I have had my VA-IH009 Baby Monitor since 2023 and in April the night vision stopped working. I reached out to customer support and was told that it was outside of their warranty period and I could order a new one. I placed an order on 8/12 for a new camera. Once I received the new one and reading the manual I noticed that my camera didn't have the aluminum lens hood. I discovered that my camera was not broken, it was just missing the lens hood. I asked to purchase the lens hood and was told that product was not available. I requested a return address to be provided for the new camera, as shown in their return policy. I no longer need because mine is not actually broken. I was told it would be my responsibility to ship back. I believe the company should pay for the shipping. I have had to spend time going back and forth and the customer service AI ( a problem in itself) and ok the phone have been very unhelpful. I am requesting the company provides a prepaid shipping label and then issues a full refund of $93.56 refund once camera is sent back with prepaid shipping label.Initial Complaint

I purchased a VAVA security camera in October 2022 for approximately $100. While the device was still under warranty, the VAVA Home Cam app began experiencing issues. I repeatedly contacted their customer support, and each time I was told that they were working on fixing it. Unfortunately, once my warranty expired, their responses shifted, and they informed me that nothing could be done.The issue is that the app has since been discontinued, rendering the cameras completely useless. Hundreds of other customers have reported the same problem, with many having spent thousands of dollars on these devices. ********************** has effectively shut down the app and offered no solution for customers who invested in their products.If they no longer plan to support online access, they should at least provide an alternative offline option, such as enabling the hubs SD card to store and manage recordings. Instead, they have left paying customers with nonfunctional hardware.I believe this is unfair and misleading business practice. These cameras are marketed as functional home security devices, yet without the app, they are nothing more than expensive paperweights. I am requesting a full refund for my purchase, as the product is no longer usable due to decisions made by the company, not due to consumer misuse.Desired Resolution:A refund of my purchase, and accountability for VAVAs practice of discontinuing support for essential services without providing a viable alternative.Business Response

Hello,I purchased a VAVA 4K ******** projector (VA-LT002) in Dec 2024 (Order detail attached).The projector started malfunctioning in March 2025, within 4 months of purchase.The Projector's picture just goes off at random times when we are in the middle of watching a video, a movie, a series etc..I submitted a warranty claim via email (copy attached).The company responded with some troubleshooting steps. I tried everything, but in vain.The company asked for video proofs of the problem. It was so difficult to get the proofs because the issue occurs sporadically at random times. I still managed to get a couple of evidences, and sent them to VAVA. They came back saying the Projector is functioning (which is NOT true, that's the whole point of the warranty claim). They are blaming this on other external items like, HDMI cable, streaming devices connected etc.., which has got nothing to do with the Projector's picture just shutting down at random intervals.This is definitely a defect with the product (the VAVA Projector) and I'm demanding either a product replacement (a working projector) or a full money refund from the company. But they are just sending me on a run around each time I contact the customer service about this issue.Appreciate your help in this litigation and follow up.Thank you!Initial Complaint

I will never be purchasing from VAVA again. Their customer service is beyond disappointing. For such a high price point youd assume that theyre support would be significantly better. My monitor stopped working. Wouldnt turn off or go into sleep mode. Forcing me to keep it charged 24/7. I reached out to customer service for assistance as its within the 1 year warranty. Theyre requesting for me to send the camera and monitors back prior to them sending a replacement. With a 9 month old at home, Im not sure how Im suppose to monitor my baby while she sleeps as I wait for this replacement without a camera. Placed a phone call to the business for help with a baby monitor that will no longer connect. Bought in Aug 2024. *** mentioned that the monitor is out of warranty but he will grant a one time courtesy replacement. Purchased a Dash Cam (Vava Dual Dash Cam, 2K Front and 1080p Cabin or 2K 30fps Single Front). The suction cup melted on the front windshield. Never mind the sticky streak that it left - I contacted the company to see if I can receive a replacement or even purchase one, to no reply. The dash cam is now useless. I purchased the VAVA 5-inch baby monitor parent unit in March of 2023. There was a 12-month warranty. In April of 2024, right after the warranty expired, the product stopped charging and is practically unusable now. When I reached out to customer service, they said there is nothing they can do. The second response I got from them was almost nonsensical; I'm not sure how they're actually replying to these concerns. Given the expensive price point of this product, getting only one year of use is completely unacceptable. The timing of the issue is also suspicious, as it appears the charging port commonly has issues around the *****th month ***** We are asking that the monitor be replaced (the camera still works, so only the monitor is needed). The monitor value is $119. We are not asking for the entire system ($279 value) to be replaced.Business Response

We got the Vava baby monitor and it died on us within 10 months. Trying to communicate to get a replacement since its covered in warranty has been a pain. As a first time parent, we rely heavily on the monitor to make sure our baby is safe while sleeping. Weve been without a monitor for over 3 weeks trying to get this situation resolved. I would advise parents to search for another monitor and avoid this company at all cost.
