund request, citing account history instead of addressing the clear evidence of product misrepresentation. designerden and another seller House of Luxury, appear to be working together and have been repeatedly reported for similar scams and unethical behavior. Other buyers have reported being blocked by these sellers when asking for clarification. There are numerous public complaints, including: **********************************************************************************, ********************************************************************************************************************, ******************************************************************************************************************************************* Authentication Concerns: ************************************************************************************************ Videos Documenting Scams:Sellers admitting to scams Negative buyer experience with ***** Exposing counterfeit sales on Whatnot The sellers frequently pressure buyers with aggressive auction tactics like "you robbed me" or "that's a steal" to push people into rushed purchases. They regularly host giveaways to lure in buyers. Both sellers have been observed consuming alcohol during live auctions. There are also concerning reports of minors selling on the app at extremely late hours (sometimes 3 AM) without parental supervision. Please help me.Initial Complaint

I purchased a wallet during a live auction on the Whatnot platform from a seller called "House of Luxury." The product was misrepresented during the auctionthe item I received does not match the description or presentation in the live show. The item was poor quality and no Certificate of Authenticity was provided, despite it being implied that the product was genuine.I contacted Whatnot Support immediately, offering to return the item, which is still in its original packaging and unused. However, my refund request was denied based on a vague reference to "account history," not the merits of this specific transaction.I feel unfairly treated and ignored despite my valid claim. Whatnot seems to be protecting high-volume sellers at the expense of regular buyers like me. I am a disabled student with limited income, and $162.91 is a significant amount for me.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full refund of $162.91 upon return of the product. I am more than willing to return the item immediately if a return label is provided. I would like Whatnot to honor their Buyer Protection Policy fairly, regardless of seller status or account history.Initial Complaint
