I called Cummings on Friday (1/30/2026) to request repair of a leak in the ceiling. I assumed they would send a repairman but instead they sent a salesman who for nearly an hour (and without ever examining the leak and pipe) attempted to convince me that for my safety and wellbeing that my entire home should be repiped at a cost of $25,REMOVEDrepair was attempted until I relented and signed and then in less than 5 minutes, a repair person arrived and did a temporary fix as the salesman had already scheduled the whole house repair for the following Monday, (2/2/2026.) The pipes that needed replacing were the exact type of pipe which would have been used by Cummings (viegapex tubing.) Although the salesman insisted that theirs was better. The issue was one defective clip and again I was told that he had seen many of these lately and for my safety I should proceed with the repipe. Fortunately, I asked for 24 hours to reconsider and canceled the contract - a copy of which I never received. I was charged $2,005.25 for a repair that took less than 45 minutes. I am a widow living alone and feel that Cummings participates in less than reputable business practices. It doesnt seem right to prey upon the elderly and the vulnerable. I would have left no stars or minus if the site had allowed.

We have discussed this situation with our technicians on site when your domestic water fitting ruptured and caused significant water damage in your home. We are in the process of determining if in fact that fitting is a REMOVEDpex clamp that failed. As explained, The pipe is not the issue here, It is the fitting(s) that failed. There is no product stamp on the rings holding the pipe to the brass fitting, so we are doing our best to determine if this installed system at the time the home was constructed comes under the class action suit in order for you to receive relief for this repair and potential future repairs caused by this significant system failure. Unfortunately, these type of clip secure fittings have been used throughout greater the REMOVEDarea. We've recently responded to the same type of issue other homes. We complete many projects for our elderly customers, exactly why we have in house training In our Cummings Plumbing Academy weekly, we instruct our technician's to advise our elderly customers to consult with family members, and neighbors before making a project decision, which to our understanding happened be the case in your situation, with the referral from your friend that we completed a very large plumbing project for. As stated, we are in the process of investigating the fitting that for no apparent reason, cracked in half and flooded your home. We will be reaching out to you soon with our findings. We will find out if your potable water plumbing system qualifies for class action funding, those exact fittings happened to be used throughout your home. .

Upon further review, your plumbing system is comprised of stainless steel "quik clamps" these exact fittings where under a class action lawsuit from 2012 to 2020- you had to have a flood to get compensation between those dates. Unfortunatly, we will not be able to assist you in getting funding for your defective fittings. However, we are experiencing more issues as of late with these exact fittings. There is a potential of a follow up lawsuit extension due to the cost of repairing homes that flood out due to the "clamps" seperating, for no appearent reason. As always we will be here to help.

Excellent service. My mother bought a Flipped house and after 7 years the supposed "New" AC/heat roof unit died. HAD to replace the whole Unit. Got estimates and went with Cummings. No regrets. We had a recent inspection due to selling and he said the unit was still in excellent condition!. Thanks REMOVEDP and the quick and efficient work! He had a crane at the house within 2 days. 5 stars!

We had a water in the front yard which required installing a new water line. That sounds like a simple job but wasn't. The Cummings supervisor REMOVEDsorted out the source of the leak and planed the repair. REMOVEDwas a very good communicator and technician. His crew of REMOVEDand REMOVEDknew what to do and executed the installation of the new water line with skill and hard work. Also, they are a couple of nice guys. We are very pleased with the service rendered.

The plumbing repairs were done satisfactorily. The workers were polite and efficient. That's the good part. They also showed up 2 hours late and the agreed upon estimate had said it would take a minimum of a half day possibly a little more than a day. The bill was over $3,200. All together two workers were here for 3 hours is all and of that over an hour was them sitting on the steps waiting for parts and/ or for the pipe glue to dry. I'm happy the repairs are made and completely disgusted at paying well over $1,000 an hour.

On 29 OCT 25 we spoke and had a very cordial conversation, as to the scope of work, I advised you that we would have a conference with all parties involved ,about your job the following morning. We did that. I have personally called you 4 times since the last time we talked and I informed you we would find out the relevant information and get back with you. Each of those calls have not been returned as of yet. ( 31 OCT 25 @1346hrs.) I am not calling you again, at this point it feels like I'm harassing you. Please call our office back so I can resolve this issue. Regards, REMOVED. GM Cummings PHC&E

REMOVEDcame out and said he would have to try to find the parts for repair. He said he could do a shark bite repair but there was no warranty for that repair and then he talked about a recipe. I asked him to contact my insurance adjuster to see what insurance would cover and never heard anything for 4 days from him. He came out on the 10th, today is the 16th and I have used my home warranty to get the repairs done. Very disappointed and upset.

We have no record of you wanting us to reach out to your insurance company. Please by all means reach out to our office so we can resolve your insurance issue. We have called you multiple times with no return call. We deal with insurance companies daily, That is why this comment is difficult to accept. The only issue that may have occurred is lack of communication. We can rectify that immediately with a return phone call.

In December 2024, we called Cummings Plumbing and requested replacement of our 10 year-old portable water expansion tanks, fittings, valves, and heater tanks proactively to prevent problems, since we knew that leaks could occur. We had to pay out many thousands of dollars in repairs and remediation expenses in August and September 2025 due to a rusted-out ruptured portable water expansion tank that Cummings did not replace as requested. It cracked 8/19/25, sending a powerful jet of water through our drywall, deep into our home's walls. Our adjacent master bedroom closet and pantry sustained damage.I found out on 8/20/25 from REMOVEDthat we did not receive new portable water expansion tanks, fittings, valves as we had requested. The old portable water expansion tank and fittings were left in place at that time. We were given an estimate for the least expensive option for our work in December 2024 according to REMOVED, even though expenses were not an issue. We had requested a complete exchange of our hardware for new expansion tanks and heater tanks at that time. REMOVEDshowed me on 8/20/25 a more expensive package on his tablet which would have included the expansion tanks and fittings which we received no details of last REMOVEDthe time of the expansion tank leak on 8/19/25, we had a $4300 faucet replacement job pending with you, and we had been good customers with you in the past (check record of our prior work with your company).REMOVED(general manager here in REMOVED) and REMOVED(plumbing supervisor who came out and saw the damage at our home) offered us no assistance / reimbursement for our substantial expenses after the expansion tank leak. REMOVEDoffered only a $213 discount on future work with Cummings Plumbing. We canceled our faucet replacement job with you, and will no longer recommend Cummings Plumbing to others or do business with you.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. We always learn from our past experiences, since we installed both of your water heaters in December of 24' ,we now make sure to communicate in person with our customers what the job will entail. As I discussed with you in Aug. of 25, our technician gave you 3 different options to replace both of your water heaters. The Basic change out option was chosen out of the 3 options. At the time of the Estimate, you were not there, then called in days later to get the project completed. The other options included an expansion tank change out option. The basic water heater change out option did not include replacing the existing expansion tanks. The issue arose when we returned and did not go over the water heater replacement options thoroughly and in person. As, you stated to me the cost of the project was not an issue, and we assumed that you understood the basic change out price did not include expansion tank change out as well. Due to the lack of communication, on our part, the result was a very unusual crack in one of the existing expansion tanks after we completed the change out almost 2 years after the completion of the basic water heater replacements. We are grateful for your many previous projects you used us on since 21', and we have definitely learned that customer communication is key. Again, thank you for your constructive criticism.

Decided to call cummins plumbing and cooling for a mini split issue was very disappointed with there service. They charged REMOVEDcoils were needing a cleaning charge 500 dollars to then tell me i needed and it would be over 2000 for installation and part. Have gone with another company and they have fixed it for 400 and did need a new part. I feel robbed . Be careful

They installed a mini split in my living room, it has constantly made noise and the heater didnt work for two years because they refused to change out the electrical panel. When they finally did, it worked, but they never fixed the noise. Now I have to replace it because I cant read in the living room. They should be ashamed of themselves for not standing up to their warranty. Theyre definitely not going for repeat business, they dont care. They used to be the best but theyre not anymore. There are other companies out there that actually stand up to their warranties and treat you better.

We appreciate working together over the years on multiple projects at your home. We would greatly appreciate a return call to discuss the warranty issue one on the mini-split systems we installed. As you know we replaced the system in the bedroom that was under warranty. Unfortunately, the Living room system was dismantled by another company which voids the warranty as is standard practice in the REMOVEDbusiness across the REMOVED... Again, give us a call to discuss this matter to a greater extent. We pride ourselves with working together with our customers to solve issues that may arise. We will be standing by for your return call.
