    Background alert is requiring a photocopy of my drivers liscense to opt out of their public and for-profit databases and to have my information removed from their site. I do not wish to share information that could risk identity theft with them. Other similar sites only require you to provide an email address that you can verify. I also attempted to remove their information through my life-lock subscription but was unsuccessful.I want all of my information removed from their site including all public and for-profit databases, and those of their affiliates to prevent further identity theft to me. Thank you.

    My personal information is on their website as well as my sons and husband. I am requesting all information be opt out and removed including my husband ******* under this address provided. I dont feel comfortable or my husband or son with providing a photo id.

    I was trying to remove my information opt out from their website site and they are asking for a photo id. I dont feel comfortable giving out a photo id. They have my information on there and I need to give them information to remove it. Thats not how it should work. I am requesting this company remove my information from their website.

    I attempted to have my background information removed from the Background Alert site today but they are requesting that I send a copy of my ID. I am not comfortable providing this level of content. Most other sites only required an email address to confirm identity and request to remove. Have there been other instances of this? Can you recommend means to remedy this?

    I recently received a notification from Norton 360 informing me that ************************** is selling my personal information for profit. They are asking me to submit a photo ID in order to opt out. I am not comfortable providing more personal information to a company that has already violated my privacy rights. I want all my information removed from their website, as well as from all public and for-profit databases, including those of their affiliates.

    ****** identified that my identity is posted online by "background alert", upon requesting removal of my information on **************************, the site asks me to provide my photo ID. I did not consent to ************************** to obtain my information, to display my information in public, or for sale. Background Alert is requiring a photo ID to opt out of their public and for-profit databases and to have my information removed from their site. I do not feel comfortable sharing more personal information with them. Other similar sites only require you to provide an email address that you can verify. I want all of my information removed from their site including all public and for-profit databases, and those of their affiliates. I further want a full report of what information *********************************** has on me prior to the removal. I request for a deletion of my personal identifiable information on its site and affiliates. Thank you.

    To opt out of their public and for-profit databases and to have my information removed from their site, an ID is required, which I do not feel comfortable providing. Other sites allow opt outs with only basic info and an email address. I would like to have my information removed from their databases ASAP

    I was notified by ******** LifeLock that Background Alert has my address and perhaps other information from an unknown source, but they will not remove it unless I provide them with a copy of my valid driver's license or passport. Since I have already be the victim of numerous data breaches due to carelessness on the part of data brokers - including the latest *** breach - I refuse to give this company, with which I have no association, more information about me with no guarantee it will not also be breached. There is no valid reason for this firm to request additional information when removals are commonplace amongst other data brokers. I want all of my information removed immediately.
