I signed with Quality First in March 2022 for a new installation of solar panels for a residential property. The panels were installed in mid July 2022, after which Quality First took 6 months to send the PG&E interconnection agreement to allow for the panels to be switched on. Since Jan 2023 (when the PG&E agreement was signed and I enabled the system for energy production) one of the panels/inverters has been malfunctioning. Quality First subcontracts their solar jobs out to ****** ************** **** based in *********, **. After calling Quality First to fix the issue they came and swapped inverters after receiving a new part from the manufacturer (Enphase). This has occurred 3 separate times and has still not resolved the issue, and ****** ******************** are no longer willing to drive from ********** to ************ to finish the job correctly. Enphase and Quality First claim it's the inverter but after numerous attempted fixes they have been unable to get it working. I've since been calling Quality First dozens of times to get them to honor their warranty and fix the system. Their solar management staff give service call dates to which they do not show up. This has happened at least 5 times. They do not call back and lie directly to you, saying anything to get you off the phone, after which they ignore you completely. I consider this a breach of contract as the system since installed has been malfunctioning and they have not fixed it after 5 months (10 months total after install) and are completely unresponsive. I demand financial compensation for the loss of electricity production since the interconnection agreement was signed, and for Quality First to fix the malfunctioning inverter.

I signed a contract to have Quality First Home Improvement, *** to install solar panels for my house after their salesman's ''door to door" sales pitch in October 2022. They collected $1000 deposit from me.The original installation schedule was in December 2022. Now it is the end of June 2023. I am still waiting it to happen.I have contacted the project manager numerous times through text message and emails. He has all kinds of reasons (excuses) for the delay. I am really frustrated with this company. In their advertisement, they claim they are a BBB accredited A+ rated company. I do not understand what is the criteria of a BBB company. Both ****** review and Yelp review show many customers have similar bad experience.
