I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing matter regarding the payroll services Bambee provides to *****************. While Bambee has been our trusted provider for payroll processing, tax filing, and associated services, a discrepancy has arisen that requires immediate resolution. Towards the end of June 2024, I received a bill from the ***************************** indicating that ***************** allegedly owes additional payroll taxes. Concerned by this notification, on June 24, 2024, I attempted to address the issue via phone with Bambee only to be diverted to their online support portal. Therefore, I reached out to Bambee via their online support portal. Unfortunately, my initial outreach did not yield a response. In an effort to escalate this matter, I reached out to multiple departments within Bambee in the days following my initial contact. I finally received acknowledgement from a Customer Support Specialist on July 2, 2024, who assured me that my concern would be forwarded to the appropriate team. After further delay, I received contact from the ****************** on July 8, 2024. In response, I provided a copy of the bill from the ***************************** on July 9, 2024, as requested. Despite my follow-ups on July 11, 2024 and again on July 15, 2024, I have yet to receive a substantive update or resolution regarding this matter. The lack of clear communication and timely resolution from Bambee could place ***************** in a potentially compromised position with the *****************************.Initial Complaint

I was a previous client of this company. The services were not very good, so I cancelled my contract in October of 2023 prior to the renewal of my **************, 9 months later, and not even near the original contract date, I have been charged 2408. This company has failed on numerous occasions to provide the services for which it was contracted. It also failed to respond to my myriad of emails over the past year requesting assistance and remediation. The company has twice paid the wrong employee, has missed payroll, and has failed to respond to time-sensitive HR issues. Bambee replaces staff assigned to my account without notice, does not pay state-mandated payroll tax on time, and fails to file reports on a professional manner.Initial Complaint

I have consistently tried to log on to the Bambee website to cancel my subscription that I am actively being charged for, but am not using. I have tried a desktop and mobile device. The webpage just spins and asks me to sign up for a 7 day free trial. When reaching out via telephone the phone goes to voicemail. No one has returned my messages. Also, they have not corresponded through email for me to set up an appointment. There has been no way for me to reach a representative of the company to cancel services.Initial Complaint

Taxes 2023 I live in **. NJ taxes were incorrectly taken from my payroll for 2023. For me not to have to file these taxes for NJ you would need to amend the W2 for 2023. Bambee provided HR service for my previous employer, where I worked until February, 2023, before the company dissolved. It is now April 2024, and Bambee still has not provided me or any of my ex-colleagues with W2 forms for tax return yet. Bambee advertises and promises live support from "HR expert" 7am-4pm PT (see bottom of ***************************************), but while that has worked before February 2023, recently they changed their phone directory system such that all calls lead to either a dead end or a voicemail that they say "is not monitored". My ex-colleagues and I have all emailed repetitively for weeks but received no response. None of our logins work so we cannot check online directly for our W2s. I even reached out to Bambee on social media only to see my comment on their post getting immediately removed. It is now post tax return deadline and Bambee has caused serious harm for not supplying W2s or responding to our contacts. We'd like a resolution via immediate response from Bambee so that they can provide our belated W2s as soon as possible.Initial Complaint

We had been customers of ********************** HR for 3 years and had a great experience up until we decided to cancel our subscription and switch to another company that was simply more affordable for us. In cancelling the account, I had let the customer support team know that I needed access to the account through our end date of the subscription (3/9) so that I could have time to gather all of our current/former employee files to be transferred to the new system. We had paid for the entirety of our subscription period of 3/9/23-3/9/24 so I did not think I had to make them aware of this but I did anyways to be on the safe side. I had cancelled the account end of January and by the first week of February, our account had been closed and I was unable to access the files I needed. OUR files. I quickly reached out to the customer support *********** opened it back up within a day or so. Fast forward to 3/4, they had closed the account again. I was under the impression I had one more week to gather files, so there were still some left. I emailed customer service 4 times that week to re-open the account. I still have not received a response to any of my emails and it is 3/29. They had re-opened the account without responding to my emails and thankfully I had checked to see otherwise I would have had no idea! I find this to be very poor business practice, even if they did not like my emails. They also charged us $6.99, again without informing us or responding to my multiple emails, for what I am assuming is for re-opening the account. Even though it was closed the entire last week of our subscription. I was able to gather the remainder of my files but I had to do it all in one day as I did not know when the account would close again. I am coming on here to request a full refund for our subscription year of 3/9/23-3/9/24 AND the ***** $6.99 we were charged. I find Bambee HR to be extremely unprofessional this was a very frustrating experience for something they assured would be easy.Initial Complaint

November-December 2022: I get set up with Bambee for my small business to handle onboarding new employees for $99/mo End of December 2022-January 2023: I add payroll services provided by Bambee for an additional $299/mo bringing my monthly bill to $399/mo January 2023-June 2023: Bambee provides payroll service as promised June 2023: I call my Bambee representative and tell them I no longer have a need for employees and do not need payroll services.June 2023-Janurary 2024: Bambee continues to charge the additional payroll fee of $299 per month.January 2024: I talk with my Bambee representative again and they say they will work on getting me a partial refund. (I get refunded $500).March 2024: I find out they never generated W2s for my former employees, even though I was explicitly told that former employees will be able to log in and retrieve those documents with no issue.March 2024: I am told by Bambee I will have to generate W2s on my own because at the beginning of August 2023 Bambee presumed I hired another payroll service.THE BIG QUESTION: If Bambee ASSUMED I hired another payroll service, why did Bambee continue to charge me an extra $299 per month for payroll services? We are a non-profit organization and long term client of Bambee. Due to our growth we had to make the decision to move to a new system to better support our org. As a long term customer with ********************** their support while rolling off has been extremely disappointing. In December of 2023, we notified Bambee that we would be migrating from their system to another and requested guidance on next steps for pulling our historical data and documents. The platform provides no reporting feature or download feature for customers, so having their guidance was required. The company has 100% ignored any communications and outreach in regards to a rolloff process. We've been unable to receive a simple acknowledgment, response and/or guidance from the Bambee team on how we can pull our company data and documents from the system. We have sent countless emails since December and made several phone calls. Now we no longer have access to our account and it has gotten to the point where the lack of response is egregious and represents poor business practices. ** is a sensitive area for companies and the lack of attention to this doesn't represent a product that provides a safe and confidential service for clients.We would like a resolution to this situation ****.Initial Complaint

We've called and emailed for over a year trying to get our W2 for employees. We've not received a single response from the company since cancelling our membership.
