    I am attempting to get my name removed from People Whiz, a data base that searches public records. People Whiz wants me to upload my photo ID just to remove my name from their database, even though I can provide all details necessary to identify myself. I am not comfortable providing them my ID because I do not trust that they will not use it to further place my identity at risk online. I want my name removed from their database immediately.

    Today, Friday September 8th 2023, I paid my $27.99 for a one month subscription from PeopleWhiz.com for information on a person wanted for ****. They ran the reports for several minutes. The report runs and I open it up and it has very very very almost nothing on this guy on this report; then a screen pops up asking for almost another $20 for the Professional version that will have all the information. I paid for ALL the information the first time not just some of it.I immediately asked for a refund; and told them I would be contacting the BBB and the Attorney General to get my money back and to add a warning to that site as a scam site. www.PeopleWhiz.com is the site that baits you. Then the switch to an additional $19.99 for what you already paid for; it could have gone on and on. Headed to Attorney General to file a complaint now.

    I attempted to remove my information through the peoplwwhiz.com website, however, it wants me to provide an ID to them. I am not conducting business with this company and am uncomfortable providing any entity my ID that I am not using by choice. I want my information removed from this company

    I found out through a credit monitoring site that my information is on peoplewhiz and their related sites. I tried to request removal from their database, but I was asked to provide a copy of my identification card. I do not want to provide them with more information in order to have the information they already have removed.

    I want my information removed from their site, but like everyone else on BBB I too am being asked to send in personal identification to them to get MY info removed. No other personal data site requires this. I am not sending to them more personal information about myself so they can sell it or exploit in some other way. It's so depressing that this is how these businesses run themselves that I have to waste time online doing this. Anyways, I'd like my personal info scrubbed from their site. Please do humanity a favor and, like every other similar site, don't try and scam people out of their personal info.

    I want to opt-out of my personally identifiable information appearing on peoplewhiz.com Peoplewhiz is requiring a valid ID to complete the process. This is counterintuitive. Why would I give them more information to remove existing information? This seems sketchy to me. I want all of my PII removed without submitting a valid ID.

    I was alerted to the fact that my personal information is available on peoplewhiz.com. I want to have my information removed. I can confirm its my information - However, they want me to provide an ID. I am not comfortable with providing an ID to a company that I am not familiar with and have not approached on my own. I sincerely hope they can remove my personal information without asking me for more confidential information like my ID card. Thanks

    **** website has obtained my information without my approval and from unknown / untrusted sources. I have tried to go to thier website to remove my data and they want my digital id again to remove. They did not do any verification to show that this information was valid or mine and yet are allowing people to search. I will not give them additional details via a ID. This data is not being removed.
