    I just found out through my Norton Computer Privacy Security that my personal information is being sold in the "PEOPLEWHIZ" web site, I tried to have it removed online but is asking for my personal ID and do not feel safe giving out this information, but want to have my information removed immediately and not to be sold again, I feel extremely uncomfortable forwarding such information to a any company much less one such as peoplwhiz

    This business requires an ID to be uploaded in order to remove personal information online. If I wanted them to have my information, I wouldnt have requested it to be removed in the first place. Now they want a copy of my ID? Supposedly, to confirm that they are deleting the right person, yet nobody wants their information held by brokers online. I cant think of a single person who would complain that their listing was accidentally removed. Moreover, uploading a personal ID is not safe and goes against common sense.

    Peoplewhiz stole/scraped my private information and is selling it without my permission. When asking to remove it on their website, they require a photo of my ID to have this removed... so they can steal even more???? How exactly is this legal and how do we go about pressing charges?

    I want to remove my personal data from the PeopleWhiz site and they are requesting a copy of my ID. I will not send a copy of my ID to a random company who is already selling my information.

    Peoplewhiz.com is sending notifications that are completely untrue stating that they have new criminal records on me which is impossible since i have not been in any trouble for 15 years. I have asked them to remove me completely from their data base and they not only havent removed me but keep sending new notifications full of lies about me making me look like i have been doing bad things i have not been doing. It is all completely false!!

    My household has been the victim of identify theft multiple times, and was dismayed to learn that Peoplewhiz is offering my personal information without my approval and in order to remove my data, they require I upload additional sensitive data (drivers ID) instead of simply removing it. I am concerned about privacy and the misuse of my information for fraud. My identity theft monitoring services is identifying PeopleWhiz and their related properites as exposing my personal information on the web. Along with prior data breaches from other commercial companies on the dark web, this personal information is providing the ability for additional identity theft.

    PeopleWhiz.com Contains personal information for sale on a database I did not sign up for or authorize. While it is publicly aggregated data, it presents a danger for me due to past events in my life. Instead of making it simple and easy to have a record remove, like the other unscrupulous sites that do this sort of thing, PeopleWhiz is requesting additional personal information (valid ID verification) to remove my personal information. This reeks of unethical, scam-like behavior. They should not be allowed to hold my personal information hostage, in exchange for even more valuable personal information - an authentic copy of an ID. I simply want them to completely remove my record/profile/information and those of the records they connected to me, from their site completely.
