Have a leak in my hot tub. Called Vortex Pools . 1) Crew arrived, STAYED ONLY 1 hour. Could not find leak. Told me they had to ask owner for help, & left. Got a $75 invoice. Paid it assuming they would be back to fix the problem for free.2) Crew arrived a 2nd time. STAYED ONLY 1 hour. Found leak, but again, they had to ask owner for help and left ? Got a 2nd $75 invoice ! Called owner. Told him his crew did not fix the ******** was out $75, and they left the tub semi assembled. Was not paying another service charge 3) Owner then had the gall to suggest a 3rd ($75 invoice). I refused !!I have dealt with heating, exterminators, warranty issues in the past. Service people come & STAY till the problem is solved, but NOT this company. They have a real scam process going here !

************* - thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Yes, we do charge $75 for a service call which includes 1 hr of our service from a trained technician. This does not mean we can stay for 6 hrs, just because you paid for one service call. We did work for 1hr 18 mins, that time was spent removing layers and layers of blown in insulation, which covered every single pipe and hose in your spa. We have pictures and time stamps thats shows all the work that was completed. There's no quick fix for this insulation removal as its all done by hand. This was the 1st step in the leak repair process, which was explained to you. This is an exploratory repair - just trying to locate and access the leak takes time. Especially, in your case, which was a very slow leak. The cabinet was left open, with your approval, knowing we would need to come back and continue working on your spa. We would never leave it open otherwise. When you decided not to have us finish your job, we werent given the opportunity to reinstall the panel. I understand you want the leak fixed but it takes time and isnt something thats completed in under an hour. If you arent happy with our service, you have every right to leave a negative review. It would have been nice if you were fair and didnt leave out important details to your version of the story. As a veteran and family man, Im offended when you call my business a scam. Our family has worked extremely hard over the years to build up our business and take care of our customers. We have integrity and are not scamming anybody. You paid for a service call and received and hour of service, this is not a scam. Your upset because the leak was not repaired in under an hour, lets be honest. I would be happy to give you a refund of your $75.

During the 1st appointment call No One mentioned the service calls were only an hour. When the crew arrived, neither of them told me the "hour" visit story. Same as with the 2nd appointment call & 2nd crew visit. Never seen a business work this way. The owner has a sly way of not disclosing this information, but quick to send $75 invoices ! This should not be the way to do business, or tolerated by unknowing customers. I will accept the $75 refund to my account as mentioned.
