On September 6, 2022, Nautilus Insurance Company entered into a Consent Order with the State of Minnesota Department of Commerce. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business failed to within 30 business days, accept or deny one claim or notify the insured of the reasons why the claim investigation was not complete, and provide an expected date of completion. Under terms of the Consent Order, the business was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,000 to the state of Minnesota.
