I engaged in a contract with G&J Home Improvements (****** and *********************) to complete a leak repair in a bathroom for $800 and I would pay for materials. This project started around December 28, 2022 where the contractor removed drywall and crown molding. The leak was repaired from a toilet leaking around the seal. Repair of the drywall and crown molding was never completed. The contractor and I engaged in additional contracts with G&J Home improvements to be completed after the leak repair in the bathroom. The additional contracts were to install two recessed lights $240; repaint and repair three garage doors $2500 and backsplash and LED light strips in the kitchen/bar area $250. I paid the contractor $240 for the lights; $1500 for the garage doors and $250 for the backsplash and LED light strips in the Kitchen/bar area. The contractor installed the recessed lighting but never hook up the electrical. The contractor never started the work on my garage. The contractor never finished the work for the backsplash I have texted and called the contractor with no response as of this date. I had to hire another contractor to repair the drywall and crown molding in my bathroom. I will have to hire another contractor to finish the recessed lights installation and the garage door repairs.
