    August 1st a Semper Fi ***air person came to do a $49.99 Freon ***lacement. I have 2 HV**s. The *** insisted one of the 2 ** units needed ***laced due to energy efficiency. I was quoted $14,100. For 1 unit. A 15.5 sear 4 ton HV** based on our sq footage was required for the downstairs of our home. Work was completed on 8/2/25 and paid in full with check and they returned 2 hours later to get tools they forgot and we explained the ** was not working, the tech told us to wait 24 hours. We called on 8/4/25 as the ** was not blowing. They sent a expert out on 8/6/25 to trouble shoot. This expert sd the new thermostat was not hooked up properly and found no other issues. Meanwhile, no cooling. I called on 8/9/25 as the ** was still not working, and it was taxing my other ** unit upstairs to help cool the downstairs, driving our utility bill up and wearing out our older unit. The new ** was running but not cooling at all. Several attempts to get someone to come out, they promsied a time, we waited 8 hours and no one showed and wanted to come at midnight, so we declined to the next day and it wasn't until 8/11/25 late afternoon when the new tech ***laced the motor. Now 8/24/25, we called again because the unit is still not cooling the downstairs. I asked on 8/9/25 to speak to ***** the owner, and I have not heard from anyone. We believe we were sold a bad HV** unit and want a brand new one installed. One that works properly of course. We will never use this company again. Additionally, on 8/4/25 we were told that our warranty and rebate would be couriered to us and we still do not have the paperwork. They also left Gray mud on our new carpeting and left old coil and parts in our attic per the ** guy and he never removed the garbage either, as they promised when we were sold this bill of goods. The items are still in the attic. They said they had no vacuum and so we had to clean up their mess, including fiberglass.

    The company has had no contact with me. My son called and he was given a 7 hour window and two men showed up on 8/24/2025 early evening. They two repair people found our break to be "off" which makes no sense. I want the unit replaced. A brand new unit should not be having issues of this nature for a month now.

    I contracted Semper Fi to install a brand-new HVAC unit on 6/6/25. I was impressed with the sales consultants professionalism and booked on the spot. I was told payment would be split (half upon scheduling, half upon completion), yet the full $8K was withdrawn before installation began. No written contract or invoice was provided.From day one, the install was mishandledlasting 14+ hours, done by a trainee, and with no communication or oversight. A technician admitted it shouldve been a two-day job. They left a hole in my ceiling without warning; drywall repair was delegated to a third party with weeks-long delays, leaving my new AC cooling the outdoors.Within weeks, I had hissing, leaks, and failures. Multiple techs (most unfamiliar with the unit type) have been dispatched, but issues persist: poor drainage, incorrect piping pitch, refrigerant overcharge, compressor failure, and repeated water damage. Instead of a true fix, I was given temporary workarounds. Ive lost multiple workdays to emergency ********* of 7/30/25, my ceiling leaked multiple times in a week. I was told to shut the unit off while waiting for an unknown part. The eventual fix was a pump, but the tech admitted the unit was never installed correctlymeaning if this bandaid fails, leaks will return. A month later, no drywall repair has been done, and after two months of water pooling above my ceiling, theres no guarantee mold hasnt formed.Despite repeated calls and emails for restitution, the system remains unreliable, installation incomplete, and the disruption ongoing. I am seeking resolution through the BBB after over two months of failed attempts to resolve directly with Semper Fi, as this now also poses a potential health hazard from mold.

    Sending yet another technician does not resolve the underlying issues. The field supervisor you sent is the third staff member to confirm that the installation was never done correctly. He even indicated that another crew would need to revisit and reinstall the air handler-further disrupting my time-because the original installation was improper.


    This does not address the potential mold in my ceiling or the drywall repair, which I was told had a request submitted on 7/9. It has now been five weeks with no repair and further separation of the ceiling.


    At this point, the unit must either be fully reinstalled, inspected for mold, and the drywall repaired promptly at no cost to me, or I request that the unit be removed and my payment refunded.

    We were out on 8-15-2025, we removed and reinstalled the indoor air handler. The unit is functioning properly, the leak has been repaired. We have our drywall contractor going out on 8-19-2025 to check for needed drywall repair and any issues with mold.

    The timeline of the specific issues we have encountered since installation, include:Installation 7/21/2022 was unprofessional, Screws, trash left all over air handler attic space, the wires outside on ground unit were excessively exposed. Had to request a field supervisor to come and safety inspect after installation was done by techs. Was promised air return registers would be ***laced on installation and they were not. 08/18/2022 email to Semper Fi to request a 6-month eval/Maintenace check. Reported unusual noise from air handler. No communication received from Semper Fi. 11/2022 scheduled online with Semper Fi for same month, Semper Fi communicated by text cancelling appointment due to escalated AC issues for summer.1/2023 scheduled online with Semper Fi for 1/12/2023, Semper Fi no show 1/13/2023 Called Semper ************ and informed of two previous attempts for scheduling, was scheduled for 2/8/2023 9a-11a. Reminded tech of return registers were never installed.2/8/2023 Service tech showed and completed inspection and identified compressor needing ***lacement and defrost boards was ***laced. 8/2023 scheduled with Semper Fi *** for Maintance check on 9/7/2023.9/7/2023 Semper Fi communicated by text cancelling appointment due to escalated AC issues for summer.12/2023 scheduled with Semper Fi *** 1/2/2025 Semper *********** capacitor ***laced, Reminded tech of return registers were never installed.1/7/2025 Semper Fi tech ***laced return registers.6/13/2025 Semper Fi maintenance, identified air handler blower motor burnt out. 6/17/2025 x2 Semper FI warranty and installation inspections, testing performed 6/19/2025 Semper Fi ***laced air handler blower motor 08/05/2025 Issues with outside ground unit condenser, making weird noises, running in 30 seconds intervals, shutting off and turning on not normally, is not cooling the house. House deg 85F, when called Semper fi 10pm. 08/06/2025 It is now 12:30pm 8/6/25-sitting in 85F home with two little kids

    We paid 13k+ for a new ac unit. The first unit never performed appropriately. After several visits, their employee said "he knew these units would never work for ** and he advised management not to install them" We then allowed them to install another type of unit. Two weeks later it went out. A brand new unit should not go out within 2 weeks. We told them that was our final straw. If it went out again, it was clear they were incapable of delivering the service they were hired for. 8 months later and our unit is frozen again--the copper pipe outside has ice around it. Both drain pipes are pouring out liquid,. Their team continuously ****** our calls. We just want our money back and this company should never work in HVAC AGAIN,

    We used SemperFi to install a complete new A/C unit (condenser in attic and outside unit) in April of 2024 with a 10 YEAR warranty. The condenser unit outside quit this morning a 2AM. I called SemperFi at 6:30 and 9AM and didn't get a call back until 10AM AFTER I requested an appointment online. When I explained that this is an emergency (as we're expecting 105+ temps outside), and broke A/C unit with those temps is not safe.The service lady just said "unfortunately we're booked for the next two days" and scheduled me for Tuesday (07/15) like it wasn't some big deal.

    Had complete ac replacement had a problem with air flow up stair bed rooms they came out did some thing that made master flow really strong but now there is no to other up stair rooms .they cam out and looked at it and said someone would call me and schedule for repair two weeks have past and have called twice and still no call back to get the problem fixed

    I called this company about three weeks ago for them to come look at the ** unit that wasn't working. Instead of sending out a repairman, they sent a salesman instead. They had already decided that they were not going to repair the unit, only replace it. All this without even looking at it Then the salesman draws up an application with a company that he himself stated was hard to work with, and when that didn't go thru he tried a different company that he said was better and and had a lower interest rate. Then why the h*** didn't he go with them to start with? He purposely wanted me to pay more for the unit?? Highly dishonest. I don't really know now if the unit really couldn't be repaired, they seem to not have any of the pictures they took to "prove" I needed a new unit. They don't even have any of the pictures they took during and after installation. Highly suspicious. Now, three weeks later, the unit is not working. It's been the hottest few days so far this summer and we are literally baking in the house, pets are lethargic and whining. They say they're busy and can't come out. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Take the money and run, that should be their new name. So now I'm highly in debt without a working ** unit!! They try to play up the "military" aspect just to make themselves look better. Seriously, they are deleting unfavorable posts on social media. How disgusting can they get.

    The business stated they "pulled some strings" to get someone out to look at the current issue. They said it was the thermostat that failed. The issue is the dishonesty, deceit they continue to inflict on us. The deleting of unfavorable reviews. The fact that they had no intention of fixing our prior ac unit. These workers travel in pairs out in the wild, but in our case they only sent out a salesman. Their only intention that day was to sell a new unit. The salesman kept going on about if there was anyone else, a sister, another family member, friend, guy living in the corner that could pay for new unit. He then moves on to a "better" finance company with better rates. Why the h*** didn't he go with them first?? Are they getting something from that "hard to work with" company, bringing in victims ? Then there is the issue that not a single photo has been sent/given over to us. Not any that the salesman took, which no one can actually prove was our unit. Not a single photo of the new unit as it was being installed or any of its completion. Again there is no proof of what was actually installed. Everytime we call they can't anything that they've actually done any work at this address. We were told that we'd receive certain communications, photos within the hour. It's been a month and nothing, still nothing. What they saw was two elderly woman use AC wasn't cooling and had already decided that we were their next victims. If you look at their website, the only two things you'll find are glowing reviews, not a one less than 5stars and they all state that the units were new installations. Nothing about repairs, only replacements. That should have been the big red flag plus them not sending out a repairman only a salesman. They're untrustworthy, poor followup or any customer service.

    They are still not responding to original complaint of their deceitful business practices. They have still not provided any of the photos of the original unit, or any of the installation of the new one. They've refused to address how the "sale" was handled, their deletion of unfavorable reviews and the unreal reviews on their website. It was more "buy or else" and we don't care who pays just so someone does. So they replaced the thermostat, three weeks in and it already failed. The new one is now displaying " update available" which broke the first one. We won't update just to have unit fail again and then refuse to come out.

    I purchased a new air conditioning unit on April 1st. On June 2nd, my tenant informed me it was not working. I contacted Semper Fi and they had ***** come to house to repair. He repgrammed thermostat and it worked. On 6/4 the ****** contacted me that it was not working again. ***** went out again and replaced thermostat and said motor and other parts were bad. AC worked temporarily. Semper Fi left a VM on 6/10 that parts were in. I did not get message until 6/13. I had them contact ****** to arrange install. They never did. Tenant informed me on 6/20 he called and was told parts on back order (the vm said they were in on 6/10). On 6/21 AC stopped working again. I called and they brought out a temporarily unit until parts were in. I called on 6/26 and was told that repair would happen between 1 and 5. I called Tenant to see if he had gotten call for tech to be there. He hadn't. I called again at 6 p.m. and was told ***** would be there between 5 and 8. I called Tenant and no one showed or called. I spent over $6,000 on a bad unit. I want it replaced with a new, working unit.

    Was charged for duct cleaning services that were never performed. After being told we would receive a check, nothing came.Have been trying to get this resolved over the last few weeks.

    I contracted with Semper Fi Heating and cooling for a new Bosch ac/ heating package, with a 10 manufacturer ********, around 5/2022, with an additional LABOR warranty. I was also sold on an air purification system, that invoice for $3145.00 included; coil cleaning, blower wheel pull and clean, and dryer vent cleaning( my dryer is outside, no vent to clean) mind you the unit is brand new. Oct, 25, 2023 I was charged for evap coil cleaning and replacing condenser blower fan motor, both would have been a warranty covered ******* January of 2024 I was charged an additional $393.20 for a surge protector. However, labor wasn't charged to the warranty company. Oct 28, 2024 the system wasn't cooling properly, tect came out to find a twisted pipe that the freon escaped from( how?) Never ran it through either warranty( it would have been covered) then charged me $4220.00 for what they claim is "duct cleaning" average duct cleaning is about $200, WHAT DID THEY DO FOR $4220.00?? again I have a labor warranty, (USE IT) which included dryer vent cleaning never done,(again it's an outdoor unit). I have been asking for months for invoices, detailed work orders, how many.labor hours, job cost breakdown. Nothing! I recently received vague invoices, but nothing that denotes, what exactly was done how much for labor, or WHY WASN'T IT RUN THROUGH MY TWO WARRANTY COMPANIES!! Their lack of transparency, lack of customer concerns after purchase, errouneous billing and billing for items not done, not submitting to warranty companies for reimbursement on clearly warranty issues that would have been covered IF THEY HAD BEEN SUBMITTED and i would not have additional charges FOR A NEW UNIT, I'm on S.S and $ is Tight! I would like this resolved and will update my complaint after I receive a refund check that clears my bank account. I believe they have taken advantage of my lack of contracting knowledge, the fact that I'm elderly, live 4 mths out of state,my disabled daughter and myself.
