    Im currently waiting for my background check to be finalized. It began during the first week of June. After 5 days my background check updated and it said it would be finalized within a day but that was a lie. They told me it would be finished within 7-10 days and they still havent finished it. They lied to me about the estimated time and then claimed it would take longer. Im losing my opportunity to work at Amazon because of this company. Other companies like DoorDash took 3 days. I call everyday to get an update and they just say theyre working on it. It seems like a lot of people are losing job opportunities because of Accurate. There is false advertising and Im not sure why Amazon is working with a company that is fraudulent. I have worked for the airport at *********** before and I had an extensive background check with the federal government and it took a week. This company Accurate needs to focus on helping workers and stop with the constant lies. Why is my background check profile saying results will be posted within a day and you havent updated it after more than a week. That is untruthful and causing me to lose money and opportunities.

    Nothing has been done to speed up the process. I have gotten background checks done before and they took less than 5 days. Last month I got a background check done by Uber and it was done in less than a week. 

    I dont understand why accurate site is providing inaccurate information. On June 7 your website said my results would be posted within a day. Its already been 2 week with no update. Im losing my job opportunity because of this company. And its happening to a lot of people based on reviews and information I have found on reports done on BBB.

    I have lost my full time job opportunity with Amazon due to Accurate background. They have taken 4 weeks with no results and the same response that theyre working on it. I had a job opportunity with health benefits and its gone. Now I have to look for work elsewhere because of their inadequacy.

    I submitted my background check to Accurate and have been waiting too long. I've called and chatted many times with them and they tell me a different day every time. That day comes and goes and it's still not complete. I have to start my job on the 20th of June and I have to have this background complete before this day. I have a clean record, I'm fingerprinted and every other background company I've used has only taken 1 day. Please escalate this. I feel discriminated after calling and getting wrong completion days.

    I had a background check submitted on the 12th of march and its about to be 3 months now since it was submitted and it is still pending, its gotten to the point where my livlihood is now threatened greatly because these people cannot complete a simple standard background check in a timely manner, shame on them! They need to be sued for lost wages due to their incompetence in completing background checks! Terrible company!

    This company has been unresponsive in completing an outstanding background check, claiming county response. I have followed up with the county and they have confirmed that all information has been passed to Accurate. Background was submitted on 1/22 and still remains incomplete as of 6/6, coming up on FIVE MONTHS.

    I reject this excuse. This background is still pending after TWENTY WEEKS. Luckily, about 3 weeks ago I backed out of this onboarding process and accepted a different offer with a different company. Their background agency returned passing results in only 10 DAYS. Your company needs to seriously reconsider who is processing these checks and their court follow up process.

    This is an ongoing issue, *** missed three offered accepted at Amazon since this background check is prolonged for over 30 days . Two other companies returned the same checks within two weeks .

    Consumer Law 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A States I have the right to privacy.This company released information to a potential employer that negatively impacts my reputation and character. After I was awarded employment and promised to be hired as an employee, the information being reported from this third party unofficial background screening process company ruined my chances of employment.

Accurate only performs background screenings with consumer authorization and reports are only released to those parties authorized by a consumer. Weve reviewed XXXXXXXs concern and can confirm the report was released to the company XXXXXXXX authorized to receive such information. As a consumer reporting agency, Accurate does not make employment decisions for our clients and only reports information as it appears in the public records. We have initiated a deletion request on XXXXXXXs behalf and the processing team will communicate with XXXXXXXX directly regarding the request.

    I started a background check through Amazon on April 12, 2024. It is now May 22, 2024 and I have yet to have it completed. I have had to change shifts and work sites repeatedly. Yesterday, I even went through with going in to another prehire appointment just to get the process restarted. From the rest of the complaints I've read, it seems like everyone gets the same response I did whenever I reached out about the problem. Why does this company take so long with background checks for people that are trying to get jobs?

    so basically i need a background check for a job it says 10 days *** for it to clear and its going on 12 idk if its discrimination cause im white but the foreigners working here refuse to pass this background check so i can get to work. not ok at all i have bills to pay and now their costing me money.

    This company provides fraudulent background time estimates. Countless people, including myself have waited more than average for background checks to be completed. This affects consumer who use their services as they falsely represent turnaround time for background checks. This results in monetary losses for many people who can not get jobs due to this.

    So I submitted my background on April 1, 2024 and was schedule to start at my new job on April 16, 2024. On the same day of my orientation I got a email from my employer stating that my start date has been reschedule due to my background not being done. I call accurate many time and it was the same thing only, saying that it's because I live in ********** and there still a waiting for my county to respond. Fast forward today is *** 17,2024 and my background is still not completed. Every week that I call they give a eta time but everytume that eta come up they just push it forward for the next week. So my last eta was on the *** 15 now it's being push to *** 22. At this point I'm not even counting the days anymore but it has been nearly 60 days. Accurate if you read this, can you please get this my background done because I have bills to pay and I'm going broke on my savings. I really need to start working but you guys also need to do a better job at completing people background.
