1 starI started receiving a subscription at my address that has someone elses name on it. I contacted *** who said Subco initiated this subscription. I think that this is fraud. Im wondering if theres a way this person who used my address can use the online bill somehow to get some other sort of compensation similar to identity theft. *** said that the subscription was suspended but I want my address removed from their database. I do not receive subscriptions and this should not be allowed to happen.Subco

Our records indicate that the subscription to SOUTHERN LIVING magazine(s), were successfully cancelled on, 11/16/2023. (Confirmation No. #*******). Due to publisher labeling procedures you can expect to receive a few more issues of the magazine before the delivery discontinues.Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused. Often times when an address is invalid, the **** system may default to an address that matches close as possible.

1 starAs seems to be the trend, I have been receiving a subscription to ******************** that I never ordered. I was advised that the subscription was initiated by SUBCO. Numerous attempts to call SUBCO during their listed business hours always gives me a recording that the business is closed. The hours listed in their recording are different than what is listed in their website.Subco

Subco is a magazine clearinghouse that fulfills and processes magazine subscriptions to publishers on behalf of 3rd party agencies. With that being said, Subco does not sell or solicit the sales of magazines or any other types of products. Therefore, our office does not handle or process any type of billing or payment processing. Publishers will direct customers to contact our office as we are responsible for cancellations, changes of address and assisting in identifying to the subscriber who the 3rd party is and where their order originated.

Upon attempting to cancel via the publisher, I was informed this company/********* were the entity(ies) responsible for creating the subscription and I must contact them to cancel. There is no way to cancel online and the company(ies) do not answer their phone during their published business hours.Subco

1 starI have been spammed by Elle magazines that I never ever ordered (I'm a man and have no interest in female fashion magazine). When I finally decided to put a stop to it, Elle's website said that the order was placed by SUBCO and that I would need to contact them. How can this be legal? This is a borderline identity theft. They have no right to use my personal info to place an order under my name and to my address. I hope someone will organize a class action lawsuit.Subco

Which led me to this site and company SUBCO. This is embarrassing, shameful, scam, there are no words to describe this type of actions. Please stop sending me this worthless stuff and stop wasting our precious time.Subco

1 starLet me add one more to the " magazine I did not order" list. A magazine came to my address where I have lived for nearly 30 years. It was addressed to someone I do not know and who has never lived here. It was a weird name I could not even find in a Google search. I contacted the magazine and they refered me to Subco. I'm not wasting any more time after reading these reviews. I'm not paying for this magazine if I am billed because I did not order it. This is a shady way to do business.Subco

5 starsI'd been trying to cancel a subscription to BHG for months my mother had. I contacted BHG and was told it they would cancel it in Sept 2022. Magazines kept coming. Finally in March 2023 was given the name of Subco to contact to see if the subscription had been through them.
Marlon Farris from Subco responded to my email and explained in detail that they were a magazine clearing house, do not initiate subscriptions or handle any billing and that the magazine was being sent as a Special Offer (for free) from another company hoping my mother would subscribe.
They were however able to cancel the subscription and also contacted the sales agency that the subscription was through to let them know the magazine was no longer wanted.
It was very frustrating to continue receiving the magazine when we thought it was cancelled in 2022. Marlon responded to my email promptly which was much appreciated.
I look forward to NOT seeing the magazine in my mailbox.Subco
