  We signed with Alleviate on Nov, 2023 for assistance with 9 accounts paying $274.79/month .Initially were receiving timely updates. They closed 4 accounts. The others remain delinquent, severely past due and with major derogatory charges. One account was left in legal procedures "up in the air". We stopped receiving updates over a year ago and every time we called they said "they were negotiating". In spite of our financial hardship, we were never late with our payments to Alleviate. WE RECOMMEND NOT TO CONSIDER GETTING HELP WITH ALLEVIATE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SENIORS LIKE US.

  During your time in the program, we successfully negotiated and settled five of your enrolled accounts, with progress made possible through your consistent monthly payments. Were confident that, had the program continued, we could have worked toward resolving the remaining accounts as well.
  
  Regarding the legal matter, our team worked diligently to secure a settlement offer. Unfortunately, the available funds at that time were not sufficient to move forward, and additional funding couldnt be secured to accept that offer. That said, we were committed to finding a resolution and would have continued those efforts on your behalf.

  When I enrolled I was told it typically takes 4 months to resolve my debt plan. It has been 10 months. I have been paying them a monthly fee and they have resolved only 2 of 5 accounts. It is very frustrating. I am disappointed and feel I will never resolve my debt issues with this company.

  I got concise answers to my questions. They promptly took care of what I wanted to do as far as providing more funding to aide in negotiations. For the part they could not tell me, I was given a general timeline on when they would get back to me.

  It has taken quite some time to see progress with my credit cards being paid. Each representative Ive spoken with has given me different information regarding how the process works, and there has been no consistency or assigned agent to handle my case. At one point, my case was even closed after being incorrectly marked as deceased. No one followed up on this serious error, and as a result, my creditors continued to charge late fees, which caused my balance to increase again. When the issue was finally addressed, I was then asked to resubmit all new statements, essentially holding me responsible for additional debt that had accrued during the delay. This has been frustrating and discouraging, and I would appreciate clearer communication, accountability, and a resolution moving forward.
