On 02Jun2023 I called the company to report that my recycling bin had not been emptied and the customer service person I spoke to said he had spoken to a driver and they would return to pick up the trash the same day or Monday 5th June but these days have passed and nobody picked up the trash. I called on 6th and I was told that the issue had been escalated and someone would be contacting me and also the trash will be emptied on the same day nobody did. I called today 07Jun2023 and the lady I spoke to had no explanation why they had not come around to pick up and said it was scheduled to be picked up today but that did not happen either. In the meantime I get a warning from the *** since my trash can has been out for too long. Unfortunately I have paid this company to provide a service but they are not and they seem to not care. They are either lying to me or have incompetent people working who care less for what they do but the part that they need to know is that I paid for the service and they need to get this done. I will not be giving them my business in the future but before I terminate my services I want ensure they empty the bin. Its just unacceptable that I have had to call these many times jut to get nothing doneBusiness Response

On Friday June 2nd, 2023 Republic Trash Services neglected to pick up/empty our 1 96/98 gal trash can by the usual 1-2pm for the last 24 years so I called them and they assured me they would come back around and get it by 6pm that day and to leave my can at the curb. Noone showed so the following Monday afternoon I called again and got the same response. Noone showed so I called Tuesday and was told we were on the pickup schedule for that day, they would escalate the call and a supervisor would call me. Haha, no call, no show and its now Wednesday evening 5:28pm, the city is threatening to fine us for leaving our trash can at the curb over 24 hours and Republic knows this. The neighbor was kind enough to let me put a bag of trash on one of their cans because I have no room left in mine! How or where do I file a complaint about this? They are paid by the city through our taxes every year so I have no leverage. I just want them to DO THE *** THEY ARE PAID TO DO. I also want future customers to know how this company treats their current customers. They do not care, they get paid regardless and that's the problem. I apologize that your trash was missed once since you've had service. On June 2nd there was a new driver running the route that missed this street. We work daily to correct any and all issues so that service is where it should be. We strive for perfection but we do fall short at times. Thank you for your patience in resolving this issue. This company and all of its employees take pride in our service and take it very serious when customers are missed. I don't expect any service issues going forward and again, I apologize for the one missed pick up.

Ever since Republic Services bought out ******* Waste Management here in ********, ** (*****) the service has went to TRASH. My pick-up is scheduled for Tuesdays, if there is a Holiday, they will notify ******* change in the pickup, this is perfectly acceptable. The issue is, they NEVER come on Tuesdays. Today is Wednesday, my can has now been on the street for over a day (garbage cans on the street really make the community look great said no one ever). My pick up 2 weeks ago didnt happen until Friday. So not only do I get to look at my, and the neighbors trash for an extra few days, I also get to pick it up multiple times because out street is in the farm fields, so when It is not picked up through the day, at night the coyotes, racoons and wo knows what else gets into the can and spreads it around for me to pick up in the morning. If I knew where the actual local office was, I would take it to them and drop it off in the lobby. If I am late paying my invoice, I have to pay a late fee, on top of all the other BS fees they already charge (Fuel Recovery fee....Its called the cost of doing business), so where do I send my invoice for a late pick up?Business Response

I sent a letter to republic waste company stating I was canceling their service as of the date 6/1/23 and to remove their rash receptacle from my property on such date. I originally had hired ****** sanitation for my trash services and republic bought them out. My agreed upon rate with ****** was $76 every three months. Since Republic bought out ****** my bill has increased to $120 a month. Republic did not remove their trash receptacle on 6/1/23 and even sent me a bill for the dates 6/1/23-8/30/23. I have formally discontinued their services and asked them to remove their receptacle from my property as I have switched to curbside a much more affordable company. Republic needs to void theyre current invoice and remove theyre receptacle from my property immediately.Business Response

As soon I moved to Liberty Trails, the only company providing trash pick up was Republic Service but also it was the company that **************** was suggesting. I tried to request service online but because the neighborhood was recently completed, I was not able to do it so I decided to call. I was paying an average of $170.00 every three months for mostly the first year until I found that I was overpaying for the service. The entire neighborhood was getting charged $58.00 every three months. I called back in January and nobody was able to explain to me the reason why I was overcharged. The person via phone fixed the price but filed for giving me credit for the extra amount that it is been paid, but nothing is been approved yet. It is been 6 months and nothing. I'm only getting emails from Republic Service charging me for the service, but nothing about the refund/credit. I have been calling them numerous times and nothing.Business Response

Issued credits for the difference in the rates for the Jan/April/July/Oct 2022 invoices as well as corrected the additional rate of $68.12 that was on the account. I spoke with ******, as well as emailed credit information over to him. I informed him of the credits that have already been posted on the account as well as the additional credit that will generate. Republic Services Inc. has not picked up our trash since May 19, 2023. Our entire area has not had service. Republic Services keep calling and giving different dates for pickup as of 6-5-23 it has not happened. Numerous calls and emails have been made to them.Business Response

I placed an order for new services and was to receive a 95 gallon container on May 4, 2023. I received a cart on May 17th. I was told that trash would be picked up the following day. My trash has been sitting at the curb since May 17th. I have made calls spoke with ******, *****, and ****** at the local office. I called on Wednesday this past week and was told that I was on route for pickup and the trucks stay out until 6 pm. No one came to empty. The trash is becoming a nuisance and needs to be picked up. Request pickup or refund of payment. I will go to a different company if necessary. I've been with Republic for 7 years and never had this issue.Business Response

My neighbors and I have not had our trash picked up in over two weeks now From republic services off of west ******* street. Republic services failed to pick up On May 26,2023 and June 2, 2023. I got online to see If the company was having issues making service to their customers. While looking for that I started reading the reviews of the trash company. And in the 2 weeks l've been looking, the complaints have continued to pile up especially in the past several months. I've heard that they've even missed neighborhoods in ozark. My neighborhood is starting our 3rd week now with no pick up. Some of the people on the reviews are saying that Republic Services are not offering refunds and some people are canceling their accounts and Republic Services aren't acknowledging it, by not picking up their bin when people switch companies. I feel like some people like me are in a tight spot because I have paid for service through July 31st 2023, And I know if I cancel right now they will not refund me for my two months that I've paid for. I think the complaints are in the 1000's with the Better Business Bureau at this point. I just want the trash picked up because we have paid for a service and overflowing trash is not the best thing for our environment. One review said a Republic trash truck was going down ************************, and trash was flying out of the truck. They even posted the truck number. Local news *** did a report back in January 2023 reporting the exact situation customers are going through today. I also saw reports being made back in July 2022. It seem I'm starting to see a trend. I sent pictures. The 1st picture is of my trash bin. I wanted to show that my bin is not over flowing. I didnt want to give them a reason not to pick it up. I have been lucky enough to take my overflow trash to my parents until this is resolved. The 2nd pic is my neighbors. And there is way more around the neighborhood.
