The following describes a government action that has been resolved by either a settlement or a decision by a court or administrative agency. If the matter is being appealed, it will be noted below.
On July 21, 2025, Evercare Direct entered into a Voluntary Forfeiture Agreement with the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance. The Agreement settles allegations that the business allowed the sale of motor vehicle extended service contracts without a valid producer license, created, promoted and/or was involved in creation, promotion or use of deceptive and misleading marketing pieces specifically designed to falsely imply a relationship and/or an affiliation with the vehicles manufacturer, affiliation with the consumer’s existing manufacturer’s warranty, and by creating a sense of urgency to respond to solicitations and/or purchase contracts in order to avoid lapses in coverage under their manufacturers warranty. Under the terms of the Agreement, the business agreed to voluntarily and knowingly surrender and forfeit the sum of $7,500.
This action is final.
