Since I refused to get a quote and ignored their non-stop phone calls, I've now been receiving calls from *******. I've attached screen shots of my call log to this complaint to show both the sheer volume of calls I have received, and different numbers I have blocked.A little irritated by the amount of times they were calling, I did a quick ****** search to discover that if you do the things I did to stop the annoyance, they will sign you up for spam and/or other trash. This leads me to believe they are "sharing" your information with their "partners" who are turning around and selling that information that was "shared" with them. This is at best shady business practices and at worst totally illegal. They say they don't sell your information, but they will share it with their partners who will sell it to scammers and spammers.

Quality of roof in question. 3 times, went on roof to see if job was correct ( I'm 66 & shouldn't have to do Q/A check project manager not doing his job) The work was done sloppily & damaged shingles. Rough housing on the roof. The flashing is done in an unprofessional manner & had to be done several times before it finally looked better, but not completely professional. At times it sounded like a 300 lb man fell, time & time again. Shingles were tatered, with drag marks & damage. The roof vent was damaged on both levels of the roof. Believe they didn't use correct materials on roof. They said the roof vent melted by the sun & caved in on several spots. They damaged expensive *************** siding & tounge and groove 3 Inch ceiling planks in our ************** They put 9 inch screws through our roof, all the way through to the inside of the garage and house. They reversed the screws, hammered old nails into ceiling- more damage. Said accidentally placed screws on to nails, & drove the nails through ceiling, Lie. The older nails were too old to pull out, they came in my house and hammered them back out, causing more damage to the ceiling. They admitted to the damages & said they take full responsibility for it. Once offered $7500 for damages, but we said we would rather go through insurance; they sent us to another person, said they would give us $1500 for the damages. The damages would cost well over $20000 to pull and replace the ************** boards they damaged. There 40 screws in the garage ceiling and 6 in our hallway, 2 in our bathroom. They sent a text informing us they will send Fed ex notice they're done, & want the rest of money, no final check happened or signed.

      Complaint: 23551340

I am rejecting this response because:  This complaint needs to show it's the **************** in ******** that I am dealing with.  The Ohio office where Headquarters is located has not made any effort to contact us directly.  Also, although this message attached shows they (****************) are offing to rectify the issue once I give them quotes for the damage, I'm asking the complaint to remain open till that resolution is complete.  The reason being the many complaints from individuals that have dealt with this company have had long grueling disputes with this company all over ******************   I still have the installers coming out to correct mistakes that mad on their installation of the roof.  Once that is done and they honestly address the damage done to my property; they can ask once again if I'm happy with the resolution.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ****

Thank you for your continued feedback and for taking the time to clarify your concerns.
We acknowledge your request to have the complaint remain open until all matters are fully resolved. Your experience is important to us, and we understand your desire to ensure that both the repairs and any related damages are properly addressed before the case is closed.
To confirm, your concerns are being managed by our Chantilly, **************** and we apologize if that was not clearly stated in our previous correspondence.
We are coordinating with the installers to ensure the roofing corrections are completed.
Thank you again for your patience and the opportunity to make things right.

      Complaint: 23551340

I am rejecting this response because:

Since the complaint was made, several attempts have been made by your company to "fix" the problems.  The next visit will be their 6th attempt to correct all mistakes done to the roof and now gutters.  The gutter guards that were installed were too big and installed improperly.  Aside from the fact the installation will compromise the protection of the roof, they also look horrid since they had to be shoved under the shingles to make them fit.  This caused the guards to be higher in the back and look very unappealing.  ********************* has offered to come and put the correct size guards on the gutters and fix the ************ underlayment that was torn when the drip edge was cut away and reinstalled.  I still have a Ridge Attic Vent that should have been just a Ridge Cap and is already looking wavy.  There is still drip edge that need to be fixed.  This has been going on for 2 months now and we are growing leery and tired.  We also need the damages addressed.  I have gotten an Acorn Deck House ********* to start writing an estimate and when that is done as well as your compony honors the estimate with a check for the damages done to our ceilings and siding; then I will be satisfied.

      Sincerely,

      ***** **** and ******** ****

We had this 30000.00 dollar roof put on our house and it started leaking. The guys have come up here a couple times and don’t see no leak but we have a video of it coming in my bathroom and now the ceiling is sagging and they keep giving us the run around. I am so upset with them but I don’t know what to do. Please help me get them to fix my roof. They sure won’t do it without someone pushing them too.

Will ***** working forErie Home came to check our leak we had between our new garage and the old one. (Builder did not put flashing in). 7 yrs ago. He asked us to inspect the house and went up into the attic. He came down with pics of dust with water spots on them He said the roof needed to be redone. Several years before **** roofing had inspected the roof and said it was in great shape. He convinced us we needed the whole roof done. I asked him for the paper work he figured out the cost and for a copy of the pictures. He took them and said he would get them to me. Contract 2/7/25. 3/3/25 I called and asked for it. 3/25/25 called again 4/28/25 sent email to him Sent it a second time. 6/2/25 called *********** office. They referred it to OH and she called and told me they DO NT GIVE OUT THAT INFORMATION. I believe there is some cheating going on. This is our info we need to turn into our INSURANCE CO.Without it we have no claim. $57,000 bill that we paid. If roof was that bad we would have been covered

Our sunroom's roof is leaking, Erie home took these skylight windows out to trim their decking for the roof and then put them back, now it's leaking today June 28, ************************************** the period of June *****, 2025! Thank God it's raining this early so it can test out our brand new roof.!!! My wife and I would like for Erie Home to take out the skylight windows on the roof and replace the decking and roof shingles without those skylight, that way we won't have to worry about the leaks anymore, we where not aware that they where going to take those out when they did the roofing on our house otherwise we would have had a chat about it between ourselves if we wanted to just cover the roof with full decking or have them put those skylight windows back! They did not ask us! We honestly didn't worry about it tell the leak issue today! And it's not even storming raining hard at all, what would happen if it did and when it does, can't imagine that as we would have a puddle of water in the sunroom! As I am writing this report that leak is dripping on our flooring now...Please fix this issue!

      Business Response

      Date: 07/10/2025

Erie Home apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. A water test with IM confirmed the leak was due to a pre-existing issue with the seal between the fiberglass and skylight frame. Water had been pooling inside the skylight and leaking into the home. We re-sealed both skylights and, after a second water test, confirmed the leaks were resolved.

In February of ****************************** installed a new roof on my home in extremely poor weather conditions .I contacted the supervisor and ask that they proceed at a later date when the weather was better. He said that they did installs in the winter all of the time and that their materials were designed for cold conditions. The first day was 10 degrees when the south side of the roof was installed. The 2nd day was minus 10 degrees with a 20 mile per hour wind out of the northeast making the wind chill -30 I felt sorry for the 2 guys on the roof and they did a very poor job on the installation because they were freezing. I have water and debris leaking into my garage and the crown has been worked on 4 times and the roof still leaks. I have been in contact with your regional manager and he is really no help In my opinion, this job was a complete failure and I think that I should get full refund! Thank you **** ******

We recently spoke with Mr. **** ****** regarding his concerns about a roof installation completed in February 2021. While we understand and acknowledge his dissatisfaction, we must clarify our current position.
Mr. ****** has since filed an insurance claim related to an act of God and is proceeding with a full roof replacement through a different contractor. Given this, Erie Home is unable to perform any further work or provide materials, as doing so would constitute insurance fraud.

My elderly mother was "swindled" into putting a new roof on her home, which she does not own! The home is and has been owned by the ********************* since 2017 where I am the trustee. On May 13, 2025, Erie Home Roofing arrived at my home to begin a scheduled roof replacement. Despite arriving early in the morning, their crew did not begin work until around noon due to missing materials. The project manager had to leave the site to purchase supplies from **********, which caused significant delays.Later that same day, the crew left the job site with an improperly installed and ripped tarp over my exposed roof. That night and into the following morning, it began to rain heavily. Due to the companys failure to secure the home with a proper tarp, water penetrated my entire home, beginning in the attic and spreading to multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, the living room, and additional areas.I contacted Erie Home immediately after the damage began. They told me they were on their way but would take over an hour to arrive. By the time they returned, substantial damage had already occurred. Though the roof was eventually completed, they have failed to address or repair any of the interior water damage caused by their ************* has now been over a month, and the company is now claiming that the damage exceeds what they can handle. The extent of this damageincluding potential moldis a direct result of their failure to prepare properly, bring necessary materials, and protect my home.I am requesting that this issue be investigated and resolved immediately. If this matter is not addressed appropriately and in a timely fashion, I will be pursuing legal action for property damage, negligence, and potential health risks due to mold exposure.I have photos, documentation, and a licensed contractor estimate confirming the damage. I am also preparing to hire a mold remediation specialist.
