This company keeps sending me false and misleading mailings similar to what many others have reported. They make it sound like they hold the warranty for my new car and that I have to call them by an upcoming date to "activate my vehicle service contract" or I risk being financially liable for repairs after the factory warranty expires. They also ask for my VIN, which they would have if they were legit, and have nothing to do with my dealer or auto company--I already have an extended warranty and am all set. I don't think companies should be allowed to do business this way and they should not be getting BBB approval. I didn't fall for it but it alarmed me before I checked it out, and now it goes into my shredder.Thank youBusiness Response

Was sent a motor vehicle notification via mail with all my vehicle info. Stated they need my current mileage for an update to ensure there is no lapse in coverage. And that by neglecting to activate coverage, I will be financially liable blah blah blah. When I called twice to tell them to stop sending this clearly scam related mail I was called names and then yelled at by another employee. They do not stop sending these notices and its clearly a scam because they were trying to sell me coverage that I already have from my car manufacturer. This is a garbage company that is harassing people and trying to get them to sign contracts for vehicle coverage that we either already have or it wont cover anything. They need to be shut down. Complaints about them are all over Reddit and theres already 173 complaints here. Why do they have an A rating still? It needs to be dealt with.Business Response

I receive one of their "TIME SENSITIVE" letters at least once a month. These letters create the impression that my vehicle warranty has expired and urgency is required, leading me to believe I should contact them immediately.Despite having a new car with extended warranty coverage.I have called several times to request removal from their mailing list.Business Response

On 6/27/2025, I called a phone number from a letter I received in my mail. This letter in all capital letters said that I had not yet paid, and I better immediately contact this ********** someone who is trying their hardest to raise their credit, I immediately called this company and made the payment they mentioned ($199). I was told I would have to make this payment twice, once for the year 2025 and then again for 2026 and that I would have some sort of coverage for my car for the next 5 years. This is my first car. Panicked, I paid $199 of my HARD. EARNED. MONEY. MONEY THAT I BARELY HAVE IN MY BANK ACCOUNT to this person named ***** *****.Thank God I mentioned this to someone at one of my jobs and he said to me, " you should look into that, normally a vehicle contract charges you monthly, and you definitely did not need to make that payment."Long story short I ended up googling ********* Direct, I ended up googling about car warranties and found out this is not this do or die thing. Like I can be without one, and just pay if something ever goes wrong with my car on the spot. I am requesting a refund of $199 dollars that I paid to this scam business. I don't care if what they are selling is real. They have unfair, sick and purposefully misleading business practices. When I tried calling this business back today, I was put on hold by 3 separate people as they transferred me to "departments" that I don't think even exist.I make $16 an hour. I have no siblings and no support apart from one parent. I am not a social influencer that makes easy money from smiling on Instagram, and I don't have $199 to splurge on *******protection*********. I need money to live on and money to buy my groceries and basic household items like shampoo.Business Response

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We truly understand how important every dollar is, and were very sorry for the confusion and stress this situation caused.
According to our records, your policy was canceled on July 18, 2025, and the full refund of $199 was processed at that time. If you have not yet seen the refund reflected in your account, we recommend checking with your financial institution, as processing times can vary slightly depending on the bank.
We sincerely regret that the initial communication you received caused panic or concern. Our intention is never to mislead.

Evercare Direct sent me a miseading letter titled 'Time Sensitive' with a reference to my vehicle make and model. The letter starts out with a warning, "THIS LETTER IS TO INFORM YOU: That if your factory warranty has expired, you will be Financially Liable for all repairs. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us to get your service contract up-to-date".They make it sound like I already have a service contract with them, which I do not. This is totally misleading especially since I am still covered by the vehicle warranty and I purchased extended service contract through my lender when I purchased my vehicle. I feel this letter is meant to confuse recipients into calling their number and be tricked into purchasing something they do not need. I called the number and asked how I could be removed from their mailing list and I was hung up on. I do not wish to receive letters from this company and wish to be removed from their mailing list.Business Response

Harassment in my opinion. I receive one of their TIME SENSITIVE letters at least once a month. The letter gives the idea that your vehicle warranty has expired and you have to act now, the whole letter leads you to believe at some point were supposed to contact them. I've called a total of 5 times after receiving the letter to please remove me from your mailing list. I have a new car with extended warranty coverage. Out of 5 calls. Someone on the other end has been rude and disrespectful to the point where 3 times they hung up on me while I was still talking. As a business owner. This company and it's employees are a joke!Business Response

Received a final notice for extended warranty. Called and told that they were the only company with authentic ****** coverage. The quote that I was given was $1,000 more than the quote that the dealer had provided. I told the representative NOT to charge my account. Luckily the charge was declined by my credit card company. What a scam, it seems this is a regular business. I received notices from several companies. I would like ALL of my account information deleted from their files and an apology sent by email for making the charge in the first place.Business Response

Evercare Direct sent me a miseading letter titled 'Time Sensitive' with a reference to my vehicle make and model. The letter states that "Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us to get your service contract up-to-date".This is totally misleading especially since I coincidentally purchased a separate extended service contract directly from my dealership when I purchased my vehicle new. My spouse thought we had to contact the 800 number on the letter to activate the agreement. I feel this letter is meant to confuse recipients into calling their number for clarification only to hear high pressure sells tactics.I do not wish to receive letters from this company and wish to be removed from their mailing list.Business Response
