May 24, 2022 I towed my 2013 dodge journey to International Engines LLC and was told I needed a new engine. When the work was completed I picked up my vehicle and was told I had a 1 year warranty. But for the warranty to be valid I must bring my car back when I reached 500 miles. ***** leaving the shop my engine light came on so I turned around and went back. I was told I had faulty knock sensors which was not apart of the engine repair. On June 10, 2022 I took my car in for the 500 mile service so the warranty would be valid. I started seeing oil on the driveway and took my car back on 6/25/22. I was told I had a leaking gasket replaced and ignition coil set replaced and charged for parts. May 24, 2023 I took my car back because it had no power when excelling and the engine sounded like a hot rod. I was told the engine was under warranty but the labor was not and the amount was double the amount I paid the previous year because I needed another engine repair. My car was not completed until August 18, 2023 because they were short staffed and didnt have anybody available to do the repairs. I was given another warranty but only valid with 500 mile service check which was done 8/29/23. I was driving and the engine was sounding different so I took it back and was told the exhaust manifold was cracked. I asked how did it crack and was told due to overheating but my car never overheated. I was charged for labor and parts. I contacted a different shop and asked how does the manifold crack. A front collision or bolting it too tight are the only ways it will crack. October 14, 23 my oil change reminder came on, I had it changed on October 20, 23 and was told I had oil in the radiator and the gasket not being sealed properly is the only was antifreeze would be in the radiator overflow. I called the shop and was told to have it towed in because driving the car will make it worse. Im back to relying on other people for rides to work and weekly doctors appointments.

Customer took his truck in to get fixed and paid over $5K to get the engine rebuilt. This business claims the person was not a customer, even though he has a paid invoice and warranty for the supposed rebuilt engine. After picking up the truck, nothing but additional problems occurred. It was determined that this business removed the thermostat so it would not show whether or not the engine was heating up. It also resulted in a leak of the coolant into the oil. The customer took it back to get the truck fixed under the warranty. The business claimed the warranty was voided because it overheated and blamed the customer for it overheating. This was not the case and took the truck to Sun Devil Auto to have the engine looked at. It was determined that the engine was not rebuilt, and the quality of the job was subpar. This was all documented by a manager of the Sun Devil Auto and when it was brought to the attention of the business, the business owner's son said "as a courtesy" that the engine would be taken completely apart, all steps would be documented, and issues would be identified and remedied, and the engine would be put back in to no cost of the customer. This did not occur as it was verbally agreed upon with me, a Certified Fraud Examiner. When the customer came back to pick up the truck, he was told he would have to buy a batter because the one he had was dead, which makes absolutely no sense because the batter was working when he brought it back to to Sun Devil Auto. Sun Devil Auto transported the truck to International Engines, LLC before the last opportunity to fix it occurred. This business is full of excused and I would think twice about taking any vehicle in there for something as simple as an oil change.
