1 starWe needed a new bay window in our kitchen because the wood was rotting. We were told that we needed a new roof because without one the water that dripped in would continue. When it would rain heavily, it was like a waterfall coming into the house. We called ErieHome and they said they would take monthly payments. They came with their sales pitch. They said the payments would be about 345.00 per month. We signed a contract but who really reads the fine print on a contract. The loan company called and said that the total amount was 29,000.00. We gave ErieHome 1,000.00 up front so that brought it down to 28,000,00 Erie then said they would bring down the cost to 26,000.00. REMOVED said he would send us a check for about 2800.00 because we raised such a fuss. Loan company called to see if the resolution of getting the 2,800.00 was resolved. We said yes, REMOVEDis sending us a check. We haven't received it yet and it has been 2 weeks. The loan company then told us it was a 20 YEAR LOAN. I did the math and 345.00 x 12 months is 4,140.00 and times that by 20 years and the total amount if we just made the minimum payment every month would be a total of 82,800.00. My husband and I are 65 years old. We don't know if we will still be alive in 20 years. We couldn't believe what we were hearing. I reached out to REMOVED some kind of manager at Erie. I spoke in a loud voice and he hung up on me. I called him back and he didn't answer the phone. I texted him and told him that I am reporting Erie Home to the BBB. He didn't respond. So here I am at 2:45 am writing this. I have been up since 12:34 am because of this situation. I probably won't sleep ever again worrying about this. I want to report them to the BBB because of their way of taking advantage of older people. They are such a scammer company so I wanted to write this to let other people know so they don't get scammed like we did.

1 starGary home put a $21,000 roof on my home in November of 2021 the lake is the reason in the kitchen you could tell the ceiling had a watermark around the light this is the reason I bought the roof and it still has the water spot every time it rains they have been out numerous times at least other people out and every single time they try to say that it's not the roof it is definitely still leaking I have pictures of it from 2021 when I got the estimate and still pictures today look the same they want to blame it on everything but the roof they ignore me I called to leave a message at corporate they blow me off they don't call me back and REMOVEDwas my install manager and he is the rudest person he acts like he has something against women like I'm stupid I've been dealing with this the roof leaked in December of 21 right after it was put on they have done everything in their power not to fix it it's still leaks they are breaching the warranty pretty sad you have to get a lawyer to make them fix a roof that has a leak that still leaks after they fixed it you shouldn't have to pay for a lawyer when you have a warranty and the roof was $21,000 they got their money I'm paying the loan this is a very crooked company I have never had a warranty and had a problem with the company like Erie sad and patheticErie Home

5 starsQuality, outstanding products with, intelligent personnel and workmanship, a company that wants, to be in business. Should have called ERIE, YEARS ago. I have had so many amateur contractors in past that just silently, rip me off. Erie has outstanding products that leave, the rest behind.Erie Home

5 starsWhen they saw how bad my roof was they put me on a priority list and had their crew on site within a week, when they were done clean up was done thoroughly and the finished job looks great. Highly recomend.Erie Home
