1 starSilver Rock is very deceptive in it's practices. I purchased a vehicle from ******* which includes a 100 day/4000 mile warranty which Silver Rock is NOT fully honoring. They had to cover 2 mechanical issues with the vehicle and when a 3rd issue was discovered, all of a sudden that problem is not a covered fix after I had already been told that I would be reimbursed my out of pocket expense of $200.00. I was made aware that the vehicle would need new tires at my own expense; which is fine. The problem is that once the tires were removed, it was discovered that one rim/wheel was bent and would need to be repaired so I had it repaired at a cost of $200.00. I was then sent an email from Silver Rock to submit the repair facilities invoice and proof of payment which I did within 3 hours. The next day, July 24, 2025 I got an email from SilverRock stating that they received my documents, the reimbursement process had begun and to expect it in 72 business hours. I called them today after not receiving my reimbursement only to be told that they would not be honoring the email notification and I will not be getting reimbursed the $200 USD because it wasn't discovered within the first 10 days. I was verbally told that it was a covered expense and received written confirmation that I would get my money back and they should be made to honor their word. What they are doing is deceptive and wrong.SilverRock

1 starWarranty and customer support are useless, unprofessional, and morally corrupt. They are conspiring with carvana.******* sells known damaged vehicles, then claims normal wear and tear after the fact, even with photographic evidence to the contrary. They do not honor the warranties they sell. please beware of their unethical tactics.SilverRock

1 starI purchased an SUV that I thought just had a mild shuddering problem. It had ******* miles on it, and I was assured that because I purchased GAP and extended warranty that I could get it repaired for free. I filed a claim and took it the repair center suggested. They were not able to fix it but Silverock paid them to diagnose it. And suggested that I take it to a transmission place or take it to *****. I let the dealership know every step. Meanwhile, the backup camera started looking crazy and rainbow colored, the sun visor fell off in my face, the cruise control stopped working, the battery died, the coolant fan wouldn't turn off causing the battery to die. Spoke to Silverock and was told everything would be covered. I purchased a new battery, and a sun visor. ***** was too busy for me Thursday and Friday. Saturday I had to go out of town on an emergency. When I came back and took the car in to *****. (assuming they would be a better option, because it was after all, a *****. Then was told that they would cover NOTHING because of the extra miles I put on the car over the weekend! I was devastated! I had the car for 4 weeks! I called the dealership and was told to take it to a shop that quite frankly looked frightening, and was in another state. The shop owner was not even there!!! No one was there! The shuddering has progressed. I then took it to another shop to at least get the fan to stop so that it wouldn't ruin my brand new battery. $400 + later, my sun visor is fixed and the fan stopped. However because there is not a code yet on my transmission that needs ONLY flushing, they won't cover that. The transmission would have to fall out as I am driving maybe. But I am sure they would find an excuse not to cover that also. ****** consumer, *******! I am writing everybody!!!SilverRock

1 starPurchased a 2020 *** X7 on July *******. Took the vehicle to a *** service center on July *******. We noticed a shuddering in the engine compartment. The mechanic found a faulty transfer case. A replacement on this job is $8640.00 including labor and parts.Called Carvana. They asked me to call Silverrock (their sister company) to file a claim. No, thank you. This should be addressed and paid for by ******* and we should not be left with a $50,000 vechile that was stated to be unsafe to drive by our mechanic. If we file with Silverrock, they will most likely deny the claim or send the dealership a used transfer case to replace. We will be suing both Carvana and Silverrock. The best hike should not have passed Carvana *********************** the first ********* dare ******* put myself and my family in an unsafe vehicle.SilverRock

1 starI purchaed a 2014 ***** Sonic from Drivetime. I took four trips and a repair before it could pass. They kept noting a "Large Leak". Well come to find out the car had a ********** Cooler leak, and it had a motor mount that was broken, and a CV axel that needs to be replaced. Silver Rorck has denied the claim stating it is not included in the warrenty. I will never do business with Silver rock or drive time and I am advising my family and friends to not get caught up in business transactions. I would rate this as a zero company to deal with.SilverRock

1 starThe car I purchased had issues immediately. I get it into an independent shop for a non-biased inspection, they confirm my suspicions. I then go through SilverRocks process to handle the repairs. Their preferred shop and I are fairly confident that it should be simple, seeing as how I have had the car 13 days at this point, and less than 100 miles. The shop calls me 2 days later saying Silver Rock doesnt want them to do the repairs, and that Ill have to contact SilverRock. I contact SilverRock and they tell me that the shop itself couldnt do the repairs, and that their appraiser is calling around at other shops to see if they can do the repairs for me. That I will get a message from them with the information for the new shop so I can take my car there for repairs. I ask if the adjuster will be handling communications with the shop, and I am told that SilverRock will handle communications between both shops. I think Awesome. This is a little annoying, but theyre making this very simple for me. Two days later and its radio silence, so I ask for an update. The representative says that the claims notes say it will be getting referred to a secondary location if the shop cant assist, and Ill get an update. No update, and last I checked, the shop wanted to help, SilverRock didnt want to pay. I message again today, after a full week, and Im getting told the shop isnt responding to them, and I was supposed to be arranging a new diagnostic screening somewhere else. They put everything on me, and the shop who was actually communicating and helping. All SilverRock did was confirm my disdain for companies like theirs. They really do keep their money and yours. Im more than dissatisfied, Im absolutely crushed.SilverRock

5 starsI purchased my 2018 **** Escape from ******* in 2021 with the Silver Rock warranty. With ******* miles on the car I dropped it off for routine service. I was called and they were unable to remove a spark plug and told I needed the motor replaced. After only a few days Silver Rock approved the repair to my delight. I was very concerned with all the negative reviews I have read. Thank you Silver Rock for making this process stress free. Shame on **** for not recalling the 2017/18 motors that had an obvious defect.Review fromThomas G

1 starI bought a truck from ******* which had bad tires and brakes Silver Rock replaced the tires and when it came to the brakes, they would not cover replacing the pads even though they agreed to pay for the Rotors. The manufacture requires replacement of the Pad anytime a Rotor is replaced or it will cause premature failure of the brake pads. Silver Rock refused to pay for the pads saying that the pads had 60% life remaining. Even though they agreed that the pads should be replaced when the Rotors are replaced, they refused to cover the pads. Due to my persistence with *******, ******* covered the price of the pads, which was $220,00. I would advise that the Consumer beware when dealing with Silver Rock. I also found out during this inconvenience that Silver Rock is slow about paying claims and is notorious for denying claims that they admit they are legitimate claimsSilverRock

1 starI would leave a zero if I could. They deny almost every claim and almost zero actually ase Certified repair shops. It gets better, if you do get a repair and then try to cancel your policy they will refund you zero dollars on your policy. This company, like *******, is a scam. Don't be fooled. They are just here to take your money. ***** warranty company ever!!!SilverRock
