    I whole heartedly agree with every word from ********** It was for me a combination of complete lying, manipulation, and incompetence. They slapped a lock on a phone I own when I transferred, gave me a temporary number, but I couldnt transfer my old number of over 17 years to replace the temporary because they put an unlawful lock on my phone. It says it right on my phone. I was paid up for the current agreement time, no reason to do that. The reason I desperately needed the lock off is because my old phone and SIM was lost, so I needed to do a verification process with my old provider by inserting a new SIM, etc. All this was to generate a transfer PIN. I wasted hours and was hung up on. I never sweared, kept my temper, was crying, this is a home business line! I asked for a supervisor and they seemed to collude in giving me misinformation. They even said I needed to call Apple to unlock my phone! It was a phone previously used for over five years on their network! Disgusting and telling EVERYONE

    I live in ********** was just in ****** for 10 days, mint mobile was the number one largest frustration from my trip! I couldn't call or text anyone the whole time I was there except for the mint technical support (for some reason that worked). I spent hours texting them (8 separate technicians) doing everything they said to do, could not get it to work. The last guy tried to tell me my phone is locked! It's not! As soon as the plane landed in the states the phone worked fine again. If you are planning to travel outside of the states, DO NOT COUNT ON MINT MOBILE!

    It has not been a good experience with this company. Although they advertise low monthly rates, there are always added fees beside the taxes, etc. such as a recovery fees. The explanation is they have to cover their administrative fees. That does not make sense why we have to pay their administrative costs. Very unhappy

    Mint mobile customer service department is full of scammers. I ordered a phone, and plan, so I thought, and became suspicious when I was double billed.When I called mint mobile, they claimed to have no record of my transactions even though I presented an order# that they gave me.Luckily , I was able to file a case , with my bank, against mint mobile.This company is full of scammers.

    Ohh mint mobile, you robbed me. You quick took my money but I have nothing to show. Your customer service is schooled in deceit. I implore any would be customers to go anywhere but here. They are pushy to get you to buy their services but lack the resources to handle common issues that would arise like lets say a refund because your employees whom are poorly trained cannot handle simple issues and they in customer service lol what a joke. I want my money back. I will call every day until we are refunded. Im sure there is one person who possesses some kind of knowledge about this.

    I have been with Mint Mobile for more then 6 years. I was happy with the service and even brought over some friends and family to Mint. **************** was satisfactory as was the service and signal strength in my region (*******************). Over the last few years however that all changed and my service progressively got worse and worse. For the last year and a half my cell service is all but unusable. I contacted customer service dozens of times when I actually could because mostly my signal would go to no bars and zero bars. After waiting for at least 45mins to an hour minimum I would have them on the line only to get told that I have the wrong settings or I did not install my Sim correctly or to try and change this setting etc. I tried all their "fixes" and went so far as to get a new Sim card. Nothing changed and I was left with a situation where I was paying for something and getting nothing in return but a headache and frustration. They even gave me a $25 credit in my account to use for extra data or whatever. What good does that do when the service is non existent and un usable? I want some of my money back on my credit card. I am canceling them a month early and just taking the hit because I need to be able to use my phone and with Mint as a provider that just doesn't happen. Final thoughts are Mint was good at first but worthless for the last 2 years.

    I signed up with mint 9 months ago. It was fine until I decided ro leave and switch to Spectrum. I purchased my unlocked iPhone at the Apple Store. Mint has somehow locked my phone to them and it is impossible to talk to someone that is able to do anything about it. I am now paying for spectrum, plus I had to pay for another 3 months of mint (so I could use my phone!!!) I have spoken to at least 15 different people at mint customer service. One person will say I unlocked it. Wait 24hours. 24 hours later it is of course still locked. I call again and this time the person tells me that they cant unlock it because its not locked by them. I am getting lied to by everyone. Nobody is able to actually help me. It is obviously locked by them because when I decided to pay for another 3 months it worked perfectly. If it was locked by another carrier, how would I be able to reconnect with mint?!?! They are basically refusing to allow me to switch to spectrum by locking my phone, which they have no legal right to lock, since I bought it outright and unlocked from the Apple Store.

    In May of 2022 I purchased a ****** Pixel 5A through Mint Mobile, and I have been a customer of theirs ever since. Unfortunately last Friday my Pixel 5A screen went black and would not power on. ****** offers a 1 year extended repair program for the Pixel 5A because this is a common issue. However, when I went to ****** to try to get the repair processed, they informed me that I was unable to use the extended repair program because Mint Mobile was not an authorized ****** device reseller at the time of purchase. I called Mint Mobile, and after an hour of back-and-forth was told that they would not honor the extended repair program. I am out of luck because I purchased a lemon phone through this scam company. I will be canceling my service with Mint Mobile as soon as I can get a new phone through a respectable vendor.

    Disappointed!! I guess I am naive and partially not so smart but I fell for the ************************* charming hook! I am a 55+ year old phone user. I didn't read the fine print. The plans in the end are no different than they are for people who are under 55. It's just a hook the $45 for 3 months. It's not every 3 months for 55+ /seniors which is an economical good choice! I was thrilled that Mint Mobile had a 55+ plan. However if you cannot drop a $180+ payment (which is the very basic basic plan 5gb a month to get the $15 a month savings) after the first 3 months this company is not for you! If you are on a fixed income as many seniors are on in their golden years this company is not for you! The $45 dollars is a hook! The cheapest plan after the 3 months is $75 for 3 months which is $25 a month. You will not benefit from the $15 a month after the first 3 months unless you have big money to spare. I am now on the **** for a simple sim plan way cheaper than the overall Mint Mobile company is offering. I hope ************************* soccer team keeps winning cause his Mint Mobile Team is not!!!!

    Poor customer service. Called several times to turn off voicemail on the last call they finally said it wasnt possible. However, on the first call the representative asked for three of my outgoing or incoming phone numbers to verify account. Not sure if this was company policy or fraud so please be careful.
