This is a continuation of complaint #******** concerning CPT Group's inability and unwillingness to distribute funds/proceeds as directed by the court. CPT responded to my previous complaint #******** on 1/12/23 stating that the check has been generated and mailed on 1/12/23. Considering that CPT Group is in ******, ** and I am in ******, **, one would expect a check mailed one week ago would have arrived by now (1/19/23). This is another example of CPT Group's incompetence or inability to state the truth, both of which are unacceptable.The BBB has stated this case is resolved which is not the case, please advise how the BBB can assist in holding CPT Group accountable for their false statements and have them truly resolve this issue. CPT Group's withholding of these funds for over 1 year while stating the check is in the mail is now for the third time since early December becoming the textbook definition of Theft!Business Response

CPT Group is the settlement distributor for ******** vs ***** Fargo, unfortunately, they have not been able/willing to send me my court-ordered distribution. This check has been sent to the "incorrect address" multiple times although they clearly verified my current mailing address when speaking with them over the phone. Most recently ******* left me a voicemail on December 9, 2022, stating that the check has been reissued and will be mailed out in the next 2 to 3 business days, as of January 12, 2023 nothing has been received.When calling this morning (1/12/23) I spoke with another CPT Group Employee who stated that I needed to complete a form requesting the re-issued check they said was mailed in early December.The CPT employee could not explain the need for this new form to be completed and stated she needed to speak with a manager and would call me back while hanging up.Hours have passed with no callback and to date no check. The level of incompetence and outright lies on behalf of CPT is shocking and now bordering on theft when I have to spend hours on the phone hunting down money that is mine that CPT is holding hostage.Business Response

I recently received a class action settlement check and tried to deposit via mobile app so I checked the mobile deposit box, it failed and Ive now been to 4 check cashing places that will refuse to take it based on the mobile checking box being checked. I even payed to the order of my friend to cash at his credit Union and they refusedBusiness Response

This is regarding my claim in Cel MD Cosmetics Class Action Settlement aka ******** v. ******** *** I never received my settlement check for this settlement so i contacted the class administrator in timely manner regarding the reissue . They asked me to fill out a reissue form in aug 2022 so the check can be reissued to updated address . I prompted responded to them within 24 hours They told me they would reissue the check in 6-8 weeks but never did. Every communication after that they have been non responsive to my email . I was apart of the tik tok class action lawsuit I got a check in the mail from cpt on 11/5 I went to several different places that refused to cash the check. I just want my money.Business Response
