      I enrolled in a debt management program with Alleviate Financial Solutions seven months ago, and my experience has been extremely disappointing and harmful. Despite making consistent payments totaling $3,626.84, only one small loan was paid off completely ($324.42), and the second loan has received $1,359.24 toward a balance of $1,265.75, while the rest of my debts have been ignored.The agency has charged numerous fees, including "Earned Performance Fees," custodial fees, and disbursement fees, totaling nearly half of my payments. This has caused my other accounts to languish, become delinquent, and some even charge off, directly harming my credit.The counselor misrepresented the program at the outset, claiming that a perfect repayment history would not matter, which led me to trust them. In reality, my credit has been damaged, and my money has been taken for little to no meaningful progress on my debts.Communication is poor, and the agency has deliberately dragged out payments to creditors while collecting fees. This is a textbook example of a predatory financial service. I will be terminating their services immediately. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere, as the risks and costs far outweigh any potential benefit.

      You enrolled in an estimated 30-month program in March 2025. Since then, our team has successfully negotiated and secured two settlements at an average of 51% of the original balancesa meaningful step toward resolving your enrolled debts. While we understand your desire for faster progress, settlements are structured around available funds and strategic negotiations to maximize long-term savings.

      Regarding fees, all program feesincluding service, custodial, and disbursement feesare fully disclosed in the signed agreement. Importantly, our service fee is only applied after a settlement has been negotiated, authorized by you, and the first payment has been made. To date, more funds have gone towards your creditors than to our service fees.

      We also want to address your comment about the program being predatory. Our model is regulated, transparent, and designed to help clients reduce debt responsibly. As with all debt settlement programs, credit can be impacted. This is disclosed upfront in our quality assurance call and in our signed agreement to allow for informed decision-making.

      While we strive for consistent communication, we apologize if our outreach didnt meet your expectations and will review this further.

      We respect your decision should you choose to discontinue, and our team will support a smooth transition.

      I just started the program. Having accounts past due is very nerve-wracking and not how I do business, but I have been told that this is a long process. I'm sure my credit report score will soon be in the tank but at my age, it's no longer necessary. Everyone I have spoken to at Alleviate has been very thorough and professional. So far, I would recommend this company.
