In June 2024, I began receiving ELLE magazine, which I never ordered. Thinking it was just a marketing thing from ELLE trying to get me to order, I ignored it. I just got a second issue and received a digital magazine in my email. Again I did not order this! When I went to ELLE magazines website and tried to cancel this subscription, I got a reply that said it was ordered through SUBCO in ********** and Id have to go through them to cancel. I have never heard of SUBCO, much less ordered a magazine subscription through them. I refuse to go to their website since I dont know the company. I refuse to give them any more of my private info or confirm the info they have since this could be a scam. I screenshotted the page that told me to go to them and mysteriously, since I didnt close out on my browser, without me doing anything, it suddenly said the subscription was cancelled/suspended. I wanna know if this is a scam and what to do if it happens again. Also, how to keep it from happening again.Business Response

I am receiving unsolicited magazine subscriptions from 3rd party companies of Subco and bPerx. I did not authorize magazine subscriptions of any kind and would like both companies to cease with this activity. Upon contacting Subco a representative did inform me that this subscription was a promotion. However, I still went through the process of cancelling such subscription.Business Response

I received a copy of a magazine through the mail that I did not subscribe to. I contacted the publishers circulation **** to find out more about how this happened. They said that the magazine had been subscribed to me by a third-party- Subco and that they would need to be contacted to cancel this subscription. I find it very intrusive and disturbing that a company could subscribe me to magazines without my consent!! Please have them stop sending magazines that I did not subscribe to and have them strike me from their mailing list and customer database. I have not done business with this company and do not wish to start. Thank You!Business Response
