I was hung up on 4 times. I am wanting to cancel my contract, that occured 1-3-24 with Symple Lending. Not a very professional business, when youre being hung up on.Business Response

This company uses crummy tactics. First off when I seen this in the mail, I thought it was from the government. Due to the fact that on envelope it says economic relief 2023, second I do not know where this company gets their info ? I do not have Any outstanding loans in my name and it says so on my credit report, and my report is frozen has been for 4 years also I am on the no solicitation list for such mail . Symple Lending is not a legit business. I received a letter in the mail with pre-approval for a personal loan. When I called the telephone number ************** on the letter on October 31, 2023 Tuesday and spoke with representative ***************** he took my information including social security number with my Email and stated He will call me back and never return a call! When I call his direct number ************** several times there is no answer. Another fake telephone number for Symple Lending is **************. This business and **** seems like a scam company. Received a letter in the mail regarding a personal loan. I applied through their website and almost immediately received a text telling me they had my loan amount and rate ready. I texted back and forth for a little bit regarding the required phone call as I was in a work meeting and couldnt speak at the time. When I followed up today (the next day) via phone the man I spoke with told me they actually began marketing a little too early and are not actually licensed to lend in Washington yet, but theyre hoping to be this coming Monday. This is in direct opposition to the text that told me they had my loan amount and rate ready. It is misleading, untruthful and a shady business practice. Based on this alone I would never do business with this company. If that were actually the case the text should have indicated the same information, and not that they had my rate and loan amount ready, along with the emails telling me my pre approved loan amount offer expires today.Business Response

This company is unrelenting in robo calling me non-stop. It is an evasive violation of my privacy. I have requested multiple times by phone and in wiring asking them to stop calling me. Still, they continue to all me despite the fact that my phone number is on the national do not call list.Business Response

We are in receipt of your complaint related to Robocalls you have received under our company name. We would like to assure you that we have not made any robocalls to your number or any number. To be clear, none of our numbers are outgoing phone numbers and therefore could not have made the calls to you. We are aware that our numbers have been spoofed by another company seeking to cause our company harm. As a result, we have taken swift action and filed complaints with the authorities including the FBI. We have also hired a private company to track down the wrong doers so that they may be criminally prosecuted for their actions.
We are genuinely sorry that you have gotten caught up in this vicious attack on us. We have deactivated any numbers affected so you should not be receiving any more of these calls.. Our CEO is happy to personally speak with you regarding this issue if you have any questions.

I received a pre-approved offer for personal loan up to:$50,000. I have been te receiving the same offer in the mail for a few months now. The offer has 30 day expiration date on it. I finally went to their website, to validate their legitimacy. Initially, I typed simpleloan.com and was talked to a parked domain. Anyhow, after reading their Truspilot reviews, I used their invitation code online. They text me right away, and then, they called me. I spoke to **** with British accent. He asked me my year of birth and my ss number. I told him, I was skeptical, but he raised his voice a little. Trusting the reviews I gave him the info. Because he told me, if I am not approved, theyll delete my info. He gave me a 949 area code number, and told me hes call back from that number. Two hours later, there is no call. Initially, **** told me it wont affect my score, if they run my credit. After getting my info, he told me it would affect my credit score, just a little bit. I hope I made the right decision, by sharing my info with these people. Usually, lending companies would give you their decision within minutes.Business Response

Upon a thorough review of your internal file, our team member; **** didn't mention that the prospect's credit would take a hard hit. We had an internal system maintenance that day which caused the delay of the application status. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Our Customer Experience Manager tried to reach out to the prospect so that we can finish the application. It should be noted as well that Symple Lending takes the highest priority when it comes to personal information.

Deceptive marketing and shady business practices. A typical bait and switch to try and get the consumer to enter into a debt settlement program. I received a letter in the mail that was made to look like it was an official government document stating there was a pre approved personal loan for economic relief to help me. Well it turns out to be a private company that handles debt settlement. I spoke with ***************** who really tried to sell me into the debt settlement program and he conveniently did not mention how my accounts would all go into collections as part of the debt settlement. They grab your attention with a low interest loan offer in the mail and then try to trick you into a debt settlement. Avoid this company and especially *****************.Business Response

It is crucial to keep in mind that the pre-approval in the mailer is only based on limited credit reporting information and any actual approval considers additional qualifying information that is collected from the conversation you will have with our loan officer. The mailer that we sent out does disclose that all loans are subject to credit review and approval.

This company has very deceptive business practices. First, they send a mailer in the form of a government style check stating economic relief, which is very misleading. Second, they state that they are a lender when they are actually a third party that matches you with actual lenders. Third, they ask for very sensitive information over the phone, including but not limited to SSN. Im very concerned about where my information has went to and who has access. Fourth, they assume customers are not aware of how credit works. The salesman didnt offer any loans but instead offered a debt modification program explaining that another company would close my accounts and negotiate a balance with the creditors that I would then pay to the new company. Stating that this would save me money and raise my credit. This is essentially a debt collector in disguise. And mind you I have 100% payment history and 0 collections. When I declined this program they continued to ask if I could pay extra money towards the debt in order to qualify. Which I find insulting to ask as a company posing as economic relief because if I had extra money to spend I wouldnt be looking for assistance. Overall, this predatory company is misleading consumers and preying on people going through financial troubles in a struggling economy.Business Response

The response does not address any of the concerns I have mentioned. The mailer is deceptive. It should not be sent in the form of a government check to mislead consumers into believing this company is affiliated with the federal government seeing as it is not. Also, your company is not in fact providing economic relief as stated on the mailer. Finally, Symple Lending is a third party company and doesnt provide direct lending which should be stated. Now I am receiving communications from other companies that were not disclosed.
