They are in the process of obtaining ERC benefits. Process over 18 months and still waiting. I am constantly contacting them for updates. Requested copies of the forms they filed numerous times - no response. Now I get letter from *** stating that my mailing address is now changed due to some form they filled out. I will no longer be receiving any notifications at my address. When I notified them of this letter- again no response. Not sure I will be receiving my check from *** now due to the misinformation.

You wrote: They are in the process of obtaining ERC benefits. Process over 18 months and still waiting.

Response: Over a year of that wait was due to the *** initiated moratorium. Things like this are unexpected and out of our and your control.

You wrote: I am constantly contacting them for updates. Requested copies of the forms they filed numerous times - no response.

Response: For the year of the moratorium there was no info to relay. All processing of **** claims was at a halt. As far as the copies of the forms, you could have downloaded a copy when you signed. The application asks you if you want a copy. We have already sent you copies of the forms.

You wrote: Now I get letter from *** stating that my mailing address is now changed due to some form they filled out. I will no longer be receiving any notifications at my address. When I notified them of this letter- again no response.

Response: You did not get an immediate response but you did get a response within 48 hours. Just like you, there are 1000's of other clients eager to get their ERTC case resolved after the year long moratorium imposed by the ***. We repond back to clients in the order they came in.

Also not true that you will not receive information because on 10/29 you sent me a copy of the information the *** sent you, not us.

You wrote: Not sure I will be receiving my check from *** now due to the misinformation.

Response : There is no misinformation. the *** notification you sent us on 10/29 was an overpayment notice which means the *** is issuing a check or credit to you.

My name is *****************************. I paid Millennia Tax Relief their total asking price for the service of handling my outstanding *** tax debt over 7 years ago. The do not answer my calls. They only respond to me when I complain to your agency. My most recent contact from them was from ********************************* after I complained to you. True to form, once I spoke with him and he promised to get back to me , there has been no communication. This is typically what they do. The most disappointing issue with this complaint this time is that I have been contacted by an outside agency named The Hardship Relief Fund. They seem to be sincere people who ask me to ascertain the amount I owe to the *** and call them back so they could help me with it. I explained this to **************** and he promised to get right back to me with that information. He said if I didnt hear from him, that I should shoot him a reminder text and he would get back to me. That was about 4 days ago and I have not heard from him. He doesnt comprehend my urgency on the matter. Hardship Relief is anxiously awaiting my return call. Millennia cant even do the simplest task that I may resolve this issue after 7 years! One more thing I like to say. When I was paying for their services, they called me every month in a timely fashion. They even called 3 days before my due date, every month to remind me of the due date. Once they secured my money they only return my calls and text when your agency contacts them. I need those figures to move on with my life. Also my dealing with The Hardship Relief Agency does not absolve them the responsibility of completing the job that I paid them for. Help please !

I have a ***************** name is Millennia tax Relief They contacted me and said they could reduce my taxes 10 to ********, I called them back. And said I already have payments set up for the state and federal. They said we could maybe save you a lot of money. Let us look into it for free. I said OK but don&#**;t do anything until I talk to my tax lawyer. So I called *** my tax guy. And I also called the *** state and federal. They said I already have my payments set up. Why would I pay somebody else to do what I&#**;ve already done? I called ****** ******* ************ Back right away and told her I wasn&#**;t going to do it cancel everything Days later I got a Text telling me that I owe them $500.For something they said they was going to do for free to try to get my business. I saved the last few text&#**;s if you need them.

This is kind of a mute point now since the case was canceled and we were never paid a *****.

I will  mention that a couple of things that do not jive.

    1) We finished an investigation withthe IRS, here are the findings:

    Comment posted by ********* ****** on [Mon Sep 11 09:56 AM 2023]:
    IRS Agent Name: Ms. ********* style="box-sizing: content-box; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium;">IRS Agent ID: ************* style="box-sizing: content-box; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium;">

    Balances:
    2021- $5,898.46 6/6/32
    2022- $6,611.42 6/5/33

    Total Owed: $12,509.88

If there was a installation agreement set-up they would have told us. They did not!

    2) Secondly you signed an agreement to pay $500 (Normal Investigation Cost) although you did not provide a method of payment.

    Case was canceled on 10/9/23

I had been working with them for over 3 years. They took the money for my monthly payment and never contacted me and I have left messages upon messages and no return calls. Now I have a big bill from the *** saying. I need to pay. Where did all the money I gave them to pay for the *** go?

    Business Response

    Date: 02/03/2025

I do not know how else to say it other than this case was plagued by non-cooperation, unresponsiveness and payment issues on the part of the client.

We were able to accomplish a couple of things. Multiple Investigations and the preparing and filing 2011 and 2019 taxes for the client.

That is what was needed just to get in a position to negotiate a resolution. Once we have the investigation done and a plan of action we need financial information and supporting documents from the client. These are needed to build a case for the client. The *** will not negotiate any solution until it has a precise picture of the clients financial status. This has to come directly from the client. There is no way for us to obtian this info on behalf of the client.

Once there is an agreement to work together we immediately send requests for what we need from the client.

Ms ******* signed an agreemnemt on 9/18/19 and that same day she received the first request for financial documents. From that point on, we have our hands tied until the client submits their info.

The following are dates we requested documents:

    2019
    9/18
    9/21
    10/22
    11/20

    2020
    2/27
    4/8
    6/2
    7/8
    7/21
    8/25
    9/11
    9/16

    2021
    2/2
    5/18
    6/6
    7/12
    9/12
    11/20

    2022
    3/2
    9/12

    2023
    6/6
    12/28

    2024
    12/4

23 requests for the same information over the span of 5 yrs without the client supplying the information requested.

At some point you just have to throw in the towel.
    We canceled the case 1/2/25.

To answer the questions Where did all the money go? It is clearly stated in all agreements that funds collected are purely for professional fees in an attempt to finalize a resolution to the tax issues a client may have. There is no implied or expressed guarantee as to the results and we do not pay the *** for the client.

While any kind of refund is out of the question, ************* still has tax issues that pertain to what she signed up for, tax resolution up to 2019, we would be happy to see if we can help if she is willing to cooperate with our requests for information and participation in the process. Anything above and beyond what she signed up for would of course be a new case.

In 2020 I hired Millennia tax for a 2012 irs bill that was roughly over 10k They promised to get an offer in compromise and no wage garnishments . After paying them over 1k in fees for their representation and tax prep fees for 2020 and 2021 . I realized that they were not doing the things they promised so after filling my 2021 tax w-2 with them I said I will no longer need your representation. So fast forward 7/12/ 2023 I call irs because my wages are being garnished and I wanted to know if I can get a payment plan because of financial hardship . *** denies my payment plan and says I did not file my 2021 w-2 and denied me a payment plan . I insisted to *** that maybe this is wrong because I payed Millennia Tax to file my tax for that year 2021 . *** tells me it was not filed along with that I still owe from 2012 so now I have a whopping 15k bill and cannot get a payment arrangement because of Millennia tax negligence and misleading representation. They have done nothing for me other then take my money and postpone a now even larger tax bill and I dont qualify for a payment plan because they did not file my ********************************************************************************************************* a bigger hole and situation financially. Now I am stuck with my wages being garnished not knowing how me and my family will survive because of this mishap .

I was contacted by Millennia Tax Relief around April 4th 2022 by their rep ***** ****. He asked if I knew about the Tax liens I had. I explained my husband of 21 years passed away 2/10/2022 and he took care of all of our finances, especially taxes since he was self-employed, so I knew nothing. Since my husband's passing I learned our financial status was on the verge of bankruptcy and our entire financial existence a lie. ***** said Millennia can help me separate myself from my husband's businesses by filing Innocent Spouse paperwork with the ***. Millennia assisted me with taking out an $8000 loan with ********************************** and assured me they could resolve my tax issues before the interest on the loan kicked in. As of today, June 21st 2023, I have not received a single update in my case. The Tax investigation stage started April 6th 2022, I was informed a Settlement Officer would contact me with results and I still have not been contacted. Instead of getting updates on separating me from my husband's businesses, I have only received requests for the 2021 P&L for said businesses. I explained in the beginning I have NO ACCESS to any of the business accounts, banks or credit cards. Everything I learned about our finaces goes to proving he was hiding all of the financial information from me, like changing the mailing address on my credit cards to his office address, thereby proving my Innocent Spouse claim. I have called weekly for updates and still have not received a response from anyone at Millennia Tax Relief. I have emailed my frustrations and told them I understand its a complicated situation and if they can't help me just tell me, still no status response, just excuses and blaming me for missed calls. I live in constant fear of losing my home to the *** because Millennia instructed me NOT to contact the *** under any circumstances or it will destroy any progress they are making. Yet I have no clue if they have even contacted the ***.

    *******,

We know it has been a long haul and the trip is still not over. Since the time of your complaint I know you have talked to ******** a number of times and we have put many things in place to try and get you a fair resolution.

Cases where spouses pass away and leave a survivor are always complicated especially when their is substantial debt left over as in your case and a number of years where tax filing were not sumitted.

i know we filed 2021, 2022 and 2023 taxes for you. We had also filed an innocent spouse claim but as you know that was denied. Regular Tax returns for the current year get reviewed by the *** fairly rapidly. It is a completely different case with back tax years. On Back Tax Years It can take up to a year for the *** to review, acknowledge and post info to a clients case.

We will continue to work for you to get the best possible resolution.

I know you have it, but I am including your case managers information here. Please call or email her at anytime with questions, concerns or when you need a status report.

March 10, 2023 I received from Millennia Tax Relief, LLC two (2) separate case numbers. Case #****** is for my ERTC, and case #****** is for tax amendments I paid Millennia Tax Relief, LLC $400.00 to complete for the years 2021 and 2022. I was told by the representative that the tax amendments would be completed in no more two (2) weeks. Today is Friday, June 16, 2023 and I have yet to receive tax amendments for 2021 or 2022 after placing numerous calls and text messages requesting a status on each amendment. I am requesting that Millennia Tax Relief, LLC discontinue all efforts concerning amending my 2021 and 2022 tax returns, and that I be immediately refunded the $400.00 ($200 each tax year) I paid Millennia Tax Relief, LLC for a service this company has yet to complete. Millennia Tax Relief, LLC is to no longer represents me concerning my amended taxes (2021 and 2022). Millennia Tax Relief, LLC was also contacted numerous times requesting a update on the status of my ERTC case number ******. Each phone I personally to this company resulted in being placed on hold for upwards of 30 minutes and more without a representative answering my calls. The unprofessionalism of this company is sad, and I am requesting that I be provided an immediate update on the status of my ERTC Case #****** to include, a timeline concerning when I will be receiving funds from the ****. Millennia Tax Relief, LLC has my permission to continue work on my ERTC Case #****** as long as I am properly notified of the status of my case.

    *****,

We apologize for the confusion and ultimately failure to complete your tax amendments for 2021 and 2022. I did see that we never efunded you the $400 paid and we would like to do that now. Please send my your current address and we will send out  a check for the full refund.

On another note abut your ERTC case. At one point in time filing of **** for companies utilizing PEOs for payroll was allowed by third-party providers. During the 5 years of **** history there have been many many changes to the guidelines. One change was the rules around PEOs. The current ruling is that only the *** is able to file for a company.

Sorry we struck out twice for you. Send us your information and we will get the refund to you.

Millenia tax relief told me they could bring my city taxes down by over 40% by negotiating with the city. They signed me up with a loan company and charged me monthly with 40% interest on services that were never completed. I reached out to them for over a year, and when they told me nothing had been accomplished. I asked them to cancel and give me a refund, since they hadnt done any work on it. They told me they would send to the supervisor, cancelled my account and stopped answering all calls and messages saying I was no longer a customer and that they could not speak with me anymore. Now I am stuck paying an amount for services I did not receive with a 40% interest rate. My only option is to pay the loan up front by not receiving the services.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/03/2025

This is a repost of communication to Ms **** back on May 3rd 2023:

    Hello *******,

I have received and reviewed your request for refund and find that many of the details you mention do not coincide with our records.

    1) You mentioned you started with Millennia Tax in March 2022. Based on the Contracts signed we started the Resolution process in May of 2022.
    2) You mention that you were told that we reduce tax debt by 40%. There are clients whose taxes we have reduced 10, 20, 30, 40 up to 100%. Please note that every client is completely different and past history for one client has nothing to do with the future of another. Each client's tax situation and financial status is different and will warrant a different outcome. A potential outcome in initial conversations is only based on that, Conversation, not hard facts. For instance, in the initial conversation, you stated you have an annual income of $72K. Your actual income is approx 25% more. These "small details" have big effects on a potential outcome.

    3) I am including a portion of that contract your signed which states there is no absolute specific resolution expressed, implied or guaranteed:
Section 6) DISCLAIMER OF GUARANTEE AND ESTIMATES.
    a) Nothing in this Agreement and nothing in Companys statements to Client will be construed as a promise or guarantee about the outcome of the matter. Company makes no such promises or guarantees.
    b) Any comments by Company about the possible outcome of Clients case are expressions of opinion only.
    c) Any estimate of Government fees given by Company shall not be a guarantee. Actual fees may vary from estimates given.
    d) Client may need additional Years / Returns, whereby additional fees may apply.

    4) You mention that in October "Nothing had been done" That cannot be true since your 2018 tax filing was prepared and sent to you on Aug 2. It took you a month to return the signed filing in Sept 2022. Please note that once filings are submitted it does take time for a taxing agency to acknowledge them and post them to your account. Nothing can be done during that period.

    5) We were able to reduce the amount of your state tax debt.
    6) Cook County said they never spoke to anyone from Millennia. Please note that it is not a *************** job to record and relay who they talk with to a taxpayer. In fact, it is contrary to "their" interests to acknowledge an outside company is entering into resolution negotiations.

Based on all of the notes, I see that we completed what we were contracted to do:
    a) Investigate with the state to determine what the exact tax issue was.
    b) Prepare and execute a game plan.
    c) Prepare and file any back taxes needed prior to resolution.
    d) Workout a resolution with the taxing agency.

We did come up with a resolution which we conveyed to you, and you refused.

There is no doubt that is your option, but disagreeing with the outcome is in no way a valid reason to request a cancellation of the financing you decided on for our fees, or a refund of those fees.

Based on all of the above a refund is not a consideration.

    -----------------------

    Communication from May 22 2023

    ********,

I think my email to you was pretty clear. We did our job. We came up with a solution which you declined. Again that is your option.

We have explored and exhausted all other options and the solution is the only one based on your current financial status. If that financial status changes then there may be other options available for you.

    ++++++

Sidenote: When a taxing agency sees disposable income left over after eligible expenses they deem that client as able to pay the debt. At the time of our investigation and attempts at resolution Ms **** was making about $100K a year and the disposible income after expenses was $1900. The taxing agency deemed her more than able to pay the Installment agreement worked out.

    +++++++

    Communication from May 27, 2023

    *******,

I received a number of messages from you but see no need to converse unless you change your position to either accept the resolution posed by the state or submit documentation showing a different financial status so we can negotiate a different outcome. Our position has not changed and will not change unless you decide to accept the state proposition or submit paperwork that would warrant a change to the state proposal.

Let us know what you decide.

    =+++++++++++++++

After exhausting all other options for resolution with the State, only 3 remained:

    1) Accept their proposal that was based on the financial information the client submitted.

    2) Submit additional information that could possibly reduce the disposable income that state calculated and based their decision on.

    3) Decline the above 2 options. Ms **** chose option #3
