Received a phone call from ************** where I was left a voicemail to call Capital Processing Group and speak to an "attorney".I called and I was talked over while it was explained that I owed some aprox. $400 from a *************** account I had opened when I was 17. I'm ****************************************** my early 20s and have no collections or outstanding items and I have a stable and normal job and make good income. I know this debt was already taken care of many years ago although I don't remember what year exactly.The man proceeded to cut me off and tell me that I couldn't handle my debt and that he was transferring me to his lawyer.His "attorney" ******** came on the phone as a "favor to his friend" and proceeded to act like a very mentally sick individual. Apart from the below there were approximately 50 other insults that I couldn't even keep track of. To the best of my recollection, he told me the following:"I was a bean and I need to go finish building the wall.""Oink Oink I need to get on a treadmill.""I know everything about you, proceeds to attempt to name my siblings.""That I was from Mexico and ***** POWER." When I replied I wasn't from ******, what was he even saying, he said it didn't matter and names other hispanic countries."That I was lazy and needed to pay my debt.""That people like me are whats wrong with this country.""That because I used the phrase 'intimidation' I had tons of debt collectors already calling me." Because ******** can't fathom someone knowing when something isn't right, legal, or even legit.There were so many racial slurs' I can't even repeat comfortably. The main point is that I was harassed by this company and I hope in fact he was recording because I am also going to take steps via the attorney general.This business is a nasty piece of work with people who belong in a hospital not calling people at their homes. Please do not give in to this business's fear tactics and give them money.
