I got a car loan for a 2021 *** sportage 10/13/2023 came back on 4/18/2025 to the dealership I explain how I want to get ride of the 2021 sportage and wanted to get a bigger car for me and my kids. I signed a self voluntary repossession form(turn in the car and close the loan) and we signed on a 2025 *** sorento on 4/20 Deal was suppose to go like this Self-Repo, 1st loan gets closed. New contract starts 4/20. *** **** finance manager ( **** *****) never reached out to the bank, to pick up the car and provide them with a payoff amount in order to close the loan. Now the bank calls me saying I have late payments and I explains to them what I just stated above, they replied and said we never received anything bout a payoff amount. And they report a 60 days late payment on my credit score, which drastically dropped it! Now they ignore my calls or emails but once I mentioned I was frustrated they called Monday 6/23 saying what happens ? We thought you wanted both car, I SAID NO. why would I sign a self repo form then? They gave me a lowball verbal advice to ignore the bank, because they tend to forget the cars that way I can probably keep an extra car and not worry bout it (no loan, but that never happened). I value my credit a lot, and I feel cheated.

This dealership said I need to clean out my vehicle first, sounds like discrimination. I am on camera cleaning out my vehicle so this doesn't make sense. They are not honoring the vehicle warranty on my vehicle. I contacted the manufacturer and they advised the dealership per email of the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty on the vehicle. It seemed like discrimination, the general manager refused to authorize the repairs and it was not alligned with state law or the policy *** ******************* They did not give me a detailed estimate of the necessary repairs for the vehicle. An invoice providing this information was not provided. I took the vehicle to another repair shop earlier in the day and was advised that it was a engine problem. Yet the vehicle was still drivable and I drove it to the *** Dealership larter that same day and left it for repairs. Repair as per vehicle warranty. Won't respond to me.

I am filing this complaint regarding the service I received from Kia Downtown Los Angeles for my 2020 **************** #******, dated 11/27/2024). The dealership charged me $826.00 in labor, which I believe is excessive given the nature of the repairs. I am now having my car serviced at *********************, ************************************************************************************, where the repairs are being completed more efficiently and at a lower cost.Key Concerns:Unreasonable Labor Charges: The labor cost of $826.00 is unjustifiably high compared to quotes from other service providers for the same work. Independent shops, including *********************, offered much lower rates for similar repairs.Lack of Transparency: The dealership failed to explain or justify the labor charges. Additionally, I was charged over $300 for photos and videos sent to my extended warranty provider, a fee that was not disclosed upfront.Extended Repair Timeline: The dealership kept my car for over three weeks, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Updates about the status of my vehicle were vague or nonexistent, despite my repeated attempts to get clarity.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a refund of the $826.00 labor charge due to its excessive nature and lack of clear justification. I also request an explanation for the additional warranty documentation charges and the significant delay in service. The service I received was below the standard expected from an authorized Kia *************************** I trust you will address these concerns promptly to restore confidence in your brand.Thank you for your attention to this ***********,Maya

I co- sign for the 2023 Telluride for my mother. The salesman and my mother came to my job on 1/17/23 for me to sign and the dealership committed fraud against me and my mother by the forgery of the signatures. They changed the contract making me the buyer. I did Not give consent to this action.

My significant other purchased a vehicle in February of 2024 , a 2024 ************ LINE in white under customer name ***************** They ********************** lied about adding maintenance into the contract! they said he HAD TO buy it even though on the form it said it is OPTIONAL to purchase and we both pointed that out to the finance manager and he said no we still had to buy it. I spoke to the General Sales manager and he finally took it off AFTER I said I have worked at a dealership before! BUT they refused to take off the ****** off the car deal and the other ******* product! I know those are optional finance products to purchase and they refused to take it off the contract

On August 31st, my Family of three drove up to ************. Its about an hour away from where I live. We went there to go fish for the day since it was Labor Day weekend. We had been driving the car as normal and there was no sign of overheating no engine light no nothing that couldve been wrong with the car. As we are about to park, the car started smoking we immediately turned it off. We were still in the car. It lit on fire and I rushed to get my one-year-old out his car seat. It only took the car three minutes to blow up. I had just paid off my car two months ago and changed it from full coverage to liability because of the cheaper payments. I had a *** ******** 2016. A couple years ago it was recalled for transmission problems and was given about 10 years of warranty on it. I called *** down to see what they could do for me because Ive completely lost my car. They proceeded to tell me they couldnt do nothing but help me find a new car because it was paid off. Whats the promise of warranty on a car if its not given? My family of three could of lost our life because the car gave no sign at all. I would always keep up with the maintenance as well. I did go check my son out at pediatrician because of the smoke inhalation we all inhaled. I did file a report with the sheriff on site. I also had to pay a total of 450 for the towing and junking of the car. Thats 450 I didn't have. Im an unemployed mother one. Life is unexpected sometimes but I thought I luckily had warranty on my car.

I purchased a 2022 ************** from this dealership. The contact supposedly included a maintenance package which I could take anywhere. I now live in another state, and my car needs to be serviced. But, Im being told that my maintenance package isnt with **** its with someone else. Im now attempting to find out who my paid maintenance package is with, but no one will speak to me. Ive been told that I need to speak to a finance manager, but they are never available when I call, and they wont call me back. I feel like, for some reason Im being ignored, and have been cheated.

I dropped off my car at the *********** center in downtown LA for a faulty air conditioner on May 8, 2024. It's now July 10, and my car still isn't fixed. Initially, the staff was friendly, but I didn't receive any updates for a week and a half, despite using their helpline. They mentioned an issue with the air compressor but never replaced it. I called repeatedly and was told my car was ready after a week and a half. Although I requested a loaner vehicle when I first dropped off my car, they didn't provide one, claiming it needed approval from ***'s main office. This significantly impacted my ability to work and get around. When I picked up my car, there were dirty towels inside, and no one came to confirm the repairs after I waited over 45 minutes. I realized the air conditioner was still broken and called the service center again. They promptly scheduled another appointment, and I dropped off my car on June 24. Now, on July 10, I still have no updates. My new service provider has been more responsive and arranged a loaner car, which I appreciate, but I just want my car fixed. The slow service and poor communication are frustrating. I know others have similar issues based on reviews. I would appreciate help speeding up the process and improving communication between the service center and ***.
