Community outreach

Through our Speakers Bureau program, attending community events, and local media appearances, BBB is able to engage the community by providing education about the resources available to them including BBB Scam Tracker, free consumer services, and the importance of checking with BBB first before making a purchasing decision.

In 2023, in partnership with the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and SBDC, BBB launched its first of many cohorts available to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs to learn more about starting and growing their businesses. These free courses cover financial management, risk management, loan readiness, access to capital, business continuity and more. More cohorts in both English and Spanish are planned for 2024. Be sure to read the BBB Trust Tribune or visit BBB.org to stay informed about upcoming events.

BBB Business Profiles

BBB has marketplace data and maintains free reports on more than 5.3 million businesses across North America.

By both highlighting our trustworthy Accredited Business and maintaining our large database, we’re able to provide these free profiles containing information about a company’s accreditation status, rating, reviews, complaints, advertising practices, and government actions. By checking BBB Business Profiles first, consumers and businesses are empowered to find businesses they can trust.
