I signed with Quality First in March 2022 for a new installation of solar panels for a residential property. The panels were installed in mid July 2022, after which Quality First took 6 months to send the PG&E interconnection agreement to allow for the panels to be switched on. Since Jan 2023 (when the PG&E agreement was signed and I enabled the system for energy production) one of the panels/inverters has been malfunctioning. Quality First subcontracts their solar jobs out to ****** ************** **** based in *********, **. After calling Quality First to fix the issue they came and swapped inverters after receiving a new part from the manufacturer (Enphase). This has occurred 3 separate times and has still not resolved the issue, and ****** ******************** are no longer willing to drive from ********** to ************ to finish the job correctly. Enphase and Quality First claim it's the inverter but after numerous attempted fixes they have been unable to get it working. I've since been calling Quality First dozens of times to get them to honor their warranty and fix the system. Their solar management staff give service call dates to which they do not show up. This has happened at least 5 times. They do not call back and lie directly to you, saying anything to get you off the phone, after which they ignore you completely. I consider this a breach of contract as the system since installed has been malfunctioning and they have not fixed it after 5 months (10 months total after install) and are completely unresponsive. I demand financial compensation for the loss of electricity production since the interconnection agreement was signed, and for Quality First to fix the malfunctioning inverter.Business response

Correct ****** Solar is not longer affiliated with Quality First Home Improvement due to simiilar situations, We are going to send out new a Solar installer on Wednesday 5/31/23 to do a Micro swap for the customer.Customer response

Hired Quality First to perform home improvement work. New roof, new HVAC and Solar system. The work was completed in December 2022. It is now April 2023. Due to the companys incompetence, we still have not hade any of the work inspected and approved by the city. The Solar System application has been refused three times because the company has not provided the appropriate information to PG&E. So I am paying on a system that I c not getting any benefit from. My energy bill is the same as it was, and I pay for the system on my house that I get no benefit from. I have tried over the last three months to get these issues resolved and all I get is x uses and additional promises that do not come true. At this point I feel that the company has swindled me out of 60k and not provided any of the promises we were given by them.Initial Complaint

I went into contract with Quality First to replace all my windows, Patio door and screens for my home in April 2021. It has been nearly 18 months since they have finished my job. They did install some windows for me but have been dragging their feet citing one reason or the other about delivery from the manufacturer. I would like to null and void the contract so that i can go with another vendor that can install my remaining windows. Please advice.
