      I always have a horrible customer service experience with this **********************. I have reached out to corporate on multiple occasions but nothing ever changes the service is horrible every single time.

      Been trying to pick up the unit i won at auction and nobody is been able to help. Im here for 3 hours calling them and waiting for the manager to call back. Also they keep saying im not at the right location. This is the only one at 2046. They also dont have a unit number 2005 which is supposed to be the one i won.

      Professional Organizers Warning: Devastating Rodent Infestation Do Not Rent Here As a professional organizer, I take every precaution to protect my clients belongings. I stored items in sealed containers, wrapped in clear protective film, and still suffered catastrophic damage. Rats urinated on the wrapping, chewed through appliance wires, and destroyed furniture. I lost nearly $10,000 in propertyincluding a washer and dryerbecause this facility is infested and structurally compromised.When I opened my unit, I found two large dead rats, the stench of feces, and visible contamination throughout. The foundation is unsealed, and the building was clearly thrown up quickly without proper pest control. The insurance they offer? It doesnt cover rodent damage. I received only $250 for thousands in losses.They moved me to another unit near the elevator, farther from the exterior wallbut even there, rat f**** were present. At night, you could hear them running through the units. I had no choice but to move out. The staff offered no meaningful assistance, just a quick relocation and silence.Pleasedont put down a deposit. Dont fall for the snacks in the lobby or the polished sales pitch. Walk the facility yourself. Smell the air. Look down. Look up. This place is a health hazard, and the city needs to intervene.Go to U-Haul or any reputable alternative. This facility is a rat trapliterally.

      I will give it to the staff they are pleasant for the most part. The fees are a joke. I haven't even been in my unit four months and it has gone up $80. This is a scam and absolutely insane. The reasoning they claim is that the rental market goes up and they are in high demand. There are open units and a Public Storage ever two blocks so they are actually just robbing people. I would never refer anyone to this place any location as it is a rip off.

      Beware, before even you try to book any storage with this business. They will scam you with lots of hidden charges and extremely unprofessional. Here is my story. I had few extra boxes that I wanted to keep in a small storage unit at public storage about 2 blocks from my place. I booked online on 30 July and scheduled to move on 31st. I was overcharged and there was hidden fees that they would never disclose up front. I called and left several messages but no one called me back. I tried to chat with them online, six times that chat agent hung up. There is no way to cancel the order. You can download their app and you can only move in or move out with the app. How one can move out when he/she has not moved in yet. Then I called and with extreme difficulty tried to cancel the order and the agent was extremely rude and declined to issue a refund that they charges over $116 and she hung up. I called twice and after lots of persuasion they agreed to provide a partial refund. They did not even do that for over a week and when I called they did not refund the full amount.I booked online, never moved in and yet they charged me money. Extremely unprofessional business.

      If i could give 0 stars I would. **************** is terrible and they constantly raise your rate and not just by a little. The staff is miserable and never stay for long. That alone apeaks volumes about this company. Go anywhere but here!

      Worst experience ever! I rented a 10 x 20 unit there with 2 doors. From the first day, one of the doors wouldn't work. I was told to use the other one. Two months after I rented the unit, there was a huge rent increase. I couldn't access my storage unit most of the winter as there was a downspout above my door and I had thick ice in front of my door. I couldn't use the other door because it was broken. I was told it was my job to clean it or I could use the other door (umm..the broken one?). I decided to move units to a unit without a downspout near it. I rented the unit online and when I went to see the unit, a 1/3 of the floor space was taken up my a metal housing/duct work. It was advertised as a 10 x 20 but was not that size due to that being in the unit. When I said it wouldn't work for me, I was told I would be refunded except for the $29 admin fee. I stated that was not fair as they falsely advertised the unit. I was told I would not be given that money back and that a check had been mailed to me. No one tried to work with me to rectify the situation. Due to that experience, I decided to move to another facility. When I gave my notice on my original unit, then all of a sudden they wanted to know what they could do to keep my business. I ended up receiving the refund for the second unit onto my card (not a check like they stated had already been mailed) and not only did it not have the $29 admin fee they also shorted me another $5 for no reason. They are liars, falsely advertise units, and have no customer service whatsoever. Stay far away from Public Storage!!!

      Public storage falsely advertising $1 for the first month. Which is not true there are additional fees not displayed. The unit price change every month. Without proper notice. As well as late fees. Customers are frequently changing units due to price changes increases. And I noticed unfortunately many pieces of property sadly had to be thrown away by many customers..There customers service representative via; telephone was unhelpful and refused to transfer me to someone who can.. After 1st day late that begins late fees..which will increase every few days without no grace ******* This is not a customer happy ********************

      Summary of Issue:Public Storage has increased my monthly rent three times in less than a year without providing any notice or communication.Details:I originally rented my storage unit at $128 per month. Since September 13, 2024, my rent has increased as follows:$128 ? $167: 30.5% increase $167 ? $193: 15.6% increase Overall increase: 50.8%These increases happened without any written or verbal notice. I received zero communication before each rent hike.Why Im Filing This Complaint:Public Storages repeated, unannounced increases feel unfair and unethical.I was not given the opportunity to make an informed decision, move my belongings, or prepare financially.This pattern of behavior seems designed to trap long-term customers into paying inflated rates
