    I'm not sure this company exists, they take your money, but no support. Since taking over the **** ***** **** business, I have tried to contact them several times, they don't answer the phone, voice messages, or emails. I can't even cancel the contract, very frustrating. I guess I will have to take legal action.

    We’ve been converted from **** to API. It’s been nothing but a complete disaster since. The monthly invoice is wrong and tripled and I have been trying all means to get a hold of anyone. No one responds. Left a dozen voice mails, sent emails and then tried to even call the monitoring centre. No one picks up. Can’t imagine that they will handle any emergency or dispatch someone on a triggered alarm. **** ********** really did a number on us..tossed us over to API and left us completely in a mess without anyone helping or responding to calls. ****** ****** this company seems to have major issues and does not respond to any client inquiries.

    API Alarm Inc took over from another company that company was not charging repair and maintenance ( Repair was part of the contract). API alarm wants $33 per month to provide repair and maint. Why is that?

    I'm trying to contact service department for over 2 weeks with no luck. My alarm is not working and I don't know what to do. I have also tried to cancel my service but also nobody answers the phone. 'Worse service ever! I will never recommend this company.

    This company took over from my previous alarm provider on October 1, 2025. In the transition letter I received from my previous provider they wrote The monthly rate of you current ***** **** service will remain the same for 2 years, starting October 1. If the term for your current ***** **** service extends beyond those 2 years, the rate will remain the same for the duration of your term. I received my very first bill from API in early November and discovered that API is NOT charging me the same rate that the previous provider charged but was charging me more.
    On November 6th I made 8 phone calls to different departments of API trying to speak to someone. I left voice mails on three different lines and at least 3 specifically on the billing line over 2 different days. I also waited on hold three times until the line disconnected. I also sent two emails to API asking for someone to call me.
    I have received zero calls back, no email, simply no reply whatsoever from this company addressing my over-billing situation. It is unconscionable to me that a company would do business this way. After reading reviews here and online it appears I am certainly not alone.
    My issue is a simply fix but it is moving me to consider other options for alarm services if they cannot address this simple issue and correct it.
    Could someone please contact me so we can move forward?

    Ever since they took over from ****, all of our sensors have gone offline. Their technical support department is a voicemail and no one calls back. I've sent 10+ emails and no reply. I've been sending emails to cancel for 2 weeks and I can't even get a response from the company to cancel.

    Customer service is non-existent. After api Alarm bought out **** ******'s home monitoring service, I have not received any communication from api Alarm (no welcome email/letter, no information as to my customer ID, etc). I can't register for their online portal, as it required a customer ID to create an account (or to determine if one has an account). I do not even know if they are actively monitoring my alarm system.
    I have called numerous times only to be disconnected by their IVR system when transferring my call to a department, and when I select "Customer Service", it just says please wait on the line. I've waited over two hours multiple times waiting for an agent (during business hours even), an no one answers. One time an agent did answer, but it was like they pretended they couldn't hear me and hung up.
    Dur to the lack of communication and botched switch from **** to API, I want to cancel my service with them but it is impossible when no one responds to any means of contact. No response to calls no emails.

    I've called API Alarm technical/customer service multiple times without receiving any assistance. After painstakingly holding on calls for minutes on end, they would not answer and would hang up the phone. I have left messages on their answering machine pre-business hours in the hopes they would call back. But they have never responded. I have equipment that is broken and needs repair under contract. **** ** ********** * ****** ** ********* I request a remedy immediately.

    i used to be with **** **** alarm then the my service got sold to API
    My alarm went off on the 31st of October, i only got the email notification and not a single call to check if everything is ok
    i called next day to request cancelation they told me cancelation only done by email
    i sent email to cancel to multiple email addresses of the company and never heard back
    3 days later after the email i got charged for another month
    This company is a scam
