My mother signed up for the Pallisades Protection Group insurance thinking it was part of her homeowners insurance. I have been trying to cancel it for her over the phone and have gotten the run around. I called on:1) 11/29/2022 I was told I had to talk to ******, who never called me back within the stated 24 hours timeline.2) 12/2/2022 I waited 10 minutes for a customer service representative to answer before I hung up because I had to take my mother to one of her many doctor ************* She is 88 years old and suffers from dementia.3) 12/5/2022 I talked to **** who could not connect me to the proper department to cancel the insurance. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience, however the cancellation process does take time to process through our administrator and then issue the refund. I am writing as a representative for my aunt *********************************, who has become ill in the last 5 months. She has been diagnosed with vascular dementia. A charge appeared on her credit card in Feb of 2022 for about $281.When i asked it what it was for she did not remember. Efforts to contact the vendor to obtain information about the charge have been futile. I had asked for a copy of the policy to be sent to her address and that has never been done. Next I tried calling to cancel the Policy and the representative told me someone would be calling back. Did not happen. Only now that we have disputed and stopped payment has anyone tried to call back.All number are not traceable and no reference is made to Palisades. Despite requesting multiple times to be removed from this mailing list, I continue to get solicitations from Palisade protection group. I just cried tried calling the 800 number ***********), and was told if you have called before, do not continue to call. This is a sales line, with every phone call, they think you are interested and you will continue to receive these mailed solicitations. I am not interested and hope you can get this company to cease and desist.Business Response

I was contacted by mail saying that my warranty was due to expire it had a date that I needed to contact and I did I told them thought I had a warranty they said you do but it's expiring so you need to extended to a different plan these people pretending like they were from the dealership which I had just purchased the vehicle they gave me different plans I looked into which one I wanted they told me if I didn't want it I was able to cancel it's been two and a half three weeks my car started acting up I called my dealership during that call my dealership told me that my warranty never expired and that I needed to cancel that warranty when I called the people were rude disrespectful I called my banking institution stop payment on my accounts the palisade protection group wouldn't cancel the warranty I put a recorder on my phone I called back the next day he said it was canceled during that call I told them that they were fraudulent and that they were wrong I have him in a recording saying that we already got you I don't know how these people are in business. I feel like these people now have all my information from mailing to everything I put on in purchasing my vehicle who knows what else they're going to do.Business Response

Customer MUST submit refund request IN WRITING in accordance with the terms of the Contract which requires specific information to be provided in order to process the refund. If customer refers to his contract booklet, the information necessary is provided therein. Customer should send a letter to the address listed in his contract to initiate his refund request. I recognized this was a scam literally 30 seconds after giving them my credit card on October 17th 2022. I paid them $295 and they said they would charge me an additional 2 hundred and something dollars a month. I asked them what company they were with and told them I made a mistake. I didn't mean to go with them. They told me it was too late. I checked my bank account and the money had already been taken out. I talked to a representative, She said her name was *********************, and she told me I had 30 days to cancel. She gave me the number to call to cancel **************. I have not been able to get a hold of that number. I had to cancel my entire card.Business Response

You guys keeping calling my mother-in-law (who is 90) and doesnt understand anything anymore about payment. She paid you over $300 dollars thinking it had to do with her actual homeowners insurance. We have since stopped her from answering the phone, so please quit calling her. She doesnt want the coverage or anything to do with you.Business Response

I received in the mail today 10/7/22 a FINAL Notification letter from Palisade Protection Group from CA that my husband ******* has to contact them to renew the home warranty for ************, that is all the address shown. We do not own property in CA so obviously that is wrong and we have never heard of this company. I will upload a copy of t he letter I received. It must be some sort of scam they are trying to pull to get personal information or money from people, who knows. I want to know is this an actual address? I need to find out if someone could be using my husband's personal information as well. I would this company tp answer my questions and correct this mistake.Business Response

I do not accept their response the letter was sent to our address in AZ we had never heard of that company and how did they get my address? The address appears to be in ********************* when I did a search on ******* I thought it was in ** since the company is located in *********, ** and that is what the letter shows the ** address.Business Response
