    This company is selling my personal information on their website without my knowledge. When I request to remove my personal information from their database, the company requires an uploaded image of my government-issued ID. Uploading the full image of my government-issued ID means they have even more important personal identity information about me. This image will further increase my risk for identity theft. I want this company to unconditionally totally remove all my personal information from their database and keep my personal information off their database permanently. Furthermore, I am a stalking survivor and continuously publishing innocent victims' information online IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. I WANT MY INFORMATION REMOVED FOR SAFETY REASONS.

    I was taken to this site by ************* about my info being sold by this company and i would like them to stop but after finding my information it asks me for my ID, if they already with out my knowledge are selling my info the last thing i want to do is give them more PPI for them to sell. I would like my info removed from the site and I have highlighted on the one that is my on the uploaded screen shots. I want my info removed from the company and do not authorize them to have any of my personal data.

    My personal data is on this site and they require my to upload a government ID to request removal. This means they have access to even more information and discourages people from protecting the existing information. Id like to have my information removed immediately without having to upload a government ID.

    This company is selling my personal information on its website without my consent. When I asked them to remove it, they required a copy of my government-issued Driver's Licence. Giving them this is like giving a burger your address. I want Background Alert to remove all my personal information from its database and keep it off ...without a copy of my DL.

    This business said they would remove my info without my DL, but what happens when it reappears, or why should others be required to provide this *** document? To my knowledge they continue to use this business practice.

    This company has my information available to their paid customers. In order for me to remove my information on line, this company requires to submit my identity i.e. Drivers license. I should not have to expose my PII information to an external party just to have my personal information removed from their opt out. I request that they remove it now without further requiring me to submit my additional personal identity information.

    ************************** is selling my personal information and I want it removed from their database. Their request to prove my identity by giving them additional identifying information (my uploaded ID) is not reasonable - I am opting out as I do not want my PERSONAL AND PRIVATE information used by them in any way nor sold to anyone! Similar sites only require one to provide and verify an email and my information is scrubbed. I want all of my information removed from Background Alert site, including all public and for-profit databases, and those of their affiliates. I want this to be permanent. Thank You

    I'm having the same issue with Backgroundalert selling my information as well. How can I resolve this to have MY info removed from them as well?

    I attempted to opt out of sharing my personal information, but this business requires the onerous condition of supplying a photocopy of my license/ID. This is a ridiculous requirement and not required by other data brokers/businesses. This is just an attempt to gather additional information to then be sold by this business. I request that my opt out request be acted upon without the requirement of a photocopy of my ID.

    I requested Background Alert opt out my information from sharing and selling and to delete all my information. They sent me a code to access site. But when accessing the site Background alert requested I share photo ID before they will process my request. I will not provide further personal information to this organization so they can have more data to sell and share. I Request they immediately stop sharing and selling my information and I request they DELETE all my data.
