  we contracted June of 2023 to build an ADU. We paid Multitaskr $79,035.44 plus the City of *********** $3237.66 (permits). We were told we were in the final phase of permitting. We learned we were not, they never addressed the issues from the city. They never started our project. We were constantly being told they would break ground "next month".   We start this on February, 2023 Multitaskr contruction company license #******* or ******** they will do an ADU, the company will financing 100% of the proyect, they say that the unit will be autosustentable anergy efficient and that we need to take some loans, I let them know that I don't qualify for loans they say don't worry our investors will make qualify. They take 3 loans in my name I give them my e signature everything was electronic they use ****************** loan #******, Good leap loan #**********, and Mosaic loan #******, they ask for my account info. Because they suppose to pay the loan After a year they only send me email and change the proyect manager most of the time, they don't comply with the proyect and don't answer the call, I went to the office and no body open the door , they took the money from the loans and never start the proyect I can't pay the loans they have the money.The loan company are sending people to give letter that I have to pay them.

  On August 2023 I entered into a contract with Multitaskr. they offered to build a 600 SQ FT ADU unit on the back of my property that potentially i will use to rent it out. They beautifully projected the scenery to be finished before one year and so I would not have to worry about paying out of my pocket for the interest on the financing, but if the project was not finished in less than a year they would start making payments to the loan companies ( which by the way they took out two loans on my name for $170,000.000 and the funds were disbursed to them since day one!!! the same day that I signed the agreement ). well, the project NEVER STARTED! communication with the employees ***** ****, ******** ********, was fine at first but then they would not respond to my emails or texts msgs, or phone calls. I went to the city to check on the status of my ADU project and it was PENDING months ago! submited back to review and no one took care of it again. that made me realize MultitaskR was a REAL SCAM, I did research online on different channels and I confirmed my guesses when I found that i was not the only victim of this liars.Please I encourage anyone reading my complaint here if you are one more victim DO the SAME and file your complaint here and anywhere else, they MUST be accountable by their actions, if you have the possibility to take legal action, DO IT! specially against the heads of the company ******** *****, ***** *******, ******** *****, ****** **********, *** ******, ********* ******* and some other ******* *****, ****** WUAUMANN, ******** **** DE LA ****, ***** ******************* companies might be in cahoots with Multitasker and have some kind of responsibility in this FRAUD because by law they are not allowed to disburse such amount of money up front for construction projects that have not even stated.I am seeking the immediate intervention of BBB to stop Multitaskr to do any more business practices and advocate for all uf us.   3. Our intention was to build a separate structure on the same lot where our home is located.4. We were introduced to a business called Multi ****** via social media.5. Multi ****** guided us in procuring loans for the project.6. In order to build this structure, we took loans with ********, ****************, ****************** and Service Finance Company.7. We then took the proceeds from those loans and paid them to Multi ****** to create plans, schedule building and execute the project.8. We have paid Multi ****** over $377,600, all from the commercial loans.9. Multi ****** has stopped taking our calls or responding to emails and our project is dead in the water.

  I signed into an agreement with Multitaskr to build an ADU around Feb 2023. In order to sign into the contract we had to sign into loans with multiple lenders. However, once we did, we were not aware that they would disburse 100% of the funds ********** is now Oct 2024 and they have yet to begin construction. I have tried contacting them numerous times via phone, email, in person, any way possible, but it looks like they have abandoned their building and all employees have quit.They have essentially ran away with our money with no intention of beginning construction.

  I am another victim of Multitaskr. My family and I live(d) with my brother, who suffers from severe schizophrenia. Over time, his condition has worsened, and it is no longer safe for him to remain in our shared home. To address this, we hired Multitaskr to build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (***) where my brother could live separately.I first encountered Multitaskr on ******** around October 2022. They promised to build the *** with 0% interest financing for 12 months, assuring us it would be completed within that time. Multitaskr arranged financing securing loans for $75,000 and $58,084.43. They also promised a 5% discount if we paid 100% upfront, which we did in December 2022.Soon after, I received loan documents that required me to confirm that the project was already completed, even though no work had been done. The funds were sent directly to Multitaskr, and I now realize that paying upfront like this is not legal. However, the construction never began. The permitting process took twice as long as expected, and, despite being promised that the permit cost was included in the loan, I ended up paying for it out of pocket. Now, two years later, the *** remains unbuilt, and were buried in debt.Multitaskr has since shut down and is reportedly going bankrupt, leaving us with no recourse. At this point, I dont want to proceed with building the ***. My mentally ill brother is now in jail, and my husband, who was severely injured in a psychotic episode involving my brother on September 5, 2024, has decided to relocate temporarily as being here has become overwhelming for him. I just want my money back so we can start anew somewhere else.The attack on my husband, which my four children and I witnessed, has deeply traumatized our family. This tragic event could have been avoided if the *** had been built as promised, and the toll this has taken on our family goes far beyond the $130,000 we lost.

  In November 2022 we entered in contract with Multitaskr for an ADU to be built on our property. On January 29, 2024 a loan was taken out and paid directly to multitaskr in the amount of $100,000. (see attached). We have not had any work completed by the company. In March 2024 they indicated that plans had been submitted to the city of ****** for permitting. As of September 2024, we have confirmed that the city never received the plans. We have had no contact and been unable to reach the company for 3 weeks. It has been brought to our attention that the company has gone bankrupt and closed down. We received no work from them and we have an outstanding balance of $100000 that was paid to the directly.

  In August 22, 2023 we signed an agreement with the construction company multitasker to us a two-story ADU in the back of our property Between August and February of the following year they said they were working on paperwork and doing the necessary steps with the city before they could get started On 2/16 multitaskr collected $155,000 from two lenders on my behalf, sunlight financial and mosaic Per video and phone conversation they told us they were submitting plans to the city of *********** and that it would take a few months as plans would likely go to the city and get sent back for revisions and then get sent back again to the city We then tried to follow up with them to see what the status was as they had not reached back out to us and they then started completely avoiding all forms of communication and including phone and email.We recently found out that not even two weeks ago. The company was on the news in ********* CA for promising a family the same thing. It seems like the company has no intention of doing any of the work and are not going to be returning any of the money that we paid them.

  I have a contract signed 6/2023 with Multitaskr to build a 500 sq ft ADU at my property. There has been zero progress toward beginning the project (some plans have gone back and forth a few time with city of ******* planning). I have contacted Multitaskr multiple times voicing my concerns about lack of progress, with lack/poor communication. Last month Multitaskr said they were suspending operations while they "restructured", with a promise that they would be in contact week of 9/10/24. My $100,000 loan paid to Multitaskr becomes due February 2025. I am afraid this company is closing, or it was fraudulent all along. Can you please help me resolve this issue? I will not be able to repay the loan to ****** unless the *** is built. Thank you for your help and time. ******* *******
