Action Mechanical was sent out for a non-working exhaust fan and the other one which was falling apart They said there was nothing wrong with the second one the first one that was completely dead they said that it was inaccessible because there was drywall in the way which is completely untrue the part was readily available and the motor replacement is done through the exhaust fan opening which I did myself in 15 minutes trying to charge me $245 because they wanted to replace the entire unit rather than the motor is fraud and this has been reported to the warranty company along with the photos of the replacement motor and the installation.I'm in construction and work on HVAC and electrical renovations every day I am posting this review on this board to warn other potential victims of their scam.

Action mechanical AC guy was sent by home warranty company. He wanted to charge $300 for just taping the wire bitten by rats next to the unit, claiming that it was not covered by warranty. Also wanted to put insulation foam on three AC units pipes for $600. Upon us declining he had my son sign off his report and left in a ****. He had written racial slurs in his report.

Action Mechanical made 4 VISITS under my home warranty. They seemed obsessed with (1) rewiring and then (2) replacing the thermostat (TWO SEPARATE VISITS), which was NOT the problem. THIRD VISIT they said it would cost me $1200 to pull the air handling unit out of the closet in order to open the electrical panel that a hose was blocking. They left. My brother came over and removed the panel within 30 seconds. I immediately called them back. They set another appointment for 3 DAYS LATER. FOURTH VISIT, now that the panel was off, all they did was REPLACE A FUSE. If they had checked the circuit panel they would have seen it was damaged, along with some of the wiring, DUE TO THE ***** BLOWING. ******, who came out 3 times, was rude and never explained or showed me anything. My dog didn't even like him. It finally cost me $840 to use a reputable company (who removed the panel in about 20 seconds) to fix the problem after ACTION MECHANICAL'S INCOMPETENCE ACTUALLY DAMAGED MY AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. One whole month of being without air conditioning in **********, 110 degree weather. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use this company. I fully expect their response to be filled with lies. If I was a liar, I wouldn't have wasted my time and anger here.

We were contracted thru her home warranty company. They denied her claim due to the copper pipe being in the way of the panel to access the interior of the air handler. Our techs were not willing to remove the panel because it could have damaged the Freon line which could in turn make the unit leak or damaged the air handler front cover panel which would make the panel not fit properly. At this point the homeowner sent us a threatening email in which she state she had contacted news channel 3 because we could not make the repairs to her unit. The owner of the company called her directly to clear up this matter letting her know it is up to the home warranty company to approve the repair of her unit and they denied it due to access reasons. Our owner absorbed the cost of the next 3 visits due trying to help this homeowner. We feel at this time we have gone above and beyond for this customer. This is what happens when you go above and beyond and try to help a homeowner with a repair that is not covered by their home warranty company? Also we are not sure what the dog not liking the tech has to do with anything.

Action Mechanical Services LLC, Installed a new AC on top of roof. There was air leaking, I asked to the technician to remedy, he taped but reluctant and arguing with me. I Called this company to inform them of the fact and ask them to send another technician to verify that there is no more air leaking. Well, they told me that this will cost me 150, If there are no leaks. If there are leak would be no cost. I have bewildered that I have to pay for a business to verify or supervise the type of job an associate performed. I was disappointed with this business how they operate, No quality service for customers. When I called the supervisor or boss was very impolite and hung up the phone. All this service was under home warranty, unfortunately they send me this business I should choose a different company. Hope they can improve the after service.

We are requesting this comment to not be published. ************* acted unlike other homeowners. While our techs were installing her unit she used our ladder to get up on the roof which is against our policy as its an insurance liability as well as a safety issue not only for her but for our techs. ************* was acting as a general contractor and trying to tell our techs how to install a unit. She did tell one of the techs that air was leaking and he checked and there was not an air leak. Our tech brought this to the lead installers attention and the lead installer also checked for air leaks and there were no leaks. When ************* called into the office about the issue we were already aware of her issue and this was already inspected. We had no reason to go out to the property again. This escalated to the owner of the company who also was actually out at that install the day of and he explained to her that there were no air leaks and he would send a truck out to inspect this again but she would be charged for a service call if we found no air leaks. She argued and after about 10 minutes the owner ended the phone call because it was the same thing being said over and over. He did not hang up on her he just said he was going to end the conversation because it was the same thing being said over and over. Our installers do this on a daily basis. We have never had an air leak with any of our installs and we complete multiple installs per week. If you have any questions please call our office.
