    My security software alerted me to my information being available at a site called PeopleWhiz (www.peoplewhiz.com/). To get my name off the site, I have to provide them with an email address and upload a piece of identification. I am ABSOLUTELY not comfortable sending in a picture of my driver's license to a place that is selling my info online.

    This company has my information. I requested the information to be removed per correct processes; yet this company wants me to fax, mail or email my identification. I should not have to provide my personal information to request a company that I have never done business with to remove my name, address and any other info they have collected of mine without my approval. In order to get to the next screen it attempts to make you provide you id for them to remove your info. Almost Finished: You must mail us a copy of your ID Once we received your ID, we will verify that your id matches the name of the listing you are trying to remove.     I have the same complaint as many complainants - they offer me an opt out option but require a copy of my ID (in my case a driver's license). Giving someone additional info that already sells my info to criminals seems ridiculous. All the other data brokers sent me an email with a link to verify my identity.

    I received an alert through Norton 360 that this company was sharing my personal information through data broker websites. I attempted to request my personal data be deleted and not be sold; but could not move forward in the process because I refuse to fax, upload, or email my active and current identification. I refuse to provide additional personal information to this predatory business.

    This company/website requires the submission of a photo ID in order to remove your personal information from their database/records. Other websites I have removed my personal information from have not required this type of sensitive information. I am not comfortable providing sensitive information such as my Driver's License to a company/website I am already trying to remove personal information from.

    Norton Lifelock ID Navigator informed me that my personal data is for sale on PeopleWhiz. On the PeopleWhiz website, I initiated a request that my data be removed, but in order to proceed, PeopleWhiz requires me to upload my ID/driver license, which I do not wish to provide.     Experian informed me that my personal data is for sale on PeopleWhiz.     I chose the opt out feature through my McAfee protection and I sent my info. Now my name is popping up on all these different data broker sites. I am very concerned this was a scam.
