I am an elderly man who has always been very responsible with my bills. I received a threatening letter in the mail saying I needed to CALL IMMEDIATELY, not realizing that this is marketing from a company that I've never done business with. I called and gave them my card number, not realizing that I was ordering a new service and not realizing that they would be charging my card. When I received notification from my bank that a $100 charge was processing, I immediately tried to call to cancel. There is no one there - just an immediate answering machine. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford this. l need this canceled immediately. I don't even drive anymore. It is a terrible business practice to prey on the elderly who feel vulnerable.Business Response

Contacted today after several mail in promotions. The deal seemed quite appealing offering a 199.00$ off from the policy. Offering only a 100$ down payment. I do NOT need an extended warranty upon further review, and would like to request my down deposit back. As well as a refund of my 100$ down deposit which was promised per the 30-day policy. Additionally, I was told that calling back would be considered fraudulent per the policy. After attempting to contact customer care which is an AI generated stonewall I am still awaiting solid confirmation on a cancellation.This company is unfortunately a phishing/scam company which is seeks to extort out funds. I would like my records to be taken off their list, as well as my 100$ deposit refunded and NO further charges made on my bank account.Business Response

I had a phone call with the Auto Renewal Center on 7/24/25 and they gave me a quote on car warranty for my 2014 ***** Civic. Wasnt too sure about it so I put down $100 to secure a spot as they said I would not be able to call back later for preventive fraud purposes. Did some research and concluded they are a scam phishing company and called them multiple times before I got a response from corporate. I told them I did not want to follow through with the policy and the speaker was incredibly rude, stated lied about issues that my car may have, and when I stood my ground and said to cancel the policy he said fine he will cancel it and thanked me for wasting their time. Anyways, he did not retrieve any actual information from me to ensure that my policy was canceled and no charges would be made on my card, so I am requesting a FULL REFUND for my $100 and to be taken off their list. Ive already made my bank aware that any transaction through them are unauthorized moving forward and they stated if I do not get my refund and card information removed they will be filling a dispute and I should speak with the police on filing a fraud claim against the company.Business Response

we bought warranty for our car 08-08-2023 .paid it off on 02-24-2024. So we have never used the warranty until May of 2025 we tried calling them and the car dealer also tried calling the company and we got no response at all . all we could do is leave messages but no response from them at all. We also found out they put our Vin # for our car wrong .We feel we have been scammed by this company and we are trying to get some help .The agent who got us this warranty told me we would be fully covered for 5 yrs or ******* miles his name was ****** he is not even answering the phone he gave me it is saying the number you have dialed is allogated .We paid this company Auto Renewal Center $3936.06 and also the $100.00 dollars they ask for in the beginning and never got to use our warranty .So I am hoping BBB CAN HELP USBusiness Response

I have been trying to cancel my policy for months getting no where. Every time I call i get jerked around everyone saying they can't help and they will transfer me to someone who will and that they will call back and never once gotten a call back. I am writing to formally request the immediate cancellation of the extended warranty contract associated with my 2025 Nissan Rogue and a full refund of all payments made.When I was contacted by your representative, on 05/12/2025. I was led to believe that the extended warranty was offered through my dealership. At no point was I informed that this agreement involved a separate loan or financing arrangement. This company is a scam. They called to tell me that I only had powertrain insurance and needed to upgrade to bumper to bumper coverage. Even though at the time of purchase I remember upgrading to bumper to bumper insurance already. I was ignorant and got scared because they said something was about to go wrong with my truck and needed to pay $100 down for coverage. He then told me I had 30 days to compare plans and cancel. I called where I bought my truck from and was told I already had bumper to bumper coverage. I was told that this was not directly **** who sold me this extra coverage and that I needed to cancel. The last representative said I was not allowed a refund even though I called back within 20 minutes.Business Response
