Initially they said it was going to be $2,800, for doing the lifters, gaskets oil, and coolant fluid, but latter on that same day he call me and said he had made a mistake and that it was going to be more money, $300 more because the cram shaft was damaged and they need it to replace it I said go ahead if it was need it, the next day he call and said he messed up again and it was going to be $490 more because my car had deactivation lifters I was mad at the time but my car was all ready been work on so I said ok. In response to Mr. **** *****, we would like to state that we have tried
speaking to Mr. ***** on the phone today to try to get clarification to his complaint, but we
found that communication with him would be best through this avenue, due to the reason that he
was not letting us ask questions and talked over us this was the same issue our service supervisor
and office employee dealt with. We understand the frustration and why he is upset but
communication is key.
In regards to the complaint and to clarify the time line, Mr. ***** took
his car to our shop on December 03, 2024, he left the vehicle and a $1,000.00 deposit. On
December 09, 2024 our work was completed. Between December third and ninth we
called him for recommendations, we recommended Mr. ***** to replace 19 external
accessories and he only approved to replace three. One of them being the ignition coil set,
something he was recommended to replace by ********** Auto Parts on November 30,
2024 this was on a file he sent in with his complaint
File:********************************. We also advised him that the check engine
was on due to trouble code U0402 Code: Invalid Data Received from TCM. He took the
vehicle and he did bring back the car a couple times for inspections.
January 6, 2025, after driving the vehicle about 1,389 miles. He brought
it because of the check engine light, making noise, and it shutting off. This is the time we
replaced the lifters under warranty, he did not pay anything for the repairs. This is also
the time we told him that the code we saw was the same code given to him a month ago
and 1,389 miles ago. We explained what could be the issue and on January 25, 2025 he
went to the office and spoke to our service supervisor. Our supervisor explained to him
that the issue could be in the wiring loom, and that we had a good used harness we could
replace his with at no cost to see if the issue resolved itself, at which point Mr. *****
refused to do that and took the vehicle from our shop
Today February 4, 2025, we spoke to Mr. ***** and when we spoke
about the harness as why he did not want us to replace it he claimed that the reason we
wanted to replace it was because we cut his harness, which is highly unlikely do to the
fact that if that was the issue we would have replaced regardless, not only that but why
would we want to do that when our job is just the engine itself, we do not want to
struggle with any external accessories unless recommended to be replaced because they
are visually damaged due to normal wear and tear. The other thing is that he sent a file
mentioned above from the Auto Part store where they ran the check engine light and the

ignition coils were the issue, this was before we received the car. We recommended the
coils not knowing that code was brought up to him, yet he refused to replace the coils
knowing they are an issue. We don’t understand why this complaint is being brought up
when he is the one allowing us the shop not assure the vehicle is working properly. The
files he sent also show the trouble code U0402 and he has not done anything to repair it.
At this point in time Mr. *****, all we can say to you is that we have
done our part in honoring our warranty, by replacing and repairing the lifter issue that
were causing issues. If you have any issues with the engine, you are is more than
welcome to call and drop off the vehicle for an inspection. Your warranty is still valid
and ongoing. Per our phone conversation on 02/04/25 at 10:38 AM, you told us you
worked on electrical on vehicles and the computer system, I hope this is something easy
to understand being that this is your field of knowledge, if that harness is not replaced
soon you may cause issues to the engine and lifters, as that harness is what allows that
system to work, this harness can cause multiple issues especially the ones you are
experiencing, and I hope you are not driving the vehicle like that as it is dangerous. After
our phone conversation, our offer to replace the harness with the good used harness at no
cost is no longer is on the table. But, if you purchase a new harness from a respectable
auto shop or even better the manufacture (dealer), we might be willing to replace it at a
low labor cost or not charge you labor at all. Please get that harness replaced, or call us
for any engine issues you have warranty one.
NOTE:
We will be attaching a few documents with dates and information to show the customer
was aware of certain issues and recommendations, we are attaching files he sent to show
the check engine light trouble codes with their dates and our documents to show that he
knew of these problems. We cannot be held responsible for issues addressed to the
customer that he did not want to replace.
Thank you,

To Mr. *****’s follow up comments, we would like to state that we have
done everything in our power to help Mr. *****, and are still willing to help him if there are
issues with anything under warranty such as approved external accessories and the engine long
block. What we are not going to do is go back in forth with some of his claims in this follow up.
There is a reason as to why we submitted our copies of the paper work, and that is to show that
Mr. ***** was fully aware of all our work and recommendations, he signed, initialed, and dated
our paper work. He also has the exact same copies which were given on the day he picked up the
vehicle. One thing we do want to make one thing clear is that we did not damage the wiring, and
we would never directly wire a solenoid as it could cause issues due to much volage. We called
Mr. ***** to tell him the wires were damaged and that we had used wire harness that we were
willing to replace for him at no cost to help him, yet he refused it. When working on engines, we
call customers to recommend anything we see that looks old, worn, damaged, broken, etc. and if
the customer says don’t replace that we don’t. We do the work that the customer allows us to do,
any issues after that we try to help, and if they do not want to accept our help it is out of our
hands, but we try. If Mr. ***** is having issues with his engine and anything he approved us to
replace he is more than welcome to come to our office to drop off the vehicle for an inspection.
If there is an issue with any approved accessories or the engine long block, we will replace or
repair anything that is under warranty. To make one thing clear if there is an issue with parts that
are not under warranty, he is aware that he will have to pay for the part, labor, and tax for the
work needed.
NOTE:
1. We will be attaching our invoices he signed and dated, please read the dates on those
forms. Pay attention to the recommendation form, as this will show that he was aware of
the code since, and issues he could be having with the codes he submitted since 12/09/24
and you will see what he approved and refused us to replace. He was not charged for any
refused parts.
Thank you,

May 24, 2022 I towed my 2013 dodge journey to International Engines LLC and was told I needed a new engine. When the work was completed I picked up my vehicle and was told I had a 1 year warranty. But for the warranty to be valid I must bring my car back when I reached 500 miles. ***** leaving the shop my engine light came on so I turned around and went back. I was told I had faulty knock sensors which was not apart of the engine repair. On June 10, 2022 I took my car in for the 500 mile service so the warranty would be valid. I started seeing oil on the driveway and took my car back on 6/25/22. I was told I had a leaking gasket replaced and ignition coil set replaced and charged for parts. May 24, 2023 I took my car back because it had no power when excelling and the engine sounded like a hot rod. I was told the engine was under warranty but the labor was not and the amount was double the amount I paid the previous year because I needed another engine repair. My car was not completed until August 18, 2023 because they were short staffed and didnt have anybody available to do the repairs. I was given another warranty but only valid with 500 mile service check which was done 8/29/23. I was driving and the engine was sounding different so I took it back and was told the exhaust manifold was cracked. I asked how did it crack and was told due to overheating but my car never overheated. I was charged for labor and parts. I contacted a different shop and asked how does the manifold crack. A front collision or bolting it too tight are the only ways it will crack. October 14, 23 my oil change reminder came on, I had it changed on October 20, 23 and was told I had oil in the radiator and the gasket not being sealed properly is the only was antifreeze would be in the radiator overflow. I called the shop and was told to have it towed in because driving the car will make it worse. Im back to relying on other people for rides to work and weekly doctors appointments.Business Response

In response to *********************************** (********) complaint we would like to state that the vehicle has nothing wrong with the engine our product, we have been trying to contact the customer but we have been getting messages that the phone number is not taking calls at this time. Regardless of that we would like to take the opportunity here to let ********************** (********) know that the vehicle has been ready for pick up. The issue with the with the oil and water mix was only in the cooling system, not internal to the engine. This is due to the system being contaminated. We recommend the vehicle to be driven and returned to us if the customer notices anymore contaminate in the system so we may flush it out. When a cooling system is contaminated you will see oil and water mixed, it is normal to see and is recommended to have flushes done until the contaminate is cleaned out, the heater core is a small radiator that is difficult to clean out unless you replace it, but with enough flushes the system will clean itself out. We have been driving the vehicle to assure the engine is not overheating and the engine is working fine. If there is any questions or concerns please call our office *************

In response to *********************************** complaint. We would like to state that ****************** has already picked up his vehicle on 12-15-2022. We had to do some repairs that were not under warranty, but out of good faith to ******************, we did not charge him because of the time he was patiently waiting. The issues he encountered were with a leaking a/c hose and a leaking gasket, this was resolved at no cost. If the customer has any further issues with ******************** we did, he has warranty and is more than welcome to call or bring in the vehicle for an inspection, we recommend that if he is currently experiencing issues to call us A.S.A.P. We do not recommend waiting because the issue may get worse and we want to avoid warranties being voided.Customer Answer
