- Government Actions:Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Consent Order
On June 17, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.809(a) (2022). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to ensure that all change orders will be in writing and signed by the homeowner and contain a summary of the work to be done, materials to be used and price. The monetary penalty of $2500.00 will be stayed on the condition that the business fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the link below.
