    Dear Better Business Bureau. I am writing to file a formal complaint against VAVA and/or affiliates formed under or reorganized from the parent company, regarding their inadequate support for their Home Security system, affecting myself and numerous other customers who have invested in their camera systems.Over the past 30 days, I have made multiple attempts to reach out to VAVA concerning the lack of an app to support the camera and home station hardware, only to be informed that they will not be providing support for these products moving forward. This lack of commitment to their customers is highly disconcerting.Furthermore, there is an alarming uncertainty about the support for other VAVA camera products, including baby cams and dash cams. The company's refusal to stand behind their customers who have invested in their camera systems raises serious concerns about the longevity and reliability of their entire product line.In light of this situation, I believe there are two potential courses of action that VAVA should consider. Firstly, they should either commit to returning the investment of all affected customers or, secondly, take prompt measures to fix their app, ensuring the continued functionality of our camera systems.It is important to note that my attempts to seek assistance from Amazon, where some of my purchases were made, were unfruitful, as they cited a two-year timeframe since the original purchase. This lack of support from both the manufacturer and the retailer is unacceptable and calls for intervention.As a concerned consumer who has invested in a total of 20 cameras, purchased from various sources including ************* and directly from VAVA, I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention. I trust that the Better Business Bureau will investigate this issue thoroughly and take appropriate action to address the grievances of VAVA customers.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    I purchased their baby monitor Feb 2022 and in Jan 2023 I filed a claim with the warranty due to issues with the monitor and was sent a replacement for it. In November 2023 I noticed issues with the replacement unit that had been sent. In looking online, I found this same problem to be a very common issue of their product, having charging issues. My problem was that the unit is charging intermittently and occasionally I feel the unit and cord getting hot to the touch. It also powers off at random and resets entirely. I was not asking for a renewal on my warranty, but I did request some flexibility on resolving this issue with the monitor. This product is specifically designed for use in houses with small children and issues with electricity is certainly a safety problem in this instance. The company said that because the warranty had passed there was nothing they could do. They offered a coupon for $15 off a new monitor that costs $120. This felt as if they are pushing another bad product on me that *** or *** not work instead of trying to fix the actual problem, the replacement unit they sent me was faulty.Again, this issue is incredibly common in reading other reviews and considering the safety issue, a recall should be conducted. This company does not stand by their product. Especially at this price point, they should not be sending out bad units as replacements for warranty issues.

    I've purchased a 3 camera system in 2022 from Vava home. Recently app doesn't work, it's not on the app store for android. At this point the whole security system is no good.

    purchased vava ip combo 4 cameras and base station in jan 2022 , few days ago the application to view footage and adjust camera settings stopped working. I was just notified by there customer support the app is no longer available or supported. There was no communication, no announcement on social media of discounted support. now all my footage is gone and I will have to install a whole new system and drill more holes into my home

    I have a guaranteed 18-month warranty on a product I bought with Vava CD001 dash camera. . When I needed to have the item replaced within the warranty period, they said they will not honor it becuase they no longer sell on ***** They advertised that I contact Amazon for further processing or **** and file a warranty claim. Both Amazon and **** said they are not responsible for the manufacturer's warranty and will not honor it either. Vava offered a 15% discount off future purchases instead. I am now left with a defective dash cam. Item was purchased on July 2022.

    I received the Vava splitbaby monitor for a baby shower gift 4/2023. It was brand new bought from Wal-mart. I started using it in May 2023 when I had my baby. We used the device just as intended. August, the monitor started not always charging. ******* would sometimes work but would have to positioned just so. I contacted Vava in August and September. Finally got the receipt from the gift giver and was sent a *** return slip on 9/6/23 by Vava. I repackaged and sent the entire monitor and 2 cameras back through *** on 9/7/23. I kept the receipt. I was initially told I would have it back in 5-7 business days. It is now almost a month and still dont have the replacement. I keep getting emails when I ask and am told they are escalating it and to wait a few more days. I need this baby monitor now with two children at home. I feel like they wont ever get the replacement to me and affecting my livelihood as I cant put my baby in her room bc I dont have a monitor.

    My wife and I recently gave birth to twins babies and were gifted a baby monitor from the company Vava (model number VA-IH009) and we noticed right away that the monitor unit will not stay in charging mode when plugged in. If I apply pressure to the cord it will start charging but then as soon as I set it down it will stop charging immediately. I have reached out to the company via email and phone multiple times because this a defect that should be covered under warranty. This unit was not cheap (spent ~$300 dollars on it) and we would like the company to either return or replace the monitor unit. This is a very serious issue for my family as we need the baby monitor to be able to ensure our newborns are sleeping safely, and cannot do so with the defective product. After multiple times contacting customer service, they keep telling me that they will review it and have an update very shortly (they have not once provided any update or progress, and if they are not going to replace the defective unit, then I simply want a refund and will send back to the product. I have also noticed on many consumer review websites that MANY other customers have similar complaints about this company's inaction when it comes to customer issues.

    I purchased a dash cam in 2020. The past few weeks I noticed it sliding down my windshield and leave a black, sticky residue(that was extremely hard to remove-and it still is not completely gone after multiple attempts with different methods/products). I removed the dash cam per the manual. When doing so, the mount broke and is not repairable by me. I looked up reviews on this product and apparently this is a known issue with this mount. I reached out to the company for a replacement mount(not a whole unit, just the mount). They said they could not. They did not offer any assistance in explaining how I might be able to fix it myself. When I wrote back saying I was unhappy with their response, they then stated that they didnt have the mount in stock, and I could try a local hardware store. If this is a known issue with their product or components to their product I should be able to have it replaced.

    On August 23rd of 2022 I purchased a VAVA Baby Monitor Split Screen with 2 cameras for $235.42 on Amazon.com and the item was sold by and shipped by Amazon.com Around the beginning of March of 2023 the baby monitor stopped charging. The camera would pick up on being connected only if the cable was at a certain angle. Tried various cables and wall adapters, including the charged that was originally included with the monitor but same issue, monitor wouldn't charge unless the cable was at a certain angle. Because VAVA advertises their warranty policy on their website (and because I have previously filed a replacement request through warranty with them when I had their single view monitor) I recorded said issue and went ahead and contracted VAVA via ******** messenger where I was instructed to send the video and details to vava via email. I sent the first email on March 29th, 2023 and included details that described the issue, purchase details and attached a video with said issue as well as an Amazon.com invoice for the order. I received a response email that said that because I didn't make the purchase through their website, they cannot go forward with a replacement. 1. Their warranty doesn't state that the purchase has to be made through their website to be eligible for warranty claims 2. I've previously purchased another of their baby monitors on Amazon, had an issue and filed warranty claim with them and they had no problem with the purchase being made on Amazon. 3. They say they cannot accept an Amazon order because they stopped selling in 2022. Well.....the order was made in 2022, not 2023!!! I have sent multiple emails back and forth, made calls, asked to speak to supervisors, and each time am denied warranty. They keep saying to go back to Amazon, and Amazon keeps saying to go back to the manufacturer for the one-year MANUFACTURER warranty. At this point, i either want my monitor replaced or to be issued a full refund.

    Spent $160 on a dash cam that will not work in my country/region because they do not offer an app for it to work. They are making the return and refund of my money difficult.
