They call all hours of the day morning, afternoon and night from different numbers. I want this to stop! I am on the do not call registry and they continue to call. I have so many numbers blocked from this same person named Jennifer the underwriter.

A women named Jessica with an American accent is leaving multiple messages saying she is from "your loan processing team" and she needs "final details mostly relating to your income and other minor items to complete your approval". The number she called from was 262-463-3464 however she says to call her back at 877-867-5139. I have not applied for anything so it appears to be a scam.

Caller ID number was listed as 1-828-554-4016 left a message stating they were Jessica calling from my loan approval team they needed to verify a few final details mostly really its your income and if you order minor items just to complete your approval could you please return the call at 877-867-5139

The caller said she was trying to reach out to complete my loan process, all she needed to do was verify a few details, like my income. Then she asked me to call back before 5pm pacific time if possible. She gave an application ID to reference but never said what company she was from.

Around 2009, before Wachovia Bank was purchased by Wells Fargo, my husband and I took advantage of a home equity line of credit offered to us. We never used the equity line of credit. Fast-forward to 2021, my husband passes away. I decided to use the Wells Fargo home equity credit line to pay for his funeral expenses. Every year, when my homeowner's insurance needs to be renewed. Wells Fargo sends me a notice requesting me to send them proof of my homeowner's insurance. I sent them my insurance declaration covering my home from The Hartford and subsequently got a letter confirming receipt of proof of homeowner coverage. Today, January 22, 2025, I received a letter from 'Wachovia Mortgage Corp'. It said 'Final Notice' on the page header. If I can attach a copy of this letter, I will. The first line of the letter said: "ATTENTION: ****** ******. It is important you contact our office at 1-888-404-4504 upon receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage before 1/31/2025." It went on, "This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at ** **** ****** ***, *******, ** secured by WACHOVIA MORTGAGE CORP may be expiring or has already expired." "Failure to call and prevent a potential lapse in coverage could result in you being liable for all costs associated with any home repairs." Associating this company with Wells Fargo, I called them to ask what this was all about. The first man that answered the call, disconnected me. The second man argued with me and asked me if I was a 'robot' because I kept asking, "is this insurance mandatory?". He would not answer, he kept talking over me and eventually hung up on me. I called a third time and asked to speak to a manager. The man would not do that, send my call to a superior, but he at least answered my question, that 'no' this was not a requirement for my home equity loan through Wells Fargo. It was all so deceptive and underhanded, and I'm sure there are many others my age (or younger, since I'm 81 years old) who will fall victim to this type of scam and purchase 'interior' homeowners insurance because they were intimidated to do so.

Asking to call to finalize a loan that I didn’t apply for.

The person (Jessica) leaves a voice mail saying my loan approval is almost complete and to call 8778675139 with the app ID they provide. but i called the number and it says its not in service.

I keep getting phone calls from Jessica from the loan processing team or the loan approval team. She leaves a message each time. She is asking for additional information to complete my loan. I HAVE NOT APPLIED FOR ANY LOANS. These calls come from phone numbers: 507-832-3078, 219-280-5827, 202-977-3101, 645-210-7615, 364-224-9825, and 929-748-1386. The phone number she leaves to return her call is 877-867-5139. I janswered the phone last week and the man that answered said HELLO ***** (my name). I told him we did not apply for a loan and to stop calling and he hung up on me. They keep calling, each time with a different number.

Received almost daily calls from different phone numbers that leave similar messages. It is a woman calling about a loan I applied for (which I didn’t) and she includes a case number and to call back at 877-867-5139. I have continually blocked the numbers and new one pops up from all over the US. They’ve used CT, MA, RI, AL, TX, etc. She never uses a company name and says to call if you want to cancel the application.

They call and leave a voice mail saying that they need me to get back to them for more personal information to complete my loan.

Trying to get a fee for a fictional loan

This company calls constantly, uses a different ph # when the block each one, some ph #'s are 605-409-1789 in SD, 252-370,9306 in NC, 401-425-6888 in RI and each time the girls voice is same-says quote : "hey there this is jessica again from your loan processing team , i'v been trying to reach out to you about your loan application, we need to verify some details such as you annual income, and other items to process, please call me by 5 pm to finalize today. Call me at 877-867-5139 and reference your loan app # AHZ34578." unquote. This has to be a scam !!!! i have retained the voice mail message.

A call from "Jessica" from the loans department asking me to call back to get some income information and address.

Received call asking to finalize a loan application, and they needed a few more pieces of information related to my income. Gave a loan application ID of AHZ34578.

Said I applied for a loan

"Jessica" stated she is returning my call about my loan application. I don't have any loan applications, and she calls multiple times a day. Very annoying and sketchy. She asks for a call back at 877-867-5139 and leaves a loan number that she says is my case number. You asked for the scammer location and I have no idea where she is calling from. I just want them to stop.

Continue to receive calls, stating that I need to call to finalize my loan application and gives a reference number.

Message began with “Hey there, this is Jessica again from your loan processing team. I've been trying to reach out to you regarding your loan application, but we haven't been able to connect yet.” And said they need to verify my income, left (877) 867-5139 as the number to call back, and urging me to call to finalize everything. We have not applied for any loans and have our credit locked.

person or recording named Jessica, no name of business or amount of "loan" that i supposedly applied for. call back number 877-867-5139 but originated from an indiana exchange. wanted me to call back before 5pm pacific time.

Had multiple phone calls from a woman claiming to be Jessica and that she needed information in order to process my loan. I did not apply for a loan. She left this number as a call back 877-867-5139 and an application ID as well.

I got multiple calls that said "Chase", i answered one and the voice on the other end "Indian sounding" kept saying hello, Hello, and I hung up. he immediately called back and asked if he could hear me and he said yes, then gave his name "Gary" I think and said someone was applying for a loan or card with Chase using my social ending in the same 4 numbers of my social, which he had correct. he asked if i handle all of my own finances and paid my own bills and if anyone else had access to my info. I told him no. he asked me if i had and family or friends in Dallas TX that would have access to my info, I said No. he then wanted to transfer me to a credit bureau person so that tey could stop the application. i told him he didn't need to transfer me that he could just cancel the application. he said he had to transfer me as they had to cancel. so I hung on for a second, hung up and then blocked the number as they once again tried to call back. then started surfing the internet and found this page about it.
