  I keep trying to get my name removed from People Whiz, but they demand my driver's license to do so. They've already disrupted my life by publicizing my information, and I don't want to enable them to ruin it even more. Their opt-out process offers no way to remove my info without this additional risk. What can I do to stop them without giving them more ways to damage my life?

  I have tried to remove my personal information from PeopleWhiz.com and its affiliated websites but they are forcing me to provide a copy of my ID. I would not like any more of my information out there - so I don't understand why this is a requirement. Please assist with this issue because I believe this is a gross violation of my privacy rights.

  On 9/28/2023, I discovered that my name (and other personal information) appeared on the company website called peoplewhiz.com. I never heard of this company until recently, in which I did not authorize this organization any permission to obtain, review, and/or share my personal information. Although I attempted to remove my information through the peoplwwhiz.com website, the website prompts me to submit a valid and unexpired identification. Considering the fact that I am not conducting business with this company and never authorized them to have my information, I am very uncomfortable providing any form of personal identification (i.e. Drivers License, etc.) to the company solely for the purpose of having them remove my personal information from their system/database. Therefore, I want my personal information permanently removed from this companys website. Also, I would like to know how this company obtained my information in the first place. Is there a particular governmental agency I can contact for the purpose of filing a formal complaint?

  Contacted this company through the BBB back in July and they agreed to remove my information if I sent a screen shot of the listing. I sent a screen shot and they still have not removed the listing with my information.

  I want all of my info removed from this site but they require a drivers license. I do not want to give them this. I want my info removed.

  My issue is that PeopleWhiz.com claims to have access to my personal information, including my family's names, address, and supposedly claims that I have criminal records and "shocking information" available to view. However, when I tried to cancel with them, they asked me to provide an ID. I did, however, I am now concerned that they will further use that info to release my information. For the record, I have no criminal history. They are trying to scam people into buying a report on themselves. I for one, would like to speak to PeopleWhiz and see what they have posted about me and be able to remove all information indefinitely, especially addresses. This entire site feels like a huge scam to scare people or may be entirely malicious.

  Sept. 11, 2023. I searched myself, and the information was no where even close to my information. So then I searched my husband, which once again came up with information that wasnt even his. The same day, I called to have my money refunded and I was told that it was no problem. I never received a credit.I just called and got a customer service rep who told me no way would I get a refund. He was the rudest kid I have ever talked to. He wouldnt answer any of my questions and kept talking over me. Obviously, it was not resolved.
